@@richardstone9890 No lie. I played the Arcade version for a long time before I could finally beat it all the way through without dying on 6-3 and 6-4. After beating the arcade version, the original is a peace of cake. Twice as many power ups and no crazy 6-3 jumps to kill you.
@@Myron085 It his actually reverse SMB2 (Japan version) took new level from Vs. Super Mario bros. and also made new one. SMB2(Japan version) was not suppose to be a console game in the first place it was suppose to be VS. If you play SMB2 (Japan Version) the FDS version or the NES version on the Nintendo switch Called Super mario bros. the lost levels, if you finish 8-4, you will see the arcade ending. @Hillzy Boiii: that also can happen in the original Super mario bros. it can also happen in the FDS version of Super mario bros. 2, and it can also happen on the SNES all-stars version also, this his because the game does not always check if damage his taken, not just for mario enemies also, this his also why sometimes if you have the movment down, and land on a stomp able enemies, you will sometimes faze right throught it.
Cool
I played the original after the Arcade version and beat without warps the first try.
Nice :)

50:52 - ever notice the light gray ceiling thing in the last level?
What button do I press when it says push button for 1 player
L or R button I think
Do we need online membership to play this game?
@@subathrakrishnamoorthy2051 No
Im curoious can this be played with the nes online controllers
On 7-4 how did you beat it I choose both paths and I still don't win
Is there any differences between the nes and arcade version? Levels I remember
Yeah, the Arcade has some levels from SMB2 (Japan version) and some power ups and 1 ups were removed to make the game harder.
@@Myron085 ok cool thanks for letting me know I've played this long ago and I saw this on the switch arcade archives been thinking of getting it
Plus on stage 4-2 if you get the vine and go to the Seacret stage you can’t warp to level 8,7 only 6

Also, the archive version on 4-2 it only goes to world 6 instead of world 8
Glad I’m not the only one to struggle with 6-3. I’m good now, but 7-3 ia a pain!!!
Definitely.
Yep
I finally beat it all the way through, no saves and no warp zones. I was lucky because I still had 8 lives!
Why do I get mushrooms instead of turtles at level 3-1?
to stop the turtle stair life trick. :)
47:57 I would say that's some tough armor but the shell went through him so I doubt it's the armor
I have this game on my Switch
Same, but I can’t get past world 6
How u run fast
14:06. Mario doesn't jump enough to get those 2 blocks. How can I fix it?
you have to hold b while you run and jump to get up there
well done mate!
Thanks
How do you flip and smash on top of bricks/coins?
Estas viendo que yo no puedo
How did you make the jump at 14:07?? I’m stuck and can’t make that jump!
Hold down the B button to gain speed, then go back and have Mario jump. But make sure you have enough room on the left to allow Mario to make the jump
47:58 what
Yeah when I saw that, my jaw hit the floor lol
