pretty sure i’ve said this before but I love how thorough your reviews are 🥺 PLUS your personality is literally like. a sparkling bright light. I love your content so much !!!
Hi Kait, this was super helpful! Your make up in this video and others is EXACTLY the vibe I’m going for- more on the natural side and still stunning. I’m just getting into make up. Can you do a tutorial on how you did this face/ other beautiful make up looks? Doing the eye area, particularly the lids for eyeshadow is very intimidating to me. Thanks for reading:)
Love the comment on the equally distributed shade range! :) I agree that it's important to appreciate the companies that do this, kudos to Saie esp on their first go - can't wait to see their further expansion! Also, I actually have been wondering about the cest moi tinted products and didn't expect it to be here because not a lot of people talk about it, thank you for comparing this to them too!!
You're welcome! Thanks for the support. I personally think Saie nailed the shade range way better than any other tinted mineral sunscreen I've seen. There are certainly tinted chemical sunscreens that have a wider range because they don't have the obstacle of formulating with white zinc, so I'm happy with Saie. The C'est Moi ones good because they do have darker shades than Supergoop ever had BUT only four is pretty limited.
Loved this review of the Saie Slip Cover! Your reviews are always so thorough and it was super helpful seeing it in different lighting too. And the comparison section was awesome, Kait! And Thumper!! What a good boy💛
Omg the 11:11 eyeshadows on you are so beautiful 😍😍 I also haven’t been too into foundations lately but it’s mostly what I own! I should go back to the tints that I have because your makeup at the end looks so gorgeous!
Oh thank you! I barely wear foundation anymore except for my favorite Lancome Teint Idole foundation stick because it's so easy to just add a little coverage where I need it. #sheerbase2020
So glad you did these swatches I actually bought today 3 and 4 and I'm waiting for them to come in the mail but I'm so glad I did because I'm probably going to mix them both get my perfect shade this video was so informative
Which sunscreen do you wear i just hate chemical sunscreen and prefer zinc ones but they make me dry out because i hv very dry skin . I just want tinted hydrating sunscreen to cover some skin because i m not the person of foundation 😢
I'm not sure what I used on that specific day but I usually wear more of a mattifying sunscreen underneath since the Slip Cover is quite dewy. Some of the ones I use are the Paula's Choice Super-Light Daily Wrinkle Defense, the Koa liquid sunscreen, the Ren Clean Screen, and the Inkey List mineral sunscreen.
Hi! I just ordered this in shade 2 and can’t wait to try it. Thank you for your review! May I please ask what additional makeup you used? Concealer, blush, bronzer and eyeliner. If any at all! You are radiating and I would love to incorporate a new products in my bag. Thank you!
Oh thank you! Which makeup look? The one where I'm doing the comparison in a black t-shirt or the one where my hair's down and I'm in a silk button down at the end?
@@elizabeththompson2183 Sure - I was wearing the Roen 11:11 palette on my eyes (no eyeliner), Fitglow lip serum in Gospel on my lips, physicians formula butter bronzer in light bronze, and the Hourglass At Night blush
Thanks! If you're referring to the clip of me in a black T-shirt and my hair up, I'm definitely wearing the Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerize in Oyster Pearl. My brows were probably the Elf Wow Brow in Taupe because that's my all-time favorite brow product, and the lip I think were just a tinted lip balm that wore off (I can't remember.)
@@StateofKait Yes, that's it. Thank you. Now, I just have to figure out where to get the Slip Cover in Europe. Hope it will be available at Cult Beauty soon.
I just "discovered" this brand. I think Allure had a best-of by its editors today and I immediately popped on YT to see the reviews. Thank you!! Also, a friend of mine owns a small bar/restaurant and we debated 100 banana-leaf wallpapers before he chose one. I am obsessed with your wall! Looking forward to checking out more of your videos and trying Slip tint #3. Love how sheer and natural it is! This no-makeup girl just might be a convert! (And yay doggies!!!) :)
I heart Thumper! So glad you posted this-I’ve been wondering about this product. I really like their lipglosses (I think you do, too?) and also their lilac highlighter and the super gel primer (I think this is like 90% of their products so I guess I’m a fan, haha).
Can you do a comparison of this versus the new Saie sunvisor sunscreen that just came out? P.S. You have a beautiful personality with a stunning face to match!😘
Thank you! Saie is supposed to send me the sunvisor sunscreen but I haven’t gotten it yet. From my friends reviews, I can tell you that the sunvisor sunscreen is completely different - it’s not a makeup item, it’s only tinted to not have an intense white cast. The slip tint on the other hand is a tinted moisturizer with pretty good coverage so it’s more of a makeup product
I have never heard of this brand before. Need to check it out. I have the same problem with makeup making my skin xtra oily as well. Also Thumper is so cute! Can I ask what breed is he or is he a mix?
I’m so glad I’m not the one who gets oily skin only when I wear makeup. It’s so weird!! Thumper is actually a wild dog. My boyfriend was in the military and found him in Afghanistan as puppy. We think he’s a mix of Kangal Shepherd, Afghan Kuchi, and Wolf
Do you know how the Saie skin tint shades compare for your skin tone using shade 2 or shade 3.5? Looking at Sephora's description for 3.5 it is for light to medium with golden undertones and doesn't look too much darker compared to 3...but 2 looks like may be too light? Thanks!
Sunvisor is true sunscreen and very thin, almost like a water gel texture. Slip cover is a hybrid of sunscreen and makeup - it's quite thick and feels heavy on my face. Both are extremely dewy.
Hello....I'm new! So, hello, When you are watching tinted moisturizers.in the middle of the video with your black top on, I'd love to know what is on your eyes and cheeks, please?! Thanks!!
Hi Lisa! I'm wearing the Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerize in Oyster Pearl and on my cheeks I'm not 100% confident but looking at the footage, I believe I'm wearing the Bare Minerals Bounce n Blur Blush in Mauve Sunrise
I really enjoy the slip cover, or slip tint now, I think they changed the name. I enjoy the texture and the skincare benefits, but I think it can be too dewy sometimes too. The good thing is, I'm able to get it to a satin enough finish with my translucent setting powder. Loved how you created chapters in the review too, it's a good one, as always (:
I can help! Go for bare minerals if you like a more lightweight texture or more sheer coverage. Go for Saie if you want better sunscreen protection or want more coverage

Omg finally swatches comparing 3 and 4!!! I almost got 4. But I better do 3! Although I think a tiny drop of 4 in 3 would be nice mixture!
Yep, I’m in between 3 and 4 so I end up mixing the two.

Curious to hear your thoughts on the new Supergoop CC Screen vs. the old CC cream and the other tinted options you showed here!
I really want to try the new CC cream. The problem is that I bought three backups of the old supergoop CC cream 😬

I don’t, sorry! I didn’t know they had a 3.5! When they launched this I’m pretty sure they just had whole numbers in the shade range
thanks for this review!!!
Anytime!
Do you have a review for the Supergroup CC Screen?
I don’t! haven’t tried it because the old one was so thick and heavy on me
@@StateofKait thank you for the reply!
What’s the difference between Slip cover and Sunviser in terms of finish?
Sunvisor is true sunscreen and very thin, almost like a water gel texture. Slip cover is a hybrid of sunscreen and makeup - it's quite thick and feels heavy on my face. Both are extremely dewy.
@@StateofKait Thanks!!
Which one of these tints are most cost effective?
Well C'est Moi is the most affordable but I'm not sure of the breakdown per oz. I don't really track that kind of info frankly.
