I literally started blender modeling and animation with your tutorials, they are great for the beginners and they gives a basic fundamentals on how to work with the Software. And I do like that almost every video is something new. To not say that the donut tutorial isn't a good tutorial. It tries and shows the entire aspect of the blender interface and what you can do with it, but that might be overwhelming. And this was my issue. I was doing something but I was feeling like I didn't achieve nothing at the end of the tutorial I was watching, but with your tutorials, at least after three or four moths of causal modeling by trying to recreate your tutorials I now have an idea on how the program works and how to create things. But now I do thing is time to shift the gears up a bit and do something on my own, and if, only trying to recreate the speed modeling that you do. Thanks a lot.
I'm really enjoying this type of tutorial, with them I'm memorizing all the shortcut keys and discovering new functions in Blender. I'm having a little difficulty because I'm not fluent in English, but little by little I'm getting it. Thank you for that!
For those without a numpad, instead of rebinding Bool Tool’s hotkeys, you could press Ctrl Shift B to open the menu and access all the tools without using hotkeys :)
I was with you up until the uv editor. Now I’m lost 😢 at 20:31 you do a hot key F so that edges appear in your shader editor but I don’t have that and I don’t understand how you got a pre-made texture set up. 🙈🥺

@@louisehenrion Swap the places of the Btool it worked for me on 4.0. So Btool.03 should be above the bevel and it fixes the missing piece. Then when you do the next step the bottom part won't disappear either.
so good so far, had to really slow the video down to follow along. just stuck on the whole materializer, none of those options pop up even after hitting Shift + A.
Everyone's who have a problem with boolean parts of the video: slow the speed of the video and look carefully. There's a tricky moments what and which order you should choose objects. And everything will work.
For some reason when I do the boolen hotkey Ctrl + / for the game controller d-pad, it doesn't work out to be as nice as yours and there's an obvious overlap of vertices/etc. I'll figure it out though. Will be an additional learning experience lol
Can you please tell me how the "edges" function popped up when you were coloring the objects? I am using Blender v4.0.1 but after pressing F the Fluent MZ did not show up on my screen. I am absolutely naive to this software and 3D design.
@@supastar_legendarka_2044 you can solve this by downloading the scene file (i downloaded it from gumroad) and then go to File>Append then you select the file and open the NodeTrees folder and select "Edges". Once you do that, you go to the shader editor and press Shift+A>Group>Edges

Press "n" for the right side bar, then "edit" and Bool Tool menu should appear (maybe amongst other add on you have activated). Then you can use the "brush boolean" (= non destructive) of your choice.

Materializer is an addon (Fluent Materializer)
you still have the light and the Boolean stuff showing in the render how do you make it not show?
Maybe try disabling it in the render by clicking the camera icon on the top right for the "boolean stuff".

Make sure to select the bottom piece first, then the top. Ctrl+shift+b then select "Brush boolean -> slice"

Go to your overlays and make sure your face orientations are correct. Sometimes they get flipped when you use extrude.
