why are checking to see if your service brakes hold for step 6 if your accelerating, isn't that your checking your parking brake to see if that holds????
Nice Thomas Saf T Liner HDX. Sounds like it must have a Cat motor when it started not positive but, most HDXs I seen have Cats all the ones in my district do they crank forever sometimes when they start never mind that the second time you started it in the video you could definitley tell its a Cat motor.
you need to redo this as you forgot to chock the wheels, mention seat belt, when to apply emergency brake, etc. write a script that follows EVERY step and then read from the script like an airline pilot doing a trip preflight check. mention that this is for you state and that requirements in other states may vary. thank you for your attempt but you really need to be exact and then review (you published without any 2nd takes). Following your steps in Pennsylvania would fail the test.

You did not explain why we test the 2-minute pressure reduction or the 3-minute pressure drop WHY what part of the brake system are you testing.

ron barchfeld this wasn’t meant to be an entire pre-trip. Only brake tests.
