Masters Security Guard Trips Tiger Woods, Makes Birdie

👉 Masters GBI special agent (aka "Security Guy") slipped in the mud and tripped Tiger Woods during the rainy second round of the 2019 Masters after Woods hit his second shot from the left rough. Tiger Woods went on to make a birdie and ultimately win the golf tournament for his fifth Masters title.
Tiger Woods narrowly avoiding injury was one of the most dramatic moments on Friday at the Masters when a security guard wiped out in the rain-soaked deep rough and accidentally clipped Tiger Wood's ankle.
If you study the video footage of the Tiger Woods Masters trip closely, Tiger is flanked by no less than four (4) security team members, including his caddie, why a fifth security guard had to run around patrons only to crash into Tiger Woods is beyond comprehension. Not surprisingly, while Security Guy fell on his right knee into Tiger, it appears the left knee of his khaki special forces pants already had mud on it, indicating this was not the first time the security guard had slipped in the mud that day, despite wearing what appear to be army-issued hiking boots.
Ultimately at the 2019 Masters, Tiger Woods won his fifth Green Jacket, and fifteenth major, by one stroke ahead of three runners-up. It left him one shy of Jack Nicklaus's record six Masters wins, and three short of Nicklaus' record eighteen major wins.
Hole No. 14, called Chinese Fir, is a 440-yard par 4, with a historical scoring average of 4.17 (8 - the eighth most difficult hole at Augusta National Golf Club) during ‪@TheMasters‬ golf tournament.
A fairway bunker that once sat to the right of the landing area was removed after the 1952 Masters, making this the only hole at Augusta National that does not have a single bunker.
