Terelj National Park, about 2 hours away from the capital Ulaanbaatar: I wanted to leave the city and visit rural Mongolia. I booked a nice place for a few days where I was able to stay in a traditional Mongolian tent. The scenery around was stunning! I then had 3 action-packed days, full with adventure and amazing experiences, including being invited by a real Mongolian nomad family that lives in the most remote place I have ever been. If you ever happen to travel to Mongolia, I can highly recommend to stay a few days here in the Terelj National Park.

Wow, Ken! Thanks for visiting our country. It was great to see you enjoy almost everything about it. Actually, that dog sledding was amazing. I'd definitely check that out in the future myself lol. But that driving looked quite dangerous, and i agree with you on that one. Such a wild experience. We mongolians have the similar feeling as you had when you came to the camp in the fresh air. Wow, what a great video. What an honor to be invited into that family’s home. Those are really tough people to live in that environment. It’s so beautiful though. In that temperature though, don’t start unzipping your coat and taking off your gloves. Frostbite is real and you may be sweating and think you’re okay but that’s not really the case. Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed your trip to Mongolia. What a beautiful country and absolutely wonderful people. ❤️
You're so brave touching those dogs (not the sled dogs). If you go deeper into wilderness, domestic dogs angry and aggressive enough to fight several wolves alone to defend the livestock.
I imagine they are working dogs guarding the livestock from wolves.
@@deanzaZZR Yeah but they're quite tame. Dogs are so aggressive that they would scare off the horse so there is tradition where a visitor says "hold your dog" as a greeting.

You really should consider making a member channel for the real juice of behind the scene. I really would like going there to this remote places but one time when I visited some city in China, it’s not like a remote place at all, but the restroom stall… I couldn’t use the restroom. I didn’t use it the whole half day. It wasn’t nice… 😢 so how was it like when you sleep? How’s the time in between when you are not doing activities? Was it like boring or scary at night etc… wild animal attack? Haha for me I got intense scared when someone rang my door bell at the hotel which just happened yesterday lol 😂😂

When you travel in China again, would be interesting to see you visit Lhasa in Tibet. You can visit Dali City and Lijiang first and ask your hotel for Tibet tour information. Train tour, bus tour or flight tour. Foreigners need to get a Tibet permit. Probably late May early June will be a good time travel. Must avoid the weeks before and after the May 1-7 holidays.
Thank you, it felt like back home. Just as an info the locals wear cashmere, wool and such during winter so it’s warmer. Marino would work also. Actually we prefer cooler climates and we also wonder how ppl survive in hot humid conditions 😅

that breakfast food that you ate is actually for baby food that is starting to eat real food. And it's actually not common for people to make whole dishes for breakfast, it's resort place breakfast. And the bread that you talked about, we don't really call it bread. We eat that thing with really warm watery soup. Not the soup that's for babies. Overall breakfast is not really what most people would eat in their breakfast.
And that bread thing that you ate at the family far away, you said that it's more like bread and not like cookies. For us it is basically a cookie, most of our food doesn't consist of sugar that much. Like the salty tea. But yeah that would be our snack like cookies for different people. And most people eat that with salty milk tea in their breakfast.
