Yeah but Steve McQueen doesn't like to listen, does he? If you've ever gone to a Q and A with him, he just rambles, misses points and is dismissive of other people's questions. Afua Hirsch hosted the last Q & A he was at and she would ask question, make a point and he would just simply repeat her point. He was also contradictory at a q & a for Blitz when he said that art can be transformative but when a speaker asked him his thoughts on whether he would do a film about Palenstine/Israel conflict, he was very dismissive and condescending to her by saying that he would not look to make art out of conflicted and that he just wanted 'peace'. Weird, contradictory guy.
