It's my first comment here, but I've came across your video many years ago, but only recently started to watch them more and more because how good they are. Good in terms of clarity & how simple and fun you make everything sounds. You have a way of breaking complex subjects down to comprehensible bite-size for beginners. Maybe you already know this but I just wanted to let you know from a viewers' perspective that your tutorials are some of the best I've seen in recent years. Keep on doing what you're doing Monica. Happily subscribed.
Thanks a ton for the clear and easy to follow tutorial! I created a knight lord with over 1000 sub tools but totals to 2milion triangles. Should I merge all similar armor pieces, do this process for those groups individually, then composite all of the textured pieces in my rendering software? Thanks again!
First time I watch a video of yours. Really cool stuff. There isn't a lot out there regarding pipeline. as a self taught beginner this really gets me. I have a question though. What if I want to create a scene with many characters. should I do it On maya or zbrush after all of them are done? oh, also, do you teach online like a course as well? again, thank you so much for the amazing video. subscribed!
excellent video Monica!! I just have a question how is it that the UV of the high poly match the UV of the Low polymodel when the low poly model was UV after remeshing?
Nice work! Because I never worked in Substance, I couldn't get rid of that seam line on my models. It always annoyed me. The exporting of the high poly to low poly data (in zbrush) was always sketchy.
Hi monica, I'm big fan you, following 4 years for your "maya tutorials" really very helpful for me thank you very much.. but maya right for virtual reality, how to handle VR AR and etc projects in maya. what's going on this field, this is really booming industry?, thank you.
Love to see you model a castle. Learning so much.

Hi Robinson, the nice thing is that you do NOT have to uv map the high poly. Only the low poly needs to be UV mapped. I hope that helps!
Nice work! Because I never worked in Substance, I couldn't get rid of that seam line on my models. It always annoyed me. The exporting of the high poly to low poly data (in zbrush) was always sketchy.
The seams are always such a hassle but sometimes Substance Painter does a great job covering them up. :)
