When you work it's like watching an artist paint. Sure, it's painting, but it's always a different scene with a different theme. It doesn't get boring watching you guys. I like wondering what and where your next canvas will be. You all do such a great job
Thank you very much for watching and the comment
GOOOOOOD
MAAAAAAAAWNIN

Thank you keep telling all your buddies hope this channel grow
Hello Gang ! The Season begins! Don't worry about being boring, that's the reason I watch your channel. It's real not a bunch of hype .! Thanks for the hard work ! Most people don't know how much work in video it takes.
I appreciate that
GROW grow grow .... !!!
I do like knowing that in theory a yard of concrete is 3X3X3= 27 cubic feet.
For many homeowner projects that translates to a 4 inch slab of 81 square feet. If you want to be really cheap and use the 3-1/2 width of a 2X4, you'll get pretty close to 100 sq ft per yard.
When estimating, don't bother subtracting for where posts are, but do add for thickened edges and radiuses where joining a pre-existing slab.
You'll always run short a little because you are measuring the depth to the top of a non flat surface of rocks or gravel and because of a certain amount left on the truck that's a little more if you don't have the patience to scrape the chute thoroughly. And for most common mixes the tail end of the truck is a little more rocks that you don't want at what's likely the highest visibility part of the pour.
So add a half a yard to be safe and for complicated shapes and when there are steps add a full yard. It's annoying to pay for more concrete than you need but way more annoying to come out short.
Great video Tom and crew
Thanks 👍
Tom, you and your crew make it look so easy, but I know it is hard work, but it always looks so good when you get through with a pour.
Thanks 👍
Sloop John Bee - love your background music!!!
Nice
Awesome work u guys do
Thank you!
Nice looking job, as usual. Nice break in the weather to let you guys finish up a few things.
I like the way those cuts, are not only functional, they really make it look elegant, and finish the look as well, instead of plain looking.
Thanks 👍
And the season begins. Stay safe throughout Tom.
Glad you’re still with us. Thanks.
Spring is in the air another Great job by Tom and crew I'm ready for some concrete video's they never get boring 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Yes indeed work while you can ❤❤❤
Glad you got some good weather to work in. Probably not near as happy as you. To see you ordered plenty of concrete!
Good job 👍 I appreciate how you and your crew mix the science of concrete with your artistic abilities. Love your videos and commentary.
We go to town for corn at a True Value store for corn to feed the deer and turkeys. One has to step up on the concrete to enter the store. If it has rained or has snow on it, it's very slick. First time I noticed they should have broomed it but they put a mirror finish instead. I'm surprised nobody has fallen down. I guess they weren't thinking. Also the color of the concrete a darker color and looks slick
I’m surprised they did that on commercial
Love the music choice for this b
Video
I can’t believe that you can pull off the form so soon. What a great job.
Broom low. POW!
Looks good, I don't like the narrow step I would do a 12 in, there is plenty of room for it.
Are you ready for this? I did a slab last week broom finish with bicycle tracks in it. The guys a bicycle guy. I've had some strange requests before.
Did I see Tom walk under the chute? Good thing it's not training day. 😅
Nice Vid!
Thanks
One of the biggest things I've learned on here is to contractually keep final landscaping off of my list of duties within the contract. That just saved me a good bit if money. Thank you thank you thank you. I just never thought about it and never had a problem with it before.
Thanks for sharing. Always enjoy your videos. Does it means the season is starting?
We are underway
Shared ya to X. Don't really have friends. But did my part. Nice pours, I can almost smell the mud❤
Ooo no there not wire cutters 😢 !! LoL 😂
Steven didn't use them on his wiring work !! 😂
TOM SAYS: "NEVER WALK UNDER THE CHUTES FROM THE CONCRETE TRUCK ... "
so who walked under the chutes in the video???? 😁😁😁
I just had to look at work i parked 17th and Arch Philadelphia. Some dude with a full grown beard wearing a dress and high heels was giving me a cute look and I looked at him and said where's the rest of you? Then he tripped over a sidewalk crack I said buddy you okay? I said come on that's not the first crack you tripped over. He thought it was the funniest thing ever. I'm still emotionally trying to get a grasp on the situation
POOOUUURRR IT OOUTT!!!!
Hi Tom, what does your concrete supplier do during the winter months?
There’s always something to do walls footers floors
Curious why you add the blocks on outside of posts instead of nailing the form directly onto the post? What is the advantage of this? Thanks
That allow the concrete to go an inch and a half past the post but not around it
Ok thanks I thought there was maybe another reason
The reason you don't have the proper step tools??? Marshall town makes a set of step tools .
I know you would not get away with that in my State, its required to have a minimum of 12 inches
Like Jackie Gleason used to say “ and away we go”. I might of just dated myself with that comment. See you in the morning Tom, don’t be late 👍
Love that!
👋🏻
Tom, you walked under the chute out front with the camera… stop doing that… you know better… you are too close to retirement to get hurt now.
