A few that I always add to my list, sensor cleaning swabs with the solution, a clean microfiber cloth with the cleaning solution, backup screws that are compatible with the rig I’m shooting with, rain cover for the camera & for the backpack, a water bottle & snack bars!!!
@@BenTutton hehe i'm sure!! When you travel internationally and you know you have a layover, do you still check your pelican gear bag ? Do you worry about it getting lost or you just insure all your gear ? If you do check it, what filming stuff do you take with you as a carry on ?
@happy1wandering to be honest, pretty much the only thing I hand carry is the batteries and hard drives. We’ve usually got so much kit it all goes in the hold. The only place I’ve ever had a problem is Johannesburg - camera and lenses are always hand carried through Jo’burg now.
@ What do you when you’re traveling as a solo shooter ? I get scared about airlines loosing luggage & more scared about delaying a shoot. I don’t insure every single thing I have. I always carry a large multi pocket vest with me. If I’m asked to weigh the carry on, which only a few airlines do nowadays, I put in as many stuff in the vest which surprisingly fits in the mavic 3 & 2 mirrorless cameras. Looks awkward & funny but it does work haha
Most work is as a team, but when I’m worried/on smaller shoots then I’ll take the camera and important lenses. But we’re pretty screwed if the tripod doesn’t turn up! I’ve had very few shoots delayed due to lost luggage. It does happen, but generally rare in my experience. We try not to have tight transfers though for that exact reason.
Great video. Very much agree with your 6 choices. Have them all in my bag at all times - except that usb to d-tap which looks very neat (but i do have a d-tap charger that plugs into ac power in case my main charger dies).

They’re all in the big blue box!

Yeah, it’s a cool little bit of kit that’s small and light enough to come everywhere!
And a “Spork” for Grub and a Brew 👍🇬🇧 Keep Well.
Oooh! I need to add a spork to my kit! 😂
