TBH 8 minutes is actually a long time to watch a tutorial of releasing and putting some bands to a watch. BUT magically I never wanted to skip it and listening very carefully to your instruction. It kinda stress release 😅 and felt like just watching 4 minutes video. Keep the excellent job dude!!
Very well explained.
Thank you! I was really frustrated having a terrible time and you helped me a lot with your prescription of removing and replacing spring bars! Thank you
bruh youre such a humble guy. love your content. thank you
Thanks man. Very helpful and really straight to the point.
Very helpful! Thanks so much.
So helpful and very informative. Thanks 🙏🏽
Thank you so much, clear and very detailed instructions.
Needed. Thank you very much.
Thank you so much
You made it look and explain in such easy way
Really appreciate it
Very clear, thanks man
Instead of a spring bar tool I used the tiny flathead screwdriver I normally use to tighten the screws in my eye glasses, and it worked for me
Dude thank you for your clear, consice, straightforward directions and the tight video shots were perfect for visuals. Great job.
Thank you for your clear instructions! Helped me a lot and took the frustration out of re-installing my original bracelet.
Barely clear. A lot of repeating himself and misspeech.
Great video, clearly explained and very nice clear video
Great video. Thanks.
Thank you for your video. Your shown explanation is a great help. Thank you so much ⚡
Thanks very much ! Very clear !
3yr old video and yet timeless!!!! I learned what a nylon strap was really called, NATO, I had one never used it because I could not install it 🤣felt so dumb after watching this. After learning the name went straight out to buy more…. Hehehe. I wish after you slipped it on you flipped the watch over slower to show how it should look. I had to watch in slow mo and rewind a few times. Many thanks for this video, was greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
thanks for the upload.
Wow super helpful video. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching.
Good directions. Got it on the first try on 2 different brands of watches.
useful video... thank you
Thank you so much!
Great tutorial!!!
Thank you! I did it!
great job bro, enjoyed this vid a lot
33 watch makers disliked your video :)
I went to the watchmaker to replace my rubber watchband, so they ordered one for me then I heard 99 euro's for a rubber band from Armani. I thought screw that I will do it by myself haha.
This is awesome, man thank you so much
Thanks a lot! 😃
Very usefull thank you for teaching me 😊
Good video 👍🏼 thanks.
Your video is the best! THank you
Hi, I was wondering if end links have a universal fit. Would *end links* for a different model fit the *bracelet* for another model assuming they have the same lug width and are for the same type (oyster-oyster, jubilee-jubilee, etc)
On my way to try it❤
Nice video! Could you tell me where you got the natos at 1:07? I liked the colour of the middle one of the three. Thanks!
Dude you talk very similar to chris fix, thanks for the video!
It is bloody difficult to grab that spring bar. I give up!
Me too
Try using a different size springbar tool. You might need a bigger or smaller one to grip the springbar.
Damn same here wtf 😳
It was the springbar tool I got a new one and worked like a charm
My spring bar tool had 2 sizes but was easier to use a small micro screwdriver to push down on the spring.
Thanks brother 🙏 😊❤
Thank you. Between this and someone else's video on removing the spring bars/strap on a srp777, I should be able to change the bracelet off my srp775 to a nato!
Thank you
Very helpful. Thanks. Commenting for the algorithm. :)
Thanks for sharing
Thanks!!!
thank you
Awesome video. Like that it's close-up! Thank you!
Great video!
Thanks!
Thank you pro bro. 👍
very good. Thank you!
My pleasure! Thank you for watching.
For those actually trying to remove the SKX's bracelet, to my surprise I did find out that I could only remove it with the bigger "fork" of my spring bar tool, not with the smallest (some of these tools have more than one fork, specially the cheapest ones). The whole thing changed from IMPOSSIBLE to fairly easy :)))). Good luck with those spring bars. By the way, I would advise to change the Seiko's originals for a double flange spring bars with the same size (which is 1,1 mm for the ends and 2,5 for the body. Please, check, because I may be very wrong on this).
Video very well done and everything is well explained! I will be able to change my bracelet all by myself!
Thank You.
Thanks mann
Yer great job 👍
Good job!. I'm having a he k of a time, but ill keep trying.
Very informative and helpful. Simple, easy to understand and very well filmed / recorded. Why can’t everything be this simple. Great work. Thanks man, this video helped me a lot.
Thanks
Man, I don't have any of those tools and I successfully adjusted my watch just with a pin. For everyone complaining just use your brain and use whichever pin like object and you'll be able to do it.
Couldn’t figure out how to get my Citizen bracelet off. Didn’t think about looking for the pins on the bottom! Thanks!
QQ: I bought the Seiko *Fat spring bars for my SKX013. The bar is too big to seat in the holes on the case properly. They easily pop out occasionally. Does the SKX013 accept a regular spring bar? Are the holes in the case a standard size?
Does removing and attaching the straps make the spring bars to loose it's tensile strength?
My springbar from my Seiko SRPG27 doesnt have a thread on it like yours. It was so hard to remove.
did the strap come with a different spring bar or did u just use the springbar from the original bracelet
Best vid
thanks. its really helpful. :)
Glad it was of help!
Lucky that this tutorial uses the watch that i want to swap 🤙
Please could you explain how to change the bracelet on my AVIATOR F-SERIES Women Watch AVX5054L20 Rose Gold, I want to put the leather one on that came with it. I have this tool but it doesn't fit. Thanks. I think I'll have to take it into a shop. Val
Can you show me how to change seiko darth tuna strap? The lugs hasnt any hole on the outer side, the rubber straps fully the lugs
Has ChrisFix started doing wrist watches?
So can i just buy different bands and switch em.out when I want a new look without getting full.new watch?
Yup!
i was delivering probably 2 minor stroke while tried to change a strap... support your local watch shop :D
On mine, this method does not really work. But pushing in from the outer hole a bracelet pusher pin works great and easy.
Great
if you don't have a spring bar tool a mini screwdriver works just as fine:p
Thanks
Thank you for the suggestion.
goooood~
Inmeed to retry this , my islander " is not allowing me to pop these out !
What is the lug width?
I poke throw the hole then pull the spring bar. Always pings.
What about older straps of same kind 😮
I got one side out but the other side isn’t coming off no matter how much I wriggle it
I always find putting the oyster back on my Rolex a bit daunting. Any tips there?
There is a spring bar tool specifically for this task! It's not like a traditional spring bar tool; it's shaped like large tweezers! Bergeon makes one and I could not recommend it more. I only use this tool to change out rolex bracelets.
@@LumeShot Thank you for the recommendation! Great channel, keep up the good work!
I have A Skemi B16 Android how do I get the band off to replace it with a new on?
Would be nice to put some tape on watch case for avoiding scratches, specially when installing again the damn metal bracelet... Why no quick release metal bands by default from watch makers on 2021 when you can buy them separately from a lot of places!?
I have a Timex woodcrest drive watch with an expandable band that’s too tight. I’m trying to change it out to a NATO strap. This watch has the tiniest access to the watch spring bar that I get spring bar tool stuck. I worked for over 2 hrs to get 1 pin removed I’m goin over 2 1/2 on the other side & I have pretty much given up, anyone else have this problem?
Sometimes its worth just cutting the spring bar with pliers and replacing it if its giving too much trouble. The spring bars will not cost that much; well worth the time saved too.
Is that a 22 millimeter that would fit
Did you realize that the bracelet of SKX007 scrath the back part? I have an SKX007 too, and when I went to change the bracelet for a leather strap i though that the worker has scratched it :S
What's a shtrap?
great, the most important part, how to correct put on a nato strap, you skip completly.. ^^
I used an earing😉☀️
For if not what size do you need
This did not work for me and my new Seiko alpinist.
So if I had the right size band I could take a metal band off a Tommy Hilfiger watch and replace it with a rubber one
Sparrow, yes you could do that. Make sure it really is the right size because if the band is too large it won’t fit and if it is too small it might look a bit weird.
Just some extra advice,
If you do end up changing the strap, please put some tape on the lugs and case back so you don’t scratch it.
@@speelmeneer6404 thanks
Dude, you sound so similar to dave franco lol
ua-cam.com/video/ifX0oafDe3Q/v-deo.html I swear to god it was like Ronny Chieng giving me the best way to adjust my watch strap and i liked it a lot.
Having a shoulderless fat spring bar is pain...
Your SKX007 is so scratched in the back site :S
It's not that easy with these strapcode bracelets I'll tell you that.... been tackling this for 30 minutes now and still no success
I almost give up removing this fat spring bar
Thank you !
Thank you
Thank you!
