A Diawl Bach with some Bling.... It has Opal Mirage up the sides and it works a treat.....
Give it a try, change the head colour using various Fl. Flosses and your good to go.
Hook: - Kamasan B175 or Fulling Mill 1530 or Barbless Equivalent
Thread: - Burnt Orange or Fl.Orange Sheer 14/0 or Similar
Tail: - Natural Red Game Cock Hackle Fibres
Rib: - Sybai Pink Wire 0.1mm (Smaller Flies) 0.2mm Size 12 and up
Sides: - UTC Mirage Opal Medium
Body: - Natural Peacock Herl x 2
Beard: - Natural Red Game Cock Hackle Fibres
Head: - Thread above or change for a Fl. Floss your Choice
Optional: - UV Pearl Resin over the thorax and back
This is a great fly for Lake of Mentieth and I normally have it on my midge tip with a booby on the point and this and a cruncher on the droppers.
