The sentence "福岡こそ一番住みたいです" that doesn't have the "A = B" structure you mentioned would not be a good translation for the original sentence, as it changes the meaning. 2. 来週末こそ、必ず泳ぎに行きます。 Next weekend I am definitely going to swim. →すばらしい！
I love your videos, they are highly useful. Just one tiny suggestion to help us beginners: could you maybe start using plain forms of verbs as the "default" form to derive others from. The "masu" form is kinda archaic and especially just the i-stem with the masu helper attached. So to get to other forms from there is more cumbersome and difficult for us in general. It feels like having to work backwards before going forward. Thanks!
The only thing I disagree with is that it is kinda archaic. Masu form is extremely prevalent and isn't going anywhere anytime soon. I get what you mean about working backwards but it is literally one step to conjugate back to base form. And in some cases seeing the masu form first will help you immediately know if it is an いる/える exception verb. Take the verb 喋る (しゃべる) in plain form you'd be forgiven for assuming it conjugates like 食べる. But seeing it first as 喋ります instantly gives away that it is an exception and follows the 五段 conjugations.

「こそ」は日常会話でもよく使われます。この言葉は強調の意味を持っていて、「まさにそれこそが重要だ」というようなニュアンスを伝えるために使われます。
例えば：
「今日こそ運動する！」（今日は絶対に運動する）
「これこそが探していた本だ」（これがまさに探していた本だ）
このように、「こそ」は特定のものや状況を強調したいときに使われます。文の中で重要なポイントを際立たせる役割を果たします。
