Chicken Nugget Vera is a pretty good venue, they have a capacity for 450 people. But yeah I have heard that only 10-50 people showed up

They were on Sub Pop at the time, and the record label had European connections. Also take into account that the band was doing a lot of their traveling at the time in cramped vans and was staying in cheap motels, or sleeping in their vehicle, and/or sleeping at fans' homes. On this tour in particular, the band was barely getting paid enough to eat and afford gas to get to the next gig. It was not a glamorous rock star type of tour. It was a super low budget punk rock tour.

TestMeatDollSteak Now that's legit! Of course I wouldn't expect the 'Bleach' tour be glamorous, although I do agree-with/believe-in the "super-low budget punk-rock tour', but they were doing their thing, and its pretty impressive that they were around the world so early.
