I had never heard it before, chicken wasn’t really a food stable in my country untill like the 80s. So I got curios and started googling it. 😂
Even after cooking good food for 50 years I always say you can learn something. My chicken thighs taste good but are never crispy. I followed your recipe to a tee and what a delicious difference. I always use a casserole dish but the cookie sheet was the game changer. Just ate it with some nice cold Deviled eggs. So good. Thank you!!!

We had a black family next door that were some of the best folks I ever met, and when I was invited over for dinner, Mrs. Leona baked some chicken thighs, and Man-O-Man...I still remember her cooking, so trust me...when a black lady cooks, Y'all need to listen, Period!

Aaawww yes. Regular pans don’t create enough steam to see or recognize, but just enough to keep the skin from getting crispy. And if you have a convection setting on your oven definitely use it!! Thanks so much for your support!

I know this is an older comment, but crispy oven roasted broccoli (all you need is salt, pepper & a spray of oil) was my favorite as a kid and still slaps today! It's a blank canvas for pretty much any spices or flavors but also great as is.

I tried this but my chicken 🍗 didn’t come out ANYTHING LIKE THIS RECIPE! But I used the roast setting similar to a air fryer instead of the bake setting! Could that have been why my chicken didn’t turn out like yours?!!
