    My second unit would include the washer dryer, a second bathroom, guest room, storage, and office space.

    Thanks Lou for the enthusiastic walk through. I've come to the conclusion that tiny homes appeal to people who do not want to say they live in a mobile home, and they are willing to pay more while getting less square feet as long as they get a higher end more designer like look. I'm guessing this was built to HUD standards rather than RVIA standards. Its cute, although I don't like the bathroom location trapping people on either side. This is great for the non-conformist buyer, but for the likely cost of ~ $180,000 probably most people will buy a small double wide.

    I’ve been watching tiny house videos since 2013 and this is the most beautiful to me. Gorgeous!!! I’m hoping to transition from house to tiny in the next five years or when I find a tiny house community for me. Unfortunately I can’t financially obtain this but I look forward to the little bungalow that’s good for me.

    Lou, great tiny house! I would put the kitchen and bathroom together, living room and bedrooms together. Just in case of fire … be able move the most expensive part of the house.

    Don't worry Lou, I'd be gushing too because wow, this is just lovely! Nice and bright, and so roomy.
    Love all of that outside space, it had my mind going on how I'd modify it for all my wants and needs, I'm talking endless possibilities.
    Also the black, white, and wood just work together so beautifully. I'm a huge fan of that butcher block as well, how could you not is the question, lol.
    The tile work that the homeowners had put in is absolutely gorgeous, I am absolutely in love with it, so dainty and pretty, it just shines. It's the jewel of the house.
    Thanks for yet another great tour, it's a winner! And please never apologize for being proud of what you do, and that is creating beautiful houses, and wonderful places to call home 💝🏡🎊

    This is gorgeous. Probably the nicest tiny home I've ever seen. I want this home haha. I agree on making the loft standing height. That would make it perfect! That living area, kitchen and bathroom are just chefs kiss 😘

    4:24 it would be better to have the refrigerator built up on a drawer so that it’s easier to access both spaces. Unless you’re trying to hide things from kids and pets.

    Did y'all slide the bigger house into the little one a bit? Look at the roof that's what it looks like. That was done on site right? I've only seen 1 other like this and they had a hard time doing it and this one is way better then the other. This is beautiful, will done. I would make the living room a little bigger. But it's perfect the way it is. I also thought more bedrooms. Great job!

    I love all of the features, but there's something missing: it's - well - bland. There's no soul to it. When outside something should tell you that it's a residence. Maybe colour alone would do it. I'm not sure. Normally you would be able to make sense of the house by the placement of the doors and windows. But the front door doesn't pop - the eye isn't drawn anywhere in particular. But I don't want to belabour this point. The interior is lovely. I especially like the butcher block counter and the barn door. They're a big space saver in a tiny home. The house really doesn't have the feel of a tiny home though. The main part of the house is very open and spacious. It's not cut up into sections, and this open concept in no way makes you think you're in a tiny home. Lovely.

      I agree, and I think it has too many doors. I would for sure eliminate the door at the end of the living room, and create some room for an easy chair.

    Is the tiny house 10 feet wide? Beautiful design overall.What was the total cost? Did TMH also build the decks?

    • @ZeoCyberG
      @ZeoCyberG 2 роки тому +3

      He said interior width was 8' 8", which should put the exterior dimensions close a little below 10'... Doesn't mention costs or exact dimensions and they apparently aren't answering any questions on any of their social media sites... Being a WA based builder and doing 2 large units combined, for nearly 600 sq ft, counting the loft, should be well over $100K, though... A similar size ADU can be over $200K...

    • @katashley1031
      @katashley1031 Рік тому

      @@ZeoCyberG if you want an estimate contact them directly. It's a small family business, presumably they spend their time on that and not doing Q and A on social media.

    • @raineyday9066
      @raineyday9066 Рік тому +1

      If you're in the kitchen/living area you will not be able to access the bedroom if someone is using the toilet. There should've been a a separate bathroom door, or better yet, they should've reversed the bathroom and bedroom locations so you didn't have to walk through the bathroom to reach the bedroom/office.

    • @marsha6549
      @marsha6549 Місяць тому

      That's the only bathroom on first floor. You have the barn door that closes and the light grey door with round handle that also closes,which leads into the bedroom/office.

    Even he says for a tiny house this is huge - I mean this is the biggest look I have ever seen for 399 square feet. Oh it's not 399sf? Hmmm why do "TinY houses need to be no more than 399 square feet for you to place them legally on any property? Does being larger than that change anything? Oh it does? from permitting to taxes?? I mean it's a gorgeous home but it's not in way, shape or form a Tiny House. #tinyHouseGeeks - Next issue is price - great finishes but can you do this for under 100K? I doubt it... not just any small alternative fits the spectrum of what it means to live tiny.

    • @kenpotter9607
      @kenpotter9607 Рік тому

      I'm fairly certain if you got just the dwelling and added all the fixtures and appliances yourself, you could accomplish this same square footage around 100K or so, BUT it would not be nearly as nice. Also, you would have to account for the cost of the land.
