Hey Ryan, great work. A little plasticizer/water reducer in the mix would make it more workable without affecting the yield strength of the concrete. Ask your mix guy about it.
when I used to work with guys doing concrete, I learned from old timers as soon as the concrete is In the forms, take your brick trowel, and run it back and forth between the new concrete and the form fast a few times, this removes honeycomb and sets the stone in the concrete up for edging

This is really helpful as I'm thinking about rebuilding my small concrete front porch. Wondering if you think there should be a construction joint against the foundation to allow for expansion? Or does the rebar drilled into the foundation prevent that?

What is the rope for?
Dripper... 8:01
Forms a channel on the underside of the concrete to force water to drip rather than running in under the slab.
How much?
Wow I just got here
Couldn't you just go 12 24 32 plum all three marks the measure 7 1/4 down twice
👍🧱
What is the rope for at 21:34? A car came by and I couldn't understand you. ua-cam.com/video/cE08ny6HKF8/v-deo.html
