Hi Julia - Oh how fun!!! Love it. So whimsical and pretty. Love your bag of appliqué flowers. Great idea to put fusible on the back of them. You always come up with fun ideas. This would be perfect for a tote bag or journal cover. I love that you add words to your stuff. It gives it so much personality. The rain is here and gonna stay all week long. At least it’s warm outside. Hope you are getting some warmer weather. Hugs.
Hi Pam! I finally got into my little shop and I've been busy setting up. I don't like getting old! I'm so stiff and sore from lifting heavy racks and grids-lol. I can't believe I used to set up for outside shows with canopies and the whole nine yards. It's time to slow done.... Hope you are doing well. We are finally getting warmer and drier weather. Alleluia! Hugs, Julia
Thank you for your creative videos. You have inspired me many times to try your techniques. My projects are not as good as yours, but I am trying. Again, thank you for your gracious sharing.
I always learn something new watching your tutorials Julia. Using the clear soluble film you used is a genius way to stitch in place all the little pieces. Thanks Julia.
Really fun project! I like how you just did a little bleaching and it went a long way to make a base for your bike picture. And I love the little details on the front!
Hi, I hope you had a fabulous day! I was working in my sewing room today and now I get to sit and watch your videos. I still nursing a head cold but I'm getting better. I hope you have a blissful week ahead. Thank you for posting this video.
I just found a denim vest and 2 denim shirts from the thrift store. As soon as I found them I immediately thought of you!!! I will be binge watching your videos for my inspiration......you always have great ideas! Thank you for another great video.
I LOVE THIS Julia!!! 🤗 The flowers for the bike tires totally makes it! 💜 I've been meaning to go to your Etsy shop so I'm going there next! 🥳 You've also encouraged me to try Clorox Cleanup for bleaching on fabric. It's the only bleach product I own, lol. It's very rare that I use bleach products as well. Thank you again for sharing your amazing creativity. Enjoy your Sunday! Brenda 🌼
I really like this shirt with all the bright cheerful accents. I love denim shirts like this, but I haven’t seen them in the store for years…Looks like I need to make a trip to the thrift store! Do you ever turn long sleeves into shorter ones? I don’t like to wear sleeveless, but our cold season is quite short here in the desert, so I was wondering how difficult of an altering job it might be.
Hi, Yes I shorten the sleeves on many of my shirts. I like to incorporate the fabric into the design. I will show some ideas in upcoming videos. My shop here in MN is only open in the summer so I sell more short sleeve or sleeveless shirts. Thanks so much for watching, Julia
Love how you thrifted a plain denim shirt into something absolutely beautiful!❤️
Hi Julia. I would love to see some footage over the summer of your “booth” at the weekend market you participate in. Thanks for lots of great ideas.
Soooooooo stinking adorable! I wish it was a 3x, I'd buy it in a heartbeat 💓🐞
