Sports is the best thing we created, as a society. There's nothing like it. Absolutely beautiful. This moment, right here, of Tiger's redemption after a monumental fall from grace is one of the best in history.
Thankful to come up as a young man with TIGER coming on the scene! Watched you for over 20 years, I used to live for golf. Almost a daily habit, until injury and substance abuse problems took over. The best champion of this generation, there won't be another for a long time to come. TY Tiger and hopefully you can win 3 or 4 more!!
i don't blame him for the substance abuse, back pain is nasty one of the worst places to get pain and all the drugs he was taking were to help him with either the pain and to sleep during the pain, but he's back now, that's all that matters, hopefully he can bring back the championship next month.

I've celebrated a lot of sports moments as a fan. But this...snot bubbles, tears, whoops, and that was just in my living room. Like so many, Tiger introduced me to golf. I learned to play by reading his book and practicing in the front yard. I watched everything from 97 on, and no matter what he went through, I loved and rooted for him. What he gave all of us, especially I hope himself, that day will forever remain in the top 10 sports moments of all recorded history. And what better line could announce than "the return to glory".
Although I am by no means a golf fan, I will never forget as long as I live sitting in a restaurant and watching grown men, black and white, crying, cheering, applauding and shaking hands with total strangers when we watched him win. Everything stopped to watch that final shot. It was unreal. And when he walked up and hugged his little boy, every Dad in the room suddenly started chopping onions.
Woke up from the other side of the globe with this news. Congrats Tiger! You make Asians watch golf because of you, even those who don't play the game . Two years ago you cant even putt in your backyard because of your back injuries and can hardly swing a club. What an amazing comeback and an incredible story of passion for the game of golf. More power and more to come!
The ‘97 Masters is obviously when he announced his arrival. The ‘00 U.S. Open was the peak of his dominance. His chip-in on 16 in the ‘05 Masters was the iconic example of his ability to pull off the most incredible shots under pressure. The ‘08 U.S. Open was the ultimate testament to his toughness and will to win. But this will always be my favorite Tiger moment.

Greatest comeback in sports history. A year later still watching this clip and it never gets old. Nobody has had to go through the types of struggles that Tiger Woods dealt with. From how much trouble he got in to all the injuries he had, most certainly also his 2019 Masters run will be one of the most improbable tournament runs in sports history as well.
Best part was watching his son walk with him with that look that every great dad brings out in their son...reverence and awe. Charlie was like, "THAT'S MY DAD!" So cool.
Coming back to this after #82. I remember at the time that Faldo and Nanz were criticized by some for being a bit over the top in the commentary. I've always been a 'Tiger guy', but even I thought it might have been a bit much at the time (even though I had goosebumps like everyone else). But watching it again now months later, and getting teared up seeing him hug his kids. Yeah, I think maybe they were right in the end. It'll be hard to top this singular sporting moment in time, at least for the game of Golf.
I was in my Durango with my two boys driving home from my eldest son's provincial basketball tournament in Mississauga, Ontario where he and his team battled to win a bronze medal. We listened to this moment on Sirius/XM. I will never forget and be forever grateful that I was able to share with them. The greatest comeback in sports history.
Yep this is an instant legendary call and his "a win for the ages" call is about as classic as it gets. Fitting those are my favorite two calls in golf ever and it was on tiger's first masters win and this one, arguably the greatest comeback story in sports. Couldn't hope for a more classic call at a moment like this.
As long I live, I’ll never forget standing there to see this happen. No photos, of course, to remember with but always a story I get to tell over and over and over. Lucking out in the lottery on Sunday badges was a dream come true, but this topped it!
As a die hard Steelers fan. This blows the ‘08 super bowl out of the water for me. Nothing will ever give me the same feeling I got when I watched tiger do this. This will be the greatest moment in sports for a very very long time.

What. A. Moment. So glad I was able to watch that live. I’m a teenager and I had never seen Tiger win anything prior to this, only heard stories from my dad about how he was such an amazing golfer. Watching this had me standing in my living room. Absolutely incredible, and a piece of history I’m glad I was able to experience. I really hope he gets better soon. Would be amazing to see him come back after his injuries and win another.
So many have come and gone in so long since this has happened that it was long over due and it’s so great to see Tiger winning again. All the pain and suffering. All the setbacks. All the top 10’s without winning. We knew that PGA Tour Championship was setting up for something but I never knew winning a end-of-season tournament could be so rewarding. The ultimate way to complete the ultimate comeback. The greatest comeback in the history of American sports. Welcome back, Tiger. We missed you. From how much trouble he got in to all the injuries he had, most certainly also his 2019 Masters run will be one of the most improbable tournament runs in sports history as well.
Tears in my eyes this is the best moment in sports history no debate
Who else watching this in quarantine :(
Me man, really missing the Masters this year. Be well...
Same. Right here with the family, wishing there was golf, but more than happy to watch this again (and again, lol).
Haha. You know it
Man, its been a year since he won and watching this 4 minute clip is still almost enough to bring a tear to my eye.
not really a golf fan but this is one of my most favorite moments in sports still makes me emotional
I will never not smile when I watch this. Four minutes of ultimate redemption.
I was absolutely in tears watching this as it happened on CBS. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Best part was watching his son walk with him with that look that every great dad brings out in their son...reverence and awe. Charlie was like, "THAT'S MY DAD!"
So cool.
Man...what his day was like when he went to school the next day.
Try to beat His Show and Tell...
Absolutely amazing...almost seems like a movie that was scripted...so surreal
CTK1201 my dad won the masters yesterday. That’s it that’s the show and tell. Beat that losers.
LOL 😂 Really!
Tiger is back..! 🐅🔥🔥🔥
What do u mean hes been back
@@Charles13033 A+!!! JajajajaJAh 👽👻🛸⚠️
I can watch this forever! Congratulations Tiger!!!
Sorry I doubted you, Tiger. But I never thought I would see this day. Absolutely amazing comeback; weaker people would have quit along the way.
This hits different today
I was in my Durango with my two boys driving home from my eldest son's provincial basketball tournament in Mississauga, Ontario where he and his team battled to win a bronze medal. We listened to this moment on Sirius/XM. I will never forget and be forever grateful that I was able to share with them. The greatest comeback in sports history.
Took on golf in 2012 and this was my first time seeing Tiger win a major live on tv. I shedded a few tears.
Jim nantz's call gives me chills. One of the best in the business right now
Yep this is an instant legendary call and his "a win for the ages" call is about as classic as it gets. Fitting those are my favorite two calls in golf ever and it was on tiger's first masters win and this one, arguably the greatest comeback story in sports. Couldn't hope for a more classic call at a moment like this.
One of the greatest comebacks in the history of sport's
Brings a tear to a glass eye. Tiger Woods is the🐐 of all sports legends imo. We're lucky to have had him as a contemporary in our lifetime 🫶💎🇮🇪💯
As long I live, I’ll never forget standing there to see this happen. No photos, of course, to remember with but always a story I get to tell over and over and over. Lucking out in the lottery on Sunday badges was a dream come true, but this topped it!
Welcome back, Tiger
If that ain't worthy of an ESPY for Comeback of the Year, I don't know what is!
TBH, the Blues rise from worst to champions was more worthy.
I really don't think that I will ever get tired of watching this for at least the next twenty years!
As a die hard Steelers fan. This blows the ‘08 super bowl out of the water for me. Nothing will ever give me the same feeling I got when I watched tiger do this. This will be the greatest moment in sports for a very very long time.
Tiger Woods:
15 Major Wins
81 PGA Tour Wins
41 European Tour Wins
Jack Nicklaus:
18 Major Wins
73 PGA Tour Wins
9 European Tour Wins
Vonik 81+41?
AMAZING
Jim Cheseborough tigers WGC wins are also European Tour tournaments with pga tour and majors also count
Vonik jacks comeback impacted golf fans. Tiger impacts all. Bigger and better.

1997 Masters: Tiger hugs his dad, 2019 Masters: Tiger's son hugs him!!! What a great moment
Still possibly the best 4 minutes of my sports fan life.
I'll never tire of watching this. Greatest moment in golf, no, sports history.
And just think his father made it all possible great parents who recognized his talents go Tiger
His father taught him well...what a golfer. Apparently he taught him a few other of his “life skills” as well. Great parents...hmmm...how much do you know about them? Read much?
MrMistrEnigma everything you “read” doesn’t make it the truth.
@@JCR1992 you mean Tiger didn't actually cheat on his wife?
fullnelson9999 of course he did. But cheating on his wife also doesn’t mean every story that came out is true. I don’t understand how people can’t comprehend that.
@@JCR1992 you said "everything you read doesn't make it the truth". Yeah? In regards to what exactly?
I literally in tears watching this..... YEAAAHHHH THE TIGER IS BACK !!!!!!!!!!
man i could watch this video 1000 times over. absolutely fantastic
this always brings tears to my eyes.. GO TIGER!!!!
“The Whole Euphoria of Everything”!!! Well played Mr Faldo
If you listen closely, you can hear him say "Mama, we did it". Someone sliced yet another onion, pls stop it 😢
Yeah I heard that one. That was just pure raw emotion.
Being here was Probably the greatest Sporting event I've ever been too. It was absolutely electric. People were Crying, Screaming, Laughing, Everything.
This is something I’ll never forget watching. I was glued to the TV from Thursday to Sunday. The GOAT no debate
What. A.
Greatest moment in sports history. Not just golf...sports history
Never before has 11 years felt like forever and never will it again. TIGER WOODS IS BACK!!!!!
This is so wholesome. I'm not a big fan of golf but this is just beautiful.
Well said
Tiger woods you truly deserve every single second every single moment that’s a very very precious memory of all times getting emotional as I texting all I waiting on now is tiger on the game again for one last time
Cant wait to for this same type of comeback in 2022 after he overcomes another challenge after breaking his legs in a car crash, tiger will win again. I’ll come back to this comment when he does 🐐
I’m with you brother let’s gooooo
I believe too!
You will come back here brother. There is no doubt. The GOAT will return
Man as a young man who’s whole life was soccer basketball and ended his love for those sports after quitting in college and giving up and then find a new love for a sport because of watching old highlights of this man and to see his emotion and fight to win after so many downs really tears me up bro. Unreal 🐐 legend
I've watched this possibly as many as 10 times and it has brought me to streaming tears each and every time!
