I love your videos and how you and your team always make it right and how you show the home owners what is all wrong. You and your team can always come do mine😊. Thanks for all you and your team do for all home owners. Cause I can understand what all home owners are going through cause right now I'm going through something similar to there's.
Just guessing but I would imagine he records at that speed to circumvent copyright if he slowed it down to anything approaching 'normal' the YT algorithm would recognise it and he would get a strike.
Hey, Make It Right Mike & Team. Love, Love, Love Your Channel, & Team. The way you educate ; Home Buyers, Home Owners, Future Inspectors, etc... Wonderful! I've lived in Nicaragua, for the pass 23 years. Built, my beach House and Permanent home. Needless to say, both have problems. We've been having to fight my wife's cancer since December 2021. Taking her back to the hospital tomorrow morning. Surgery, 8 rounds of chemo, 36 rounds of radiation, (18 upper body & 18 lower body) now she just finished her first of 6 more chemo's. . She's 65 I'm 63 & We've been married for 41 years. Just need some advice on plumbing, & venting of the main house and keep the bats out of my beach house. I want to make it right!
Or replace it with shitty gas one. Yes cracks inte flute are a issue, but just take it apart and replace tiles that were damage, put it back together and it works for ages again, with readily available fuel. Wood fire is always best source of heat, long as you know what you are doing and dont have gas pocket under your house so you cannot just tap into your own gas field, witch is unlikely. Buuut when you need instructions not to put cat into microwave.. yeah fire and fireplace might be too difficult of a concept..
Not in Ontario. That's the problem: there's no home inspector licensing required in Ontario. In other words, you and I can go tomorrow to the city hall, pay $25 fee and get a piece of paper saying we're home inspectors. And I don't know about you but I have nowhere near the requires level of knowledge. So, the next time you want to hire a "home inspector", ask yourself if this is the guy who perhaps only two weeks ago was selling parsley at a grocery store, and maybe a couple of month from now will be running a forklift in the Amazon warehouse.
@@robrob5419There is an international society of home inspectors. In the US there is an affiliated organization and a separate US-only one. Other countries may also have certification society not affiliated with the international one. These societies offer classes, and you get certified. Insist on certification.
Mike is a big tall guy. I know his bio says he's 6'4" but he looks taller. I'm 5'1" I think I would look like a little kid next to him. I would love to meet him.
Who recommends so-called property inspectors? Realtors do. Who has an interest in selling the house? Realtors. Would a realtor recommend an inspector who killed a sale by reporting problems? What are the qualifications for a so-called home inspector? Why are there so many disclaimers in a real estate inspection report? Who buys a house loaded with visible, cheesy, do-it-yourself owner modifications? Holmes does a great job, but these gullible, ignorant buyers need to educate themselves and be more diligent.
I hired an outside inspector. But for $350 he saved me thousands in repairs that had to be done before closing. But I still had several electrical issues and plumbing issue later on that required about $10K in repairs. You got to expect expenses when owning a home yet people will sink everything into a mortgage they can't afford.
Its such a catch 22. You cant afford a new house so you buy an older home with some"problems". then yiu find out these problems are way more expensive and extensive than you thought and now your screwed. Its almost always better to rip it all out and start over but thats also the most expensive and time consuming option. Im trying to decide whats harder. Finding a good and reputable car mechanic or general contractor?
It always amazes me when I see guys routinely doing demo work barehanded without gloves.

I LOVE MIKE HOLMES YOU DO IT RIGHT ALL THE TIME ❤❤❤
UA-cam channel owner: Your record speed is TOO FAST.
Just guessing but I would imagine he records at that speed to circumvent copyright if he slowed it down to anything approaching 'normal' the YT algorithm would recognise it and he would get a strike.
Set playback speed to .75 to compensate. It will play at normal speed then.
@Terry Prothero it works thanks
@@TerryProthero LOL I thought my hearing went bad. All the episodes are on speed. I am 68 years' old.

Loved the show
Incompetent. Can the inspector be reported to the society of inspectors if there is such a thing?

A window latch can be purchased very cheaply.
Him: " I play musical instruments."
Mike to her: " Do you play any instruments?"
Her: " No, I belly dance."
That explains Madison. LOL
if you are wondering why its so fast, just set the speed to 0.75 and this made it normal speed for me
I turn the speed to 75%

Not only are they nice but they are all so attractive

Home Inspectors need to act as if they are buying the Home. Come On, you can do better. Take some pride in your work.
if I am lucky enough to get my house done, can I avoid tv coverage, I am a little native woman, preserving my quietness........

I don’t understand why the inspector didn’t catch all this?
He was a ripoff artist.
Ugh, MDF. Why MDF? Why?
Mike my dad would have liked you
It so funny seeing them put uninsulated ducts with philips head screws. Lol. These northerners are funny.
Who can talk the fastest. Lol
they're all uploaded this way play at .75 speed
Bad audio/video quality and it looks and sounds like the video is at a higher speed than normal. It only looks and sound like normal speed at 0.75
Audio sucks not sync!!!
It's speed up a bit in an attempt to fool the copy write algorithm.
