    The best thing you can do to beef up your gelatinous cube is to put it in a labyrinth which has many dead-ends, and few if any loops. "The passage ends with no more branches. As you turn around to retrace your steps, you see a faint shimmering in the air ahead of you, and a skeleton seeming to hang in the air..."

      Or combine the dead end with a bared gate. Rattling at the gates bares activates the cube and suddenly, the time to open the gate - or door - is crucial before everyone is engulfed.

    one way to mitigate the cubes low speed is to simply give it a range attack. Spitting acid for example.

      It also could slide down faster down a slope

      @@sebastiandziekanowski2383 true, but that is dependant on it having the highground wich smart players wont let it have for long.... it's still an improvement though.

    Could I offer a little constructive feedback and suggest running the audio through a filter or upscaler? It sounds like the quality is rather low from the microphone.

      I've had some other similar comments, because I'm using a noise reducer to get rid of background noise, it is lowering the quality. Not to mention I am kind of just doing this for the first time, any suggestions you have ill work to improve with!

    I'm a bit confused.
    The cube has speed15 feet. It should be able to dash, aye, for 30 feet in one turn?
    Dashing is an action, though, and a cube can't do both dash and Engulf. And it's rather weird that it has to slow down in order to Engulf!

      It can easily be home ruled to your liking! (but i agree it is kind of clunky)

      @@thatturtlegm : Hang on. Engulf reads "The cube moves up to its speed". This can obviously be combined with its "free" movement, making it able to move 30 feeton the turn it tries to Engulf someone.
      I should have read more carefully.
