Thank you miss for this video it taught me how to cook chicken, my father past away recently im 28 and he was my guardian because I have aspergers and i very little social skills so I havecto learn how to cook stuff on my own now that my mother and father are walking in the could it'd very hard on my own and I can feel my anxiety meter is taking a toll but I can make it with a little bit of hope and a dream I've never been on my own but all I can do is try
I followed your technique to a tee and my thighs came out perfect! I looked at other videos for comparison and hands down your way will be my only way now. Much thanks Tess!
great video, nice work, I made them they were great, I was never sure on time & temp, you did it, also I double fork each piece as to allow spices get in there,
Thank you for these recipes I they are easy to follow and I don’t need to go buy 20 different ingredients after work, I can use what I have at home 👍🏽👍🏽
2:08 The chicken is going into a 425 degree oven for 25 minutes Then turn the over down to 350 for another 20- 25 minutes. The internal temperature should be 165 degree Fahrenheit to be safe but Tess prefers the chicken to be at 180-190 degrees to be fall off the bone tender.
Thanks so much! This was just as you described it., Tender and moist. ...and EZ! With the way the spice is used, the variations are limitless. WONDERFUL!
Best way to make hicken thighs is to bake them crispy in the oven, I say! Much agreed with you, Tess. Delicious seasoning method. Oh wow, looked so delicious when done! Beautiful sides, too. Thanks for sharing!
A lot of the time I use Morton's nature's seasons seasoning blend. I don't normally use blends but it is one of the most delicious I have ever tasted and I add a little smoked paprika to it. I'm going to check out your barbecue rub. I make your barbecue chicken thighs with barbecue sauce already.
I already have a maple smokehouse blend that I really like so when that is gone I will buy some powdered smoke. I also found powdered tamarind powdered sriracha powdered balsamic vinegar along with the Worcestershire sauce teriyaki sauce and the other ones I said in my last post. I would have used maple sugar in this anyway. I am from a maple state! :-) I can't wait to try this.
Here is what worked for me. Traeger Pork and Poultry rub 450 for 25 min 350 for 25 min. SOOOO YUMMY AND JUICY!!! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!!
I don’t cut off the fat, because the more fat the healthier, but aside from that, definitely a thumbs up on this video. I’ve never thought of pulling the skin Over and seizing underneath it as well. Good idea!
That seems like a heck of a long time to cook chicken thighs. I usually do mine at 375 degrees for around 35 minutes total. But it definitely looks excellent in this video.
Chicken thigh has enough fat it doesn’t dry out, you can’t really “overcook it” like chicken breast, internal temps in the range of 200-215 F are ok still
@@slayerpianoman Yeah, I don’t know about all that. It may bot be terribly dry at temps of over 200°, but why would you want to cook it that long anyway? There’s no reason
For once I’ve got a Tess dinner in my oven as i get starving viewing your posts. Actually your oh so dependable meatloaf recipe like Cracker Barrel. ❤️🐾🐾 Going to get your seasoning recipe NOW. Btw your seasoning up close appears to have some sort of dried herb like thyme. Just sayin.........
I've got to send this to a friend that made BBQ chicken last night.. I called it Spotted BBQ Chicken.. it looked like he took one spoon of barbecue and put it on the chicken but he didn't spread it out any.. Lol.. Crazy Mess
@@jebm2566also worth mentioning that thighs are best cooked to 180 degrees so the fat and collagen has time to render out. 150 - 160 is technically the safe minimum for killing off any bacteria but unless you’re cooking white meat the chicken is gonna feel slimy rather than juicy
Dont know if you are aware of it, but there is an ad in your video promoting " I am the queer community". If you are supporting this then you will never have me watching anything you do!
Mine were fall off the bone delicious, and skin was perfectly crisp. Thanks thumbs up

As someone who doesn't have the confidence to cook, i enjoyed watching your video and will attempt to replicate the same recipe. Thank you
Just do it, it's just food. You have to risk getting it wrong before you get it right
I usually make your bbq chicken but had no bbq sauce so I did this. Came out delicious.

Made this tonight. Looked like it was going to burn, but I kept to your temp/time in oven. Delicious! Thanks.
Did you use 425 or 450? The recipe says one thing and the video says another?
That's good

Wow, really impressed. Keep it up :)
This is so delightful,🇿🇦
in degrees celsius?
2:09 Chicken going in at 425 degree oven for 25 minutes to crisp the skin
This looks awesome.
I know a famous barbecue place down south and they are rub is salt sugar and paprika. That's it.
We use seasonings and herbs down south.
Can I use Canola oil?
This is amazing!! Thank you!!
You're so welcome!
Delicious 😋
I’m making right now!
What makes it crispy please?
It's just seasonings right?
Question, can adding flour be okay?
prolly
This looks so delicious! Cant wait to see what you make next!
More to come!
Do you recommend using olive oil?
Can you use paprika
love the video - you have a very unique accent... texas meets asian american, maybe?
top or middle oven?
I use the middle. Thanks for watching.
@@TessCooks4u Quick response. Appreciated. Me too. Thankyou
What kind of eggs are those?
Awesome, very easy to follow 👍
So, the video says 425f for , 25 mins, but the recipe when it's written says 450f for 25 minutes - which is correct?
Just cook it till it's done!
Why not use celcius like everybody else
Fantastic as usual!
Looks delicious
Mille grazie!
That looks really good!
Is Tess AI? This came out good either way
They look amazing. I'm ccx so glad your posting often. I enjoy your recipes and recommendations your channel often. Thanks again 🌻
you 425 but info says 450. ?? which is it.
I said the same thing.
Oh man! A fav, so simple and delicious! Thanks tess!!! 👅👅👅👅
You are so welcome!
In the description you say 450 degrees but in the video you say 425. Please tell me which one to use.
I just asked the same thing but maybe she missed your comment

Ummmm… made it and it was good until I saw blood 👀. Had to cook it for 350 degrees at an additional 20-30 minutes
Hey get a meat thermometer. Makes cooking so much easier. Changed my life.

The blood is removed at the slaughterhouse there's no way you saw blood
you want your drive way re tarred
She already told you to cook it the extra 20 to 30 minutes. In the recipe.
you're video was awesome but you need a better mic
Marinate the chicken if u want but tonight…. WE ARE HUNGRY
....😋...
I pull my chicken at 160 because of carry over cooking it's going to get to 175 and 15 minutes.
So hard to find list of ingredients
I'm in the kitchen
