I totally agree with you. This product has been around for over 2 decades! I had a wave nouveau in the 90s and then again around 2001, it was great then. Now I just use it on my natural hair. If I had known I could just use it on natural hair, I would have gone natural decades ago! I give it 200%.
I used this product when I transitioned from perm, to natural. I never did a big chop I just did a roller set for at least 3 months using this product every step of the way. I had taken out micro braids and my hair was damaged quite a bit. I used this to rejuvenate my hair and the rest is history. FF 16 yrs and I am using this product again after washing my hair with the wrong shampoo and flat ironing my hair like crazy. My ends are fried and dried but I know this product will save the day.
Hi! Thanks for the video. I've just started using this product. It defines the curls nicely, so I never have to twirl my hair around my fingers, which I find annoying to do. My only problem is that this finishing lotion is extremely greasy. Once I put it in, it stays soft but I can't touch it at all (ever) without having to thoroughly wash my hands afterward. Is that because I'm using too much?
Hiii! 👋👐You could try using less to see if it makes a difference or if, you're applying the product daily, reapply less frequent. For me, a little bit goes a long way. I only need a dime or quarter size about if I'm reapplying. For initial use after my hair is dry from washing it I sectioned it and applied the product to each section and it was so replenishing that I would go 3 days- a week a without reapplying.
This is all I used and it worked great with my hair by itself and my budget. I was going for moisture because my hair was so dry. I noticed that it works better when I section my hair.
Is there a gel you recommend? When I used aunt Jackie's gel with it it flaked so I haven't tried gel with it since figuring gel wasn't compatible with the wave nouveau lotion
@@Mrs_Canary Agree! I used it yesterday with Wetline and I'm blown away. The Wetline removes the tacky feeling. There is no crunch...just a very light hold. I can easily manipulate my hair to style it.

I just used it yesterday but I put Wetline Extreme gel on top of it. My hair dried without the sticky residue and easy to manipulate for styling.
Thanks for this.
All glory to God 🙌

hello is this all you used on your hair or did you use the Wave Nouveau kit

@@tasalinaturalsthirtyandsin3234 Does this product work in the winter months?
@@chocolateme7731 yes!!!! It does.
@@elementsofvirtue Thanks for responding to my question.
U gonna have 2 use gel on top of that lotion.

@@tasalinaturalsthirtyandsin3234 try wetline...no alcohol in it.
@@Mrs_CanaryCan you use a hair mousse like lottabody with this wave nouveau product ?
@@Mrs_Canary I would use wetline with caution. At least 1 that I know of contains sodium hydroxide-the main ingredient in lye relaxers

I like the look of this on natural hair. I personally do not like the wave nouveau perms. The WN curls just look overprocessed..
