Thank you! I'm shooting on the Sigma 60-600mm DG OS HSM f/4.5-6.3 Sports Lens. That footage is straight out of camera from the lens, only color corrected and a slight amount of sharpening on post. I rarely use Topaz for any of my footage, and if I do, I will make a reference to it. :)
I saw that you've used the Sigma 500mm f/5.6 DG DN OS Sports Lens. What's your thought on the 60-600 vs this. I have a Sony 200-600, but am looking at prime lenses.
@@filbilly I really enjoyed working with that lens actually! It was really sharp too. I was very surprised with the small form of the lens and how light it was in comparison to other prime lenses of that focal length. It is a bit slower, f/5.6 I believe, but I was very impressed by it. If you are looking for a prime with reach, it certainly is worth considering. It was very sharp. I would say it is slightly sharper than the 60-600mm.
Great video again what picture profile do you shoot it is it s-log if so it would be good to show us in a video how you expose the footage as I not too sure
Glad you enjoyed the video! And yes, it is S-log3. The FX6 I'm using here makes it a bit easier to shoot, but just a quick general rule of thumb is to expose 1.7 stops above if using something like a Sony A7s III etc. I'll add this idea to my list of videos to create! Thanks for the recommendation.
@@ExploringNature1 I over expose by 1.7 to 2.0 stops using the A7s3 when using Slog3. It's helpful to get a variable ND filter as well instead of changing aperture or shutter speeds.
Incredible. This one hit and has really great captures of the bird and that location on the river with canyon going up 👍🏻
Thanks Jamie! I’m glad you enjoyed this one! Hope you’re doing well! Merry Christmas!

Was curious what lens you used to shoot the roadrunner. Super sharp. Did you use Topaz in post? Thanks!
