Thank you very much your series helped me start my career! Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge across the world helping 3D artists like me
Thank you, kind person! You are doing a great, useful thing! I wish you health, prosperity and excellent mood! Thanks for your videos! Looking forward to more!
I like this very very much since I love 3d modelling/sculpting and God of war. But it's ridiculous that you didn't made a playlist of this axe's workflow...
first of the first thank you, that was a big question why people use zbrush what has very polygons and unusable for animation and game and etc now ik they use it for bump maping , thank you a lot , you are my hero and big fan of you :hearts:
Thank you so much for the detailed and easy tutorial , also for the energy levels you have are very motivating! You have helped😃 me a lot while making my demo reel/ portfolio.
I see you never uncheck "auto unwrap" in Substance 3D Painter. Is there a case where you do uncheck it an perhaps import uv maps done in maya?. I find Substance 3D Painter unwrapping to only work on very simple meshes.
Hi there, I have a 2D compositing background so I still have a lot to learn about 3D. I was wondering what the purpose of starting with the lowpoly mesh and then importing a highpoly one is for this workflow. Is it just to increase speed and lower memory usage, or does if have a visible effect on the end result?
As an example your low poly model is 1000 poly's with no detail and your high poly model is 10000 poly's with lots of details, you project/bake the details and quality from the high poly onto the low poly to save on performance.
I want more maya and tutorials, especially interior / exterior and product modeling tutorials. It is better to give 3d max tutorial and Exhibition Stall Design modeling
Hello mam , 1st of all wishing you & your family a Happy Christmas and a big thanks to you for helping many of us with sharing your knowledge. Mam i had an issue with baking in substance painter, i created a low poly model in maya , unwrapped it completely then brought it in zbrush for sculpting , i watched your AXE tutorial of maya >zbrush >substance painter pipeline. All going well i did everything as i proceeded, then when it came to texturing and i am selecting my hi_poly model obake the textures from there onto my low poly its not doing it properly. Is there a way i could send you the images in order to better explain the situation i am facing. it would be very helpful mam......Thank you.
Hi Subhadeep, I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with a bake. Watch this video which goes over troubleshooting baking in substance 3d. Hopefully it helps! ua-cam.com/video/aVD1ZsYUwz8/v-deo.html
My God... I've been trying to find an easier way of hooking up Substance Painter maps in Maya. Everywhere I looked it said there was only a plugin for Designer. Where do I get this plugin?
Found it. I never realised you already have it downloaded. You have to go into Plugin Manager and search substance and make sure the options are ticked.
This series is what probably helped me by far the most with getting my head around detailing and painting models, very nice job!
thanks for showing the pipeline!

When I export from Maya to Substance Painter, the UVS position of my model gets changed. How to fix it?please help.
Make sure that before you export/save, you've frozen the transformation, deleted history. That should do it!
vikings subscribed to you lol
That is hilarious!! Thank you for letting me know :D
