I remember always playing survival with my brother on his account, so one day I finally decided to make my own, and I decided for my first world to be creative mode, so that I could build a bunch of stuff, I remember one of the first things I built was a treehouse in the jungle, overlooking a Savana, with campfires on the balcony, and this song was playing for some time, so EVERY time I think of this song I think of my first ever world. Sad part is that one day in that world I decided to fly as high as I could in a snow storm, when I went back down however, I was far from my home and had no way to go back :’)

Honestly Minecraft didn't hit its peak for me in 2011 or 1.8, it hit its peak in update aquatic. That's when the first hints of change started to seep in, like the turtle mob, it's only use being to make a gimmick item. From then on, the updates were amazing, but they just weren't "Minecraft".

Minecraft lore simplified there used to be a a group of people called the old builder/ ancient builders they people created the ancient structures we see today from the sky in the end to the depths of the ancient city and the nether blaze fortresses they were in tribes, looking for resources and land, they used everything and killed everything they saw until they created the monster that will end them the wither this wither we see today may not be like the wither they saw maybe it was larger explains the bones underground and in the nether, the ancient builders were scared so they fled to the depths to build the ancient city's we see today until the wither found them so they created a portal that brought the sculk and warden, the warden and the wither had a huge battle lastly the warden wins, but the people aren't safe so they go to the end and kill every dragon until there one, and they became ender men because they eat to much coarse fruit.

I always thought of this song as the update aquatic theme. I don't know why but my brain randomly made that connection when I first heard it.
I believe c418 used hand pans which force sound waves to reverb until they eventually stop giving you the wave feel
