My dog is recovering in a crate for 95 percent of each day. Other times (5 percent of the time), I take him outside to take care of his business, eat, drink, or block off a large room (living room) where he can have the freedom to move around. When I do take him outside to use restroom, he does trot out to the area of choice and back to the house (10 yards or so). He also, when I'm not aware might jump up onto the couch and back down. Again, the majority of the time he is resting in the crate. Are these activities (jumping and trotting) ok during recovery time?
Is it ok if my dog jumps up onto the couch and back down again, during the rest/recovery time?
Did your dog recover ok ?
