Respecting the privacy of DMs goes out the window as soon as the other party starts lying.
So yes Dodo was caught lying and deleted his message to Doublelift on discord. This Dodo guy should not be trusted, Doublelift leaked so much shit over the years, Doublelift can’t keep a secret for shit.
Also it was reported a player on TL wanted to play with Doublelift again, the only player who played with Doublelift at the time that was on TL was Corejj. So the answer was obvious.

Dodo can like DL and respect him as a player, while also considering him a bad option for Team Liquid's roster build - and that goes doubly so if Doublelift is insistent on so much roster control. Jojo was demanding a king's ransom and replacing CoreJJ with Busio is an extremely questionable pivot.

@@jamesde4428Compared to CoreJJ, Doublelift's current form is probably worse, and comes with the baggage of incredibly poor game sense. As much as people criticize TL this split, that same core of players absolutely smashed Doublelift's 100T in playoffs.

A lot of people I think are missing the point. The point isn't that TL would have been the dream team winning every game if DL got his "superteam" or whatever. The point is that Dodo is a liar and a backstabber who doesn't have the balls to tell someone straight up that they won't be considered for the team, instead they act like everything is fine but in the dark sabotage everyone to do what think think is "right".
Still sad LS didn't join Flyquest as a coach

IDK bro, not sure if Fudge mid was the perfect roster lol. I think the current Fly roster is a better fit for LS tbh. I understand why he has perma bowwed out of caoching tho, burnt too many times@@White__Ink
@@farmersam3011fudge seems very overrated and pretty two faced too. He was willing to fo what ls said and understood he essentially has little future on his own because he isn't that good or liked either so he latched on to get soft associated with ls. Think any mid laner with a brain can play enchanters mid but then play carries too which fudge never really could.
Just sucks how bad ls got screwed over because he isnt a pussy.
It's so dumb cuz ls brought viewers to na for the first time in years and could have revolutionized the scene with his coaching and drafting. C9 is dead to me for how they scapegoated him.

Double lift is just filled with drama now, no manager or esport would want him on there team. He will just spill information or create drama when his play isnt even top tier anymore. Not worth the drama or the money. Doublelift is just always salty

Maybe they're BFF's or something, I don't know, but it's just not the normal way a Mid-laner would make a decision like where to play.
That's why I say I could see him saying he won't play with DL, but insisting on playing with Berserker just didn't pass the smell test to me. Doesn't mean I'm right, I could easily be wrong, I don't know these guys.
They're all young, too, which makes it even harder to guess what they'd do.

Dodo shouldn't lie. DL shouldn't always release so many private messages. Neither are in the right. Which seems to be the theme with a lot of LoL drama.
I mean privacy is fine until you start bullshitting. If someone is making public statements that you’re a liar, not just saying he’s a liar in private, and people talking about it and rumors and such, but publicly calling him a liar, why would he not share evidence that he isn’t a liar? Seems ridiculous to say DL is in the wrong.

It’s getting harder and harder to name a more iconic duo than Doublelift and off-season drama. Still loses out to TSM failing internationally though.
I don’t get what the big deal is. The GM didn’t want DL, for good reason, and DL would not have been any better off for having DL, most likely worse off, so this is a lot to do over nothing.
I watched the DL video and in it, he admitted he didn't try the hardest the last time he was on the team (2020 spring - 9/10 place) and also threw Dodo under the bus. So I can understand why Dodo didn't want DL on the team again. And let's be honest here, he's so fucking washed. What Dodo said is kinda uncalled for but I'm glad Jojo isn't jailed for another split.
DL has always been in drama and the center of attention wherever he goes since like 2012 lol. Hard to ignore that fact. Skill to brand risk ratio doesn't add up for him and never has. Amazing he's still being talked about to this day but the fact he is shows there's no talent in NA and it's a dead scene. That all being said, Dodo is clearly exposed here.
doublelift needs to retire off the pro scene and just go under a rock
