      @bidenwearsdiapers4026 Місяць тому +15

      If you click the link it provides the base price and allows you to build one to your liking. Moreover, it all depends on what your definition of “outrageously high” is. Under Brandon’s economy everything is outrageously high. And, you get what you pay for. If you want a $30k home, then go buy yourself a single-wide. Or spend months building a tiny home yourself.

    The only thing I would change on this fantastic Tiny House- standard size stackable washer & dryer-all in one units are “notorious” for “excessive” drying times. Would love some space for “seasonal” jackets, another area for hanging clothes. Definitely a “keeper”!👏

      Some of it is nice but this is probably not affordable living. The pull out trash needs to be closer to the sink. I don’t care for the table snack bar. It looks like quality work.

    Really great floorplan and use of space, I would tweak it for our families needs - I would have a 1/1/2 bath, with one bathroom with a shower and tub and the other just a powder room with sink and toilet. The rest of the space is pretty darn good.

    Nice. Finally, single living 2 bedroom! I would do some customization but the biggest change: can you pull out the 2nd bathroom and make that a full second bedroom? Plus, those vanities are soooo small full-time living, and the sink is not what you need either, but I assume that could be customized to some degree? Your kitchen has nicely higher end appliances but that medicine cabinet looks very cheap in comparison. Just my thoughts.

    This home has excellent features! Just several easy alterations on placement meets preferences for retired couple's downsized lake home.
    1. Full bath is a centered walk-thru to the bedroom (shower across from sink & toilet---a pocket door to kitchen side, another pocket door to bedroom side). This opens kitchen wider to outer walls & no nude hubby scenes in the kitchen 😮😊 to go from shower to get dressed in more spacious bedroom where wardrobe is---he's a no robes guy 😂).
    2. Stackable W/D space, with narrow broom closet.
    3. Kitchen layout as center walk-thru galley. Fridge moved to where shower was before, tall wide pantry next to it. Insert for microwave at middle of this tall pantry on granite shelf, instead of above cooktop (cutting boards or trays stashed beside microwave).
    4. Second bedroom perhaps half bath, & no built-in closet (may allow space for full size mattress, with freestanding tall armoire & under bed drawers).
    5. Flip up/wall hinged regular height dining table & folding or stack chairs that are indoor/outdoor use (dining on the deck & such).
    6. Fireplace & tv on wall adjacent 2nd bedroom, since full bathroom reconfigured to make kitchen open galley (corner wall is now gone and end cabinet now there is depth of the pantry next to fridge). Probably no sectional, standard sofa with storage below, placed across from entry door. Now fireplace and tv are fully viewable from the kitchen 👏).

    Craftsmanship is lovely. Nice materials and great style-wise but its too narrow to live in for the long term. Very little countertop in the kitchen. Not practical and too tiny, cramped, and stressful on the mind. One bedroom would improve the situation. Making it at least 11 feet wide would give breathing room and a sense of space. Please don't try to squeeze 2 rooms into the width.

  • @julieolson1646
    @julieolson1646 25 днів тому +2

    I would add 2 more feet to length to get a better bathroom sink and cabinet. Maybe also to add some breathing room? There’s no place to hang coats or put shoes by front door. Change table to accommodate 2 people, with a hinge to drop it down.
    For myself, I hate counter seating, I’d rather it be table height. That cabinet to left of fridge could also be a pull-out pantry or like it is now but take out the coffee nook and do top door, bottom door where inside is shelving with pull out drawers. You also need a small broom closet somewhere…or at least a place to put a vacuum, broom, with an electrical outlet. Perhaps open the kitchen up by taking the bathroom and put between kitchen and second bedroom and make tiny bedroom for kids or could be an office. 2 feet added can do a lot of good.

It looks like you're doing high quality work with very nice finishes. I think it's just beautiful. I wish you would tell us where you got the couch-it is PERFeCT. My main complain with most tiny home builders is there is zero living space in the home. This has the perfect area to sit together and watch a movie or just visit after dinner. Well done! The bathroom sinks are really nice looking but look totally inconvenient. I would rather have a larger sink with a little bit of counter, even if it meant floating it on the wall so that the counter overhang towards the toilet area. I would also give up the second bath shower for more space For storage or more room in that back bedroom and just have it be a half bath. Or put the washer dryer in that shower space. Giving you more room for the master bath. The only other thing I would change is swap the fridge raider down to the end where the garbage can is and put that storage next to the stove with a little bit more counters, instead of the insert inside the cupboard shelf and electric oven I would also turn the couch around facing the window. Creating more of a separate room with a short end going into the corner of the room that way you get a better angle for the TV and you can see out the window.

    Nice exterior and second bedroom option.
    I would Loose the kitchen counter/dining area
    and Put fireplace and TV set there, on swivel...

    I wish the sink was all the way to the right, so there would be more counterspace by the range.

    I think the second bath could be just a toilet and sink at the other end. Otherwise beautiful

    It’s nice and looks way bigger than 390sqft my only thing with tiny homes is you still have to purchase land to put the house on if you’re not lucky enough to have family with acres or trying to put it in the yard of a home you already have to rent out the main house. Cost seems to add up to hundreds of thousands anyway. This was a great option until it became a fad.
