Best mount in the business. Hands down, no debate. Lightweight, self level for innovation, rugged and great return to zero. I’ve got one on my Nightforce Atacr 1-8 for my SCAR 17. Absolutely epic.
I've had mine for 4 months now. Just put it on my Noveske N4 gen 3 build, and it is awesome. But most importantly it looks COOL! Can't wait to see the review.
Scope mounts need to come with indents that match up with little pegs on the scopes so we always get a perfectly level and straight mount up. Just my thought
A suggestion that I learned when I went through a full time 2 year gunsmith program, instead of Locktite use baseball pitcher's rosin. You can buy a bag dirt cheap at even Walmart. Just open it up and dip each screw in the rosin. I've been using this trick for over a decade and never had one come loose not even on lightweight bolt guns chambered in large calibers.
Bro I find where I want them for eye relief and then I use a carpenters pencil on the flattest surface underneath to “level” it. Lol then I tighten the screws in a “star” like I’m changing a tire and I’m done. The more time you spend mounting it the less time you have for taking pictures of it and looking cool
dudes. in case you haven't seen it, arisaka makes a scope levelling kit that makes mounting these types of scopes to a one-piece mount extremely easy. highly recommend it.
Great vid Mike. Couple tips from my experience: when using a bubble level for both scope and rifle, the reference point should be edge of bubble adjacent to hash mark as opposed to bubble between the hash marks. This is because when bubble is between hash marks, it has some "wiggle room". Also if you are having trouble with the bubble on the scope, another good way to level scope is hang a heavy object from a rope at distance, aka a plumb bob, and align vertical crosshair with rope. Regarding levels, the iphone has a great one in the compass app, and the level built into your brain works surprisingly well so dont be scared to trust it in a pinch.
Only use a torque measuring device/tool to tighten Fasteners, never loosen. Can mess up the tool and when you tighten fasteners the torque can be inaccurate. May say 50inch lbs or what ever but its not because its out of calibration due to using it to loosen fasteners Keep up the great vids, Love the Channel

Keep us updated about the Vudu, I'm thinking of getting one for my sweet new airsoft rifle, I've just got to talk my mom into letting me use her credit card.
Take string. Put small weight on one end. Hang from ceiling. Wait until it stops moving. Line crosshairs up with string since gravity and physics make it straight and tighten boots. Whalla. Done.
Spokane WA was my stomping grounds♡ its a shame rocky rococo's pizza, the only one one the west coast closed down due to covid. Also that indoor shooting range is what got me into shooting manny years ago
Excited to see the Vudu put through the paces. It's on my radar in a big way. 2 year warranty is a little disappointing, for that kind of money, but it seems to cover all the bases I'm looking to cover on an LPV Optic.
I'm not a gunsmith but I am definitely a perfectionist. I think knowing the mechanics of the job and the perimeters are the most important but most don't care to learn those things.
50 Stitches Steel when I was still learning and I couldn't do it by eye i used to use any two flat straight objects like files and go off that it works if you're too lazy to buy levels
The break on the CZ is louddddddd. Took that shit off after my brain moved during the 1st shot. Gonna bang those knucks on the scope mount when charging.
I personally use a Starett adjustable parallel and level it off the flat base on the scope and top of the scope mount. I don’t think it’s 100% perfect, but I think it’s better than bubble levels.
It's Patrick Bateman. Later in life he walked away from the NY 80s yuppie scene and joined the armed forces to clear his focus. He's now gone to wearing only the finest plaid shirts tucked up fully reciprocal inch thick sleeve cuffs. Now he recommends and fully satiates his image projection via well machined armaments, accessories, and equipment instead of Jean Paul Gaultier overnight bags, egyptian linen, Oliver Peoples glasses, or Huey Lewis and the News reviews.
Getting a trij 1-8 accupower and geisselle mount tomorrow to go on an all black sig virtus. Looking forward to simultaneously blowing my load and my mind as you did at 7:35. I'm as hard as a diamond in an ice storm right now
I've dropped several magazines on my bare feet, since I practice reloads in my silkies. Hurts like a bitch every time, therefore I was compelled to subscribe
GEISSELE MAKES THE BEST ENGINEERED PRODUCTS ON THE MARKET. BAR NONE. YOUR LUCKY AS SHIT TO BE FULLY SPONSORED BY GEISSELE. I JUST PAID $500.00 for the HK MR 762 A1 TRIGGER
Sharpshooters is the tits when it comes to indoor ranges! Been a few years since I've been home in Spokane but I know that'll be one of the first places I'm going. Gotta dig out that plaid
So which extend do you get with that mount so the rear of the optic is at the back or the charging handle? They have 3....... and why not mount optic THEN place on rifle... Frank Proctor does it that way.....
Just me but mounting rings and glass I just sand bag rifle. Hang string and line cross hair on string. Done it for years and I shoot out to a mile with 300 Norma mag. No need to complicate process. Also no need for fancy tools. Good torque wrench and piece of string lol. After that just take bolt or bcg out and have upper bagged. Look for small object through bore ideally 100m then dial scope. Always on printer paper at 100m no tools or gadgets.
Trying to buy my first optic… want to buy the swamp fox arrowhead 1-10x lpvo… was also gonna buy the hostile engagment mount made by swamp fox… do I buy the 30 or 34mm mount??? What is the difference?
I bought a rifle to operate as a DMR. I chose a Savage MSR 10 Long Range in 308. I plan on using a Bushnell lrts fde, 3×12×44. Ring wise I'll probably be going with vortex precision match rings. What are your views on this setup for the aforementioned application?
GT: Nick what matters?
Nick: ... money
GT: (whispers) looking cool
Nick: looking good
GT: (more intently) looking cool
Nick: looking cool
GT: Hell ye-(video ends)
I feel so special right now.
When you wake up and see daddy posted a video of the sexiest gun alive :)
Garand Thumb how much for one Geissele sponsored lap dance. Xx
Garand Thumb wet.🌊🍆
damn thats s sexy set up right thar! looking forward to your review on the bren!
GT, I appreciate your honesty when reviewing products you received for free. Not everybody is so upfront. Thanks.
Garland: Rifle... wait no pistol...
Nick: you can call it what you want
ATF: REEEEEEEEEEE
Is Geissele built to the same high standards as the NC Star mount that's currently on my rubber band gun? Please advise.
Richard Nance Yes! And as few people know Geisselle is an old Chinese word for, and I am paraphrasing here, "Wing Ding Dong, Banana, Bama, Bing-Bong"
Lolz!
The threads on this channel never fail to entertain me.
Scalarworks - Just turn my set screw to level me.

Flip that collar down, Elvis. The board of the Association of the Tacticool Flannel Wearers ruled against it.
I've had mine for 4 months now. Just put it on my Noveske N4 gen 3 build, and it is awesome. But most importantly it looks COOL! Can't wait to see the review.
Papa Garand Thumb is the reason I dont have tactical dingleberries anymore. Truly a God amongst men
I frequent Sharp Shooters indoor range. Great range, great folks, great times.

Glad to know that there is someone else out there as meticulous as myself when mounting scopes.

Gypsy Nipsy this video is about to help me take a huge shit
Classified Information I don't eat that shit
I thought it was just me, but I guess not. I definitely feel something brewing down there...

Your gonna love that bren. That is an awesome rifle. Extremely accurate.
I like how honest he is about his patreon page.
I was born in Spokane and I remember driving past that building all the time as a kid.
Grand daddy mounting? CLICK!
As someone else who is a 'Ryan K.', I had to thumb up your comment. Clearly you are a superior human being. Keep being awesome dude.

Oshit dat Geissele sponsorship. You in there now fam
Keep us updated about the Vudu, I'm thinking of getting one for my sweet new airsoft rifle, I've just got to talk my mom into letting me use her credit card.
Appreciate the walk through

Just found your channel and I’m really enjoying it - this video was very informative! - thanks for posting it!
Spokane WA was my stomping grounds♡ its a shame rocky rococo's pizza, the only one one the west coast closed down due to covid. Also that indoor shooting range is what got me into shooting manny years ago
I balanced my razor and American defense mount using two iPhones and the level app, lol.. seemed to work pretty good. 1moa at 200 yards.
Now that's an intro line I can relate to...ten fold...
Excited to see the Vudu put through the paces. It's on my radar in a big way. 2 year warranty is a little disappointing, for that kind of money, but it seems to cover all the bases I'm looking to cover on an LPV Optic.
I work in a gun shop and everyone brings me there stuff to "work my magic" I'm a perfectionist aswell haha
I'm not a gunsmith but I am definitely a perfectionist. I think knowing the mechanics of the job and the perimeters are the most important but most don't care to learn those things.
Would love to see a video talking about comms equipment eventually!!! radios headsets ect.

Garand Thumb 2017
Hey GT. You should do a video on shooting a stock/factory M4.
Well, my asshole is killing me, but I *finally* taught Foreigner what love is.
You can get Mason style bubble levels at any hardware store for a dollar or two
50 Stitches Steel yeah, but they're not tacticool. If a level isn't FDE it won't work properly.
50 Stitches Steel when I was still learning and I couldn't do it by eye i used to use any two flat straight objects like files and go off that it works if you're too lazy to buy levels
just got set for $2 at wally world. murica
As a Spokane resident grunt its cool to see the gun shop I drive by every day in the video may have to stop going to precision....cuz THOT life
This action that I take really helps him out quite a bit.
The break on the CZ is louddddddd. Took that shit off after my brain moved during the 1st shot. Gonna bang those knucks on the scope mount when charging.
Outstanding instructional information. 🐢🇺🇸🐢🇺🇸🐢🇺🇸
lol I’d noticed GT likes to get up close n personal for his eye relief, almost tongue reach so you can taste your optic 😆
Skip to 3:20 for content
MoreAmerican you need foreplay bro
Garand Thumb
Haha, true dat.
I personally use a Starett adjustable parallel and level it off the flat base on the scope and top of the scope mount. I don’t think it’s 100% perfect, but I think it’s better than bubble levels.
I'm gonna dress up as flannel Daddy for Halloween
Gorgeous firearm! Looks like an MK18 had a love child with a G36 😍
I mounted mine with eyeing everything on my lap reticle looks straight and to everyone else think title be good.
Lol. I like nicks answer "money"
Thank Hailey! His flannel is back. I feel safe again.
I was seriously questioning the validity of the last video.
Garandthumb is the man best tactical videos!
Setting up my first AR with my scope then daddy Garand drops a sizzling knowledge bomb right when I need it most.
ARYGATO SANDPIE-GARAND
Is he watching me or something he gets those intros spot on about me everytime
American defense mounts are also the bomb 💣

Hey thanks man its been such a long time since my real dad gave me a lesson on mounting.

If your from Spokane let's get some classes rolling!
I didn't know Geissele used torx fasteners. That's pretty cool.
My sisters cousin said that mount looks in the way of the charging handle and shim knows things about Czech clones of Belgian rifoles.
Great video!
If you put the gun in a vice it makes it a lot easier to level it
Thanks!
I fired the Vudu at SHOT 2017, and I will say it might be the only time an Ex USAF guy outshot a Former Marine at 100 yards, gotta say I was proud
gearhead works tailhook is probably the best "brace" I've seen for (cough) pistols
Just put one on my MPX and makes for a nice pisrif.
Daddy flannel back at it.
I was Navy, but from my guess, I’d say you are a PJ...
keep up the great work. Stay safe!
Reading the comments is almost better than watching the videos
I love SharpShooters. I bought my first suppressor there and I take my special lady friend there to shoot.
I've dropped several magazines on my bare feet, since I practice reloads in my silkies. Hurts like a bitch every time, therefore I was compelled to subscribe

Already bought a THOT Vaccine shirt! It goes perfectly with the tattoo of your face on my lower back.
Damnit he got me again with the intro. I drop my mags on my toes all the fucking time **LIKED
Hi Sir, do you still reccomend the Badger Condition 1 over the new Reptilia?
God I love this channel!
Why am I only watching GT's videos for the opening?
Head lamp reviews or recommendations?
Just me but mounting rings and glass I just sand bag rifle. Hang string and line cross hair on string. Done it for years and I shoot out to a mile with 300 Norma mag. No need to complicate process. Always on printer paper at 100m no tools or gadgets.
I dropped a steel mag on my foot in my living room the other day and thought that was how it was all going to end for sure.
You're like a kid in a candy store when at the shop.
Papa Thumb!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
why didn't you get the carbine version of there cz 805 bren???
4:46 Thank god for Scalarworks, this BS is for the birds!
Trying to buy my first optic… want to buy the swamp fox arrowhead 1-10x lpvo… was also gonna buy the hostile engagment mount made by swamp fox… do I buy the 30 or 34mm mount??? What is the difference?
Hey Thumb, you ever going to make a video with Matt Best or Black Rifle Coffee? I think it would be awesome! Two of my favs.
That intro gave me flashbacks
OP i practice reloads over my bed to reduce the need to Bend Over and also not drop mags onto the floor, effectively waking parents up./
Have you tried using a plumb blob(line) instead of using a level on the turret?? Had a issue with my vortex and had to do that due to a cant issue.
i'm not sure if youll even see this comment amonst the rest but you should review the CZ bren 2 carbine next if you wouldnt mind!
If you ever dropped a open High Cap in your Mums livingroom, press that like Button!
I'm seeing inline front and rear sights, and are you using a QD scope mount?
I bought a rifle to operate as a DMR. I chose a Savage MSR 10 Long Range in 308. I plan on using a Bushnell lrts fde, 3×12×44. Ring wise I'll probably be going with vortex precision match rings. What are your views on this setup for the aforementioned application?
All my friends put their heads almost to the butt plate of the stock, like they're afraid it's going to bite them.
so what do I do if I lost a toenail dropping an AK mag on my foot? Does it give me extra points gor completeing the change before I looked down?
