Amazons and Asgardians have the same problem...they both use spears and swords whilst the invaders use lasers
Asgardians use lasers. Then again when you are taking on a new god, modern weapons are helpful either.
Sure, Thor and Odin had super powers and Asgardian flying boats had guns, but the standard Asgardian infantry had a sword and a shield. When the Dark Elves stormed the Asgard throne room the palace guards were largely eradicated by the laser toting/grenade tossing Elves.

What makes me seriously respect the Amazons: The fact that the Amazons in the chamber; and the ones who broke the pillars KNEW it was a suicide mission. No hesitation. No questioning, they knew what was at stake and what had to be done.
Too bad that's all done away with how easily Steppy-boy just broke through a different wall, rendering their sacrifice completely pointless.

Madness. The Snyder Cut did a lot of things better. However, this scene wasn't one of them. Joss Whedon's chase is far superior, better-paced, more intense. In the Snyder Cut, this scene drags unnecessarily.

I saw the snyder cut and the other director who I won't mention his name messed up big time and watching the snyder cut the difference on s absolutely insane.
After watching the Snyder cut version of this scene, the Amazonians sacrifice doesn’t feel as heavy here. You can literally feel the weight and the despair in the moments the Snyder cut takes to let it sink in that these women gave their lives in what they knew was a suicide mission, which makes Steppenwolfes reappearance all the more terrifying. Here they don’t even give you a moment to process what just happened it instantly just cuts from the temple fight scene to the chase.

It's the same stuff as with Elves portrayal in games/books etc. They do not age like humans, they are somewhat "immortal", but still they can be killed like a mere human. They are just immune for ageing process.

This scene in snyder cut made steppenwolf look like a baddass. He was brutal and unforgiving and the amazons tried everything they had to stop him. I was in awe of how much was cut from the snyder cut. Such a shame

After watching the recent clip of Zack Snyder's Justice League. I'm pretty sure we're gonna see this scene again but with the Amazonians actually getting sliced in half and not just being bounced back in one shape.

3:00 this scene gaves me goosebumps the most in this whole scene. one of the amazonian saw the motherbox on the ground and she quickly threw her crossbow and dropped herself down to where her crossbow landed. then she catched the motherbox and threw the motherbox away but in a short distance and quickly shot the arrow that are tied with the motherbox in hoping that the motherbox would fly away far from steppenwolf and had to made a sacrifice in fashion even smile of hope before getting stabbed. thats a true soldier right there if this was real
The actress playing that warrior is Doutzen Kroes, former Victoria's Secret model. And she really can ride a horse well.

Strangely enough, after looking at some pictures of Steppenwolf in the comics, this version is a tiny bit more accurate. Does not change the fact that this version is ass though.

The Snyder Cut is also a bunch of reshoots and editing out of stuff that fans reacted negatively to the first time around. There's plenty of bad content in both versions that comes from Snyder, and it's a very poor indictment of Snyder that after a whole new edit and a massive reshoot budget they turned the movie from "not good" into "ehh, ok I guess?".

Tbh, only a few of them wore those types of costumes and the reason is obviously to show off their incredibly impressive muscle definition to highlight exactly how strong ad powerful they are and I appreciated every fucking second of that. Women need to see more of women with jacked af bodies.
Add to that that the fact that the Amazon women in the mid riff bearing armor are specifically the ones who irl are body builders, I think they got a great deal. Also, the ancient Greeks weren't exactly known for their love of covering up. Amd that's what the Amazon's are. Also, it draws a feeling of "this is Sparta" so, get over the skin. It's just skin. A woman with a midriff and legs exposed does not equate a sexual object unless she is being objectified in the eye of the beholder.

This scene was very underrated it shows you the sacrifice in their beliefs to protect their Homeland and the world this alone could have made the Amazon's a standalone movie.
This first sequence hyped me up, but then the movie falls apart.
You all speak the same thing for most of the scenes. Just admit that the movie was medicore that nobody asked for, quit nitpicking it...

I jump into the scene where they have to fight Superman, a bunch of people state that it was the only great scene, I jump to a video about the Amazonians defence, I find a bunch of people stating that it was the only great scene, I jump to a scene where JL fight the Parademons in the sewers, I find a bunch of people stating that's the only good scene the movie offered...
It's clear that people hate to admit that this movie was great one that disproved everyone's expections about it before coming out...

King Ozymandias i mean there were some really strong elements in this and bvs which shows that dc crossover movies have potential given the incredible source material but the problem is excution ,they need someone behind the camera who has a vision and is a good storyteller!
