Thank you for posting this video hopefully that's the problem I'm having too I have no communication I already tried the three different scanners and nothing.
Thank you so much my problem was the blue remote wire from the aftermarket radio hardness had like a jumper so i disconnected the blue jumper from the aftermarket harness and yea it connected to my OBD reader thanks so much.
Thank you so much. Saved me a lot. It was exactly the yellow and red tracer wire. Someone recently replaced the sound system. You are the saviour.

Hello, my car has had the aftermarket stereo for about 8 years and now I have this issue. Any ideas what it could be?
