900 rounds on the way and nobody gets hurt. A team in the 80s.
Really not the crazy or uncommon, also I mean plenty of people died but dudes just firing at someone may be attempting to suppress them.
@@joneszer1 yeah and when they are hit, they fly through the air as if a train hit them ;-)
I scrolled down looking for the comment LMAO
Absolutely
@@markt135 now you mention about it.... it really has the impact of it lol
Let's face it, HEAT will never been replicated. I can still remember the detail of the leaves being shaken from the trees from muzzle percussion as Pacino fires a few rounds down the street at Deniro. Best shootout ever.
Bruh. I was just about to reference heat.
100% agree on Heat. Just a great movie all around where the director managed to show the internal struggles of both the protagonist (Pacino) and the antagonist (Deniro) but I digress...the city shoutout scene was so well choreographed. About a year later the big shootout happened in North Hollywood. Life imitating art?
this movie is like heat, except even more ridiculous and crap. also the idea of robbers getting away after being surrounded in a shoot out with police is just not possible
Ye yeaaahh..remake
Heat shootout isn't iconic just cause of the amazing audio or the details, it's all in the camera work too. Look at this shit here, you can barely see what's going on, shaky camera work all the way through like it's a snuff movie or something. B+ for effort, F for execution.
0:16 props to the cop for dodging point blank 12 gauges.
0:28 1:10 Michael Bay used this shot twice within a minute of each other.
Wow
I know it happened so often it was getting annoying
@@alejandroaltamira3491 not exactly the same repetitive shoot but cut 1 shoot into 2.
Just remember this was more visual than computer generated. One shot footage.
Does anyone actually get hit by bullets in this movie? Feels like an episode of the A=Team from the 80s.
Not necessarily, Normally it depends if someone has accurate aim
well there was that one dude who got crushed by the delivery van
True especially when these swat guys walked in a line with no shields and survived
Cop didn’t even lose a button on his shirt
@@CrossOfBayonne at 0:16, do you really think cop wouldnt get scratched?
all them bullets fired and barely anyone gets hit until the end
Its just a pushing tactic to hold off the cops. They had no killing inntention
@@mog8436 yeah I get that
Actually, a couple of the masked robbers were hit, but since they were wearing body armor, they just got knocked down a couple of times but were able to get up again and shoot back. I guess the director was probably trying to replicate the 1997 North Hollywood shootout but with better armed and equipped police this time compared to the real life incident. Reminds me of an episode of The A Team, except without the Ruger Mini-14s, the black GMC van and people somersaulting in the air after an explosion.
3:36 epic drone shot. Operator went all in!
I especially love the part where that ambulance blast was enough to toss a 2 ton police car but there's people standing 10ft away that weren't injured 🤣
especially when the officer who get's caught in the blast is able to get up and outrun the guy who was driving the exploding ambulance, with him already having a 200 meter headstart at least
Hundreds of rounds of aimed fire expended with out anyone going down. Somebody needs to spend more time at the Qualifying range.
"We used to be so in sync. And now you want to do this, and i want to do that, you know?
You want to go right, and i want to go left. And i wish we just both wanted to go left together, you know? We should just go left together. Go left, go left !"
Loved the code
1:57 when the guy shoots the teddy bear and makes the squeak noise I almost died
Gotta ad a bit of comedy in a shoot out😂🤣
Man, this scene was absolutely intense, especially when the first gunshots at 0:08 began. It was so loud in the theater that my heart starting pumping so much.
Clearly you’ve never seen Heat
@@moosamalik5453 Yes, in fact, I did. And I know that people will consider Heat better than this movie. You can obviously see that this scene is still kind of dumb as not one single person was shot by the robbers.
yeah it was loud in the theater for me too haha
The louder the more realistic...love it
@@JuniorSL4550what part of no cops get killed do you not understand? You kill a cop the whole state will be on yo ass. I’m sure that the entire objective was be in and out nobody fires off a single round. Also looked like most of the fire was just to suppress the cops from returning fire during their exfil.
Those drone shots are INSANE
True and the speed ramp of the drone shots are insane too
Love how SWAT is supposed to be ready for situations like this but can't hit a guy running away from them. Also, gotta get me one of them infinite ammo mags.
SWAT would never walk out in the middle of the street while firing their weapons and not find cover. But what the hell do I know I'm just a security guard.🤷♂
@@ThroughMyEyes2020 did you know someone in swat
@@oisinlynch8427 Don't need to know someone in swat when you have sense of common to not stand in the open and not expect to get shot at, which seems like alot of people are lacking nowadays.
@@panther7584 army tells you 3-5 second rushes when moving lol. But I'm just a security guard too lol. Standing in the open gets you shot. Cool actions but in real life shooting and moving without cover fire will get you shot.
I dunno isn’t leapfrogging a special forces tactic? I can sorta see why it might be something Swat might have trained. Like when they need to advance under fire to close down on a shooter, the French advance into the Bataclan to end the hostage situation in the Paris 2015 attacks was conducted under fire behind a ballistic shield.
The fact that 1 minute into the shooting and civilians are just continuing to run into the line of fire.
Bay just directed a 90s movie in this decade. Didn't lost his talent to create entertaining spectacles. I highly doubt he was trying to compete with Heat, the man just kept on trying to find excuses to make next big action set pieces happens. It has stupid and dumb story but it delivers the action spectacles that an action junkie can expect from Bay. Downside is he used an awful lot of drone shots. This movie was relentless and insane.
Forget CGI, let's blow shit up in the streets of Los Angeles. I'm glad for visual effects.
I disagree many movies overuse CGI im glad Bay used drone shots rather use a ton of CGI like other films
For being a Michael Bay film this is actually great, Everyone should also watch Secret Soldiers Of Bengazi too
It was a great movie but sadly it doesn't performed too well on the box office
@@arianwind8811 thanks to Sonic 2...however this film did made it's money back on a small budget
To compare this to 16 hrs in terms of movement and shooting is an absolute joke. Bengazi got it right, this looks like a cartoon.
@@livewire11 I agree because who would realistically strap a mini gun to a Chevy Impala
@@CrossOfBayonne I know right, at least get yall a hilux
Those drone shots look amazing when they don’t overtake the actor or zoom past all the action
Michael Bay used too many drone shots in this film, even making people dizzy.
trying to be an artsy fartsy version of Heat
Kind of a cheap out tactic besides all his films being filled with CGI explosions
Wanna see dizzy, watch the movie Carter, 😁
I was fine for me.
@@FluffyHawk13 Good sir, you dropped something 👑
I love the fact that everybody shooting full auto and there is absolutely NO civilian casualties( supposed to be all around , like 27 people killed in windows, just walking 400 yard from the shooting) . Cops in this case will be sueed for 20 years in prison
Cops wont be sued for that... they will only be sued if they aimed at those civs 400 yards away but they werent
@@sjstewart9397 Every death of the civilian ( any reason) = prosecution, trial. A dead man is a dead man. A cop in case hos firearm shot the civilian will be prosecuted by murder degree2
In a shootout that big civvy casualties are literally unavoidable
Anyone who thinks there is not going to be civilian casualties in a shoot out like this has ether never been in a real major gun fight or war zone or completely ignorant in the subject.
The cops are also engaged in full on combat against extremely dangerous well armed opponents there is no judge in the western world who would bring charges against these cops, trying to take them down for hitting a random 200 yards away on the other side of the building out of line of sight just will not happen. Reasonable force in a reasonable situation, in a clusterfuck gun battle its do what you need to do to take the threat down and get out alive.
It’s a dumb action movie, who cares.
Rest In Piece all the police cars that were destroyed for this movie.
I was laughing that they used Challenger, Durangos and an Infiniti Q50 as unmarked cop cars. lol. RIP too. The Ford ambulance wins!
@@DC322 they also used RAM TRX,Nissan GTR Nismo as police cars and Volvo's as FBI cars
Some of those cars were a waste tbh they should've shown some action of the GTR chasing the ambulance a long scene
For people complaining that no one got shot, it is common in gun battles whether it be a robbery or warfare for few if no one to get shot. A good example of that is the Battle of Blair Mountain, where 10,000 coal miners fought 3000 lawmen for 5 days with around 1 million rounds fired, and only around 100 people were killed.
Rewatching this scene again is just epic
Love seeing FPV shots made it into the final cut
ah they tried but HEAT still tops the best action scene of all time.
No one ever will beat HEAT
This scene. We all know its at least 15 minutes before swat will be called in and then a half hour before they get on site. 10 seconds in and a fully loaded bearcat is pulling up with a plan of attack.
I've been through a SWATTING situation before and they took less than that to respond and bust the door down lol
You underestimate how quick swat would respond to a situation like this. Armed robbers with weapons the ATF would drool out the mouth over will have the entire arms room teleported to you dawg 😂
This scene was incredible. Very intense for a Michael Bay movie. I know they miss a lot of shots, but Danny specifically says to not hit a cop directly, so it’s mainly cover fire. If they shoot a cop, they will become much more aggressive.
That would explain why no cop was killed
@@justasimplegamer129 Mostly they were holding one wounded cop hostage in the ambulance.
Even the cops aren't hitting anything.
So many storm troopers with that aim.
I guess this is where Vader sends his unwanted clones
Lol I guess you never see real life shootouts or been in one to understand. Not saying this is fact but not ever round you shoot will be accurate especially under heavy fire.
Felt like I was watching a transformer movie with all the explosions 😂
Thanks for the upload!
Alex Vanover's FPV work, especially the building dive is amazing.
Michael Bay man…. Never dissapoint
Cocaine is a hell of a drug!
This is the longest gun sound movie that I have ever seen in the theater lmao
Never seen this movie, but you can tell they're going for the HEAT vibe. Not quite it, but this was still really good tho. Sounds were amazing
2:00 poor Teddy Bear :(
They killed the effin Teddy Bear!!!!! Cruelty to stuffed animals!!! Call the ASPCA!!!!
this is a very good movie non stop tension guys give this movie a chance 👍
Being a Michael Bay film it was pretty decent
3:03 Danny shoots with dual SMG (correct me if i'm wrong) in the next shot it's missing
AR-15 Carbine f auto
This is epic! These are the type of movies i like!
2:00 Had me angry the producers could do something like that 😂
"be advise im going in, they got my partner " I had no plans on ever seeing this movie but that line with the cop right secured me never seeing it.
The camera work is hilarious
Imagine if Bay made a “44 minutes” movie 😍😍😍
HEAT RULES. AND THIS IS GREAT ALSO
naaah, heat rules this is just white noise and flashy lights
Mikhael Bay n the lightings always together 😌
ยิงกันสนุกมากครับ
never heard of this movie but will watch now
mom i want Heat
Honey, we have heat at home
Heat at home:
Love the Bayhem!...
With a magazine of 500 rounds load and keep firing without ever changing a mag lol "Heat" smashed this
God this scene is great. It degenerates like a 5 year old wrote it. 'people dive through glass, then a BOMB ambulance comes, then a car with a GATLING GUN but it's a robot!'
minigun was the cherry on top. Deadlier weapon.
ambulance > the gray man.
Most realistic part of this entire shootout is @2:00. Otherwise the bullets would go right through everyone of those vehicles except the MRAP.
Oh damn an SAI GRY
Nice
I think I saw like less than 10 people getting hit with bullets, the storm troopers are really showing some progress.
Try engaging targets while being shot and tell how it goes. Just their firing stance makes them miss already
Randazzo was my favorite character he should've had his own movie
Nice Drone shots 🙂
nicely done
The perks of being Michael Bay is the decoy scene where it explodes
0:15 savage cut
Now this is a Pacific Standard Heist😎😎😎
Did anyone notice hear this sound effect on 3:22 it's the sounds that Michael Bay used for His Transformers movies you know where every Transformers punch each other or crash
Ah yes, the modern movie. Where people stand out completely in the open, firing 500 rounds downrange with no one on either side being even slightly injured.
Ahem A team anyone
1:58 I never caught the teddy sound until now lol
I liked this movie
for gun sounds effects is “the heat”is most bestest film ever.
Damn those m14 look good
That AR-15 burst sent that robbery flying as if he was hit by a 30mm shell, wtf
Super cool
"We have Heat (1995) Shootout Scene at home"
Lotta bullets wasted but that guy at 0:52 gets hit pretty nasty 🎉
How a laser tag shootout feels:
0:01 RIP 2018 Dodge Charger LAPD.
Can't take this movie seriously when there's an intense shootout yet people with bright yellow vest standing still in the intersection.
How about steady the cam and do longer cuts like Michael Mann please? Let us actually focus on what is happening lol
What the fuck man if everyone does the same thing then what’s the fun It’s Artists choice and Heat was not action movie 🍿 not at all different take here.
Dude in the Impala can be my wingman anytime
I’m watching this movie now. The heist shootout is one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen. These are portrayed as professionals and prior military yet they CANNOT hit a single target at near point blank range.
もはやGTA5の世界やな
Good Brother
Excellent film
Best bank robbery shootout heat this isnt even close
The 'experts' here 🤣
HEAT enough said.
These guys aim like storm troopers.
Michael Bay of today feels like the B side of 90s Michael Bay
I guess they really didn't want to increase their charges in case they get caught by not killing a single civilian or cop.
in most states if someone dies during commission of a robbery they'll put you under the jail
I love the part where Jake Gyllenhaal mag dumps 50 rounds of 300 BLK out of 20 round magazine.
Dude what is it with 6000 different camera angles. Scene got me motion sick.
Those drone shots coming down from the building seem so out of place.
"We have Heat at home."
...the Heat at home.
Dude my man be having plot armor moments the guys can’t even hit the officer
Incoherent nonsense. The Michael Bay Specialty.
Hardcore Henry didn't mess with me, but watching this gave me a headache. So glad I didn't waste my time going to a theater or even pirating the flick.
A .223 round hits you and throws you through a god damn window?
At least try and to do some ballistics research, Hollywood.
Best action of swat
I don't give a damn what Hollywood says..... Michael Bay is in a class of his own when it comes to directing films. I say this from having grown up on his movies
Battlefield Hardline and Hotwire be like:
The red white cap man he use M4 weapon i think wow!!
i like sound bullet so soft❤
The rifle he’s got is known as a Salient Arms International GRY.
I hate how the military ruined most types of action movies for me. People obviously forget that getting shot once wont kill some person (unless its a headshot or a heart impact) and that the bad guys can be just as lethal as the good guys with their respective firearms.
I love when actors pretend to shoot guns while holding them motionless. Why can’t they pretend fake recoil?
In the case of this film, they aren’t entirely pretending, they are firing blanks. The gun shots are real, so they probably thought that in itself sold the effect and didn’t feel the need to fake more recoil on top of it.
@@toad6565 I noticed that, but I’m not sure all guns are shooting blanks because some of them have almost no movement at all, I feel like in quick shots they’re probably holding prop weapons
@@TheSecondBeef generally when the scene requires a stunt, like for example jumping out of a car with a gun, it's almost always a prop (high quality rubber weapons).
For actor's and stunt-double's safety.
however some actors/stunt-doubles/directors take it serious and do the stunts with non-prop stand-ins or the actual weapon it's supposed to be. Some go as far as not even using props and stand-ins at all, like "All the Devil's Men" or "The Terminal List".
Cool movie scene but it's clear they didn't use military advisors to make it accurate. In other good movies, such as sicario and heat, the actors actually trained with military like SOS, Seals, ect
Yeah they didn’t trained actors but used real Cop 👮♀️ smart ass.
