It took me by surprise that the antagonist was scared. I thought he loved these kind of things. I like the line his bodyguard said about him being a fanboy

The weapons handling in this series and overall story was WELL DONE. Highly recommend this series. High hopes for a season 2.
Jared Shaw trained him. I recognized him in the movie the tomorrow war so I looked him up. He is Chris’s friend and also a former Navy Seal. 👍

They said this was some kind of right-wing revenge fantasy. Don't really know what that means but critics really don't like Chris Patt for his religious belief.

The only critic I have on this scene is the continuity flaw when the villain yell them to drive, the security yells the front car to go and then enters the car that starts to move out, then Reece activates the explosives and the car that was moving a second ago is now completely stopped. This got into my nerves because this series is so perfect and this scene is the best one of it that I got kind of upset about this error.

It’s hard not to like Chris Pratt in any role that he is in. He is a gifted actor.
I agree, and in a way I think he's kinda like Clint Eastwood because he looks the same in every movie he's in!

Chris Pratts falls into the "great actor, bad writers" dilemma a lot. He will be in some real steamers, playing some real forgetful characters, but he plays them well.

I thought he sucked in everything when he was out of shape and doing comedy roles. Now that he's in shape and doing serious roles, i think he found his calling.
This villain was so underwhelming in the best way. So satisfying to see him cower after he built himself up to be a badass. Loudest person in the room mentality

Especially after the tattoo scene when he said his navy seal tattoo was a sign of respect instead of stolen valor.

Was anyone else freaking out and kept thinking it was going to be like one of those movie clichés?
The one where the hero has the villain dead on, and then gets shot or prevented at the last second.
It was SO satisfying that didn't occur, and he took him out so easily.

Best show of the year so far, by a country mile. Can’t remember the last time I was so engrossed in a series that I just had to watch the next episode. Simply brilliant.

Seal Team on Paramount is not bad.
My favorite aspect of this scene is that Reece didn't commit the gravest sin of any tragic heroes - talking too much. He didn't even bother saying a single word to the biggest villain (or I thought) when he pulled the trigger. Just a classic shot of cold revenge. Absolutely brilliant.

The fact that both John wick and Reece barely spoke a word to finish off their revenge makes the revenge look cooler. No words, just plain anger.
I don't know... Alejandro's revenge in Sicario was really brutal and he spoke quite a bit. It was one of the best revenge scenes in cinema history in my opinion.
This series was one of the best shows I've seen is recent years... Chris Pratt is the man!

He's a Navy Seal there's a big difference.
You don't call a Seal, a Soldier, just like you wouldn't say Recon or Raiders, are soldiers...lol.

pro tip so you don't get yelled at for lumping SEALs and marines in with soldiers next time: just say operators.
He's the guy playing a guy disguised as another guy.

This scene really shows you the difference between a spoiled money man that likes to play soldier during his free time and a real veteran combat specialist. Easily one of the most realistic scenes in all the industry.
Well the bodyguards were professionals atleast in theory, though their response was questionable for their supposed quality

@@strider_1 while its hard to gather solid data on mercenary groups a few reasearch teams did some studies using infromation from Iraq. That reasearch showed that 4/5 of the mercenaries in the iraq war were former military and that mercenaries also had a significantly higher mortallity rate due to being used as expendable forces (US military doesn't have to report mercenary casualties as their own). take from that information what you will.

one of the best scenes on the show, salute chris pratt for the training and to all navy seals out there.. simply the best
I love what they did with this, depicting the difference in level of skill between someone who does courses on the weekend as a hobby and someone who LIVES it, on a day-to-day....

@@cagneybillingsley2165 Then you're uninformed. The action was a minute long. It takes first responders 4 to 7 minutes to get to a scene. The ones that were already there were too few in number to stop him because he planned it out accounting for them, though if you'd watched the whole show you'd know that he did get in major trouble here during his escape as he cut things too close and got cornered and shot precisely for the reasons you said.
This show isn't braindead. It's based on a set of books written by a man who actually knows his stuff. This is absolutely plausible.

This scene was simply perfection what I really liked was the way they panned through the action, the angles they chose were surprisingly oblique?. It's always tough going through an action sequence close enough to experience the dynamic but not to close everything becomes frenetic eg Michael Mann.
Obviously John Wick revolutionised Action sequences with those amazing long takes over multiple set designs simply brilliant. But the Terminal List just balances action so we'll because they never lose sight of the motivation.
This is a Man on a Mission it's an intriguing drama, it's a twist filled thriller and it's an incredibly personal story of betrayal, loss, insanity and ultimately redemption.
This scene just blends it all perfectly

What was your favourite moment from The Terminal List?
Jack Carr is the man! You can tell this story sprouted from a former SEAL's mind. This is what revenge must look like when you mess with the wrong guy. Fiction is so great, you can live a revenge fantasy through the pages of a book and if you get the chance it might get edited into a series or a movie.
He's a way better writer than Tom Clancy and Robert Ludlum.
This was amazing to watch Chris Pratt definitely delivered

@@tyj9175 It's based on a book series, in the books after he finishes his list he's contacted by the doctor who diagnosed him and told that the tumor is actually operable with a decent survival rate. There will definitely be more of this show.

This is my first time seeing Chris Pratt in a Military Themed Movie, i always see him on Comedic movies and he fits the role as a Special Forces Soldier
I've only 2 episodes left, and enjoying the miniseries very much.

only a few ep in Jack Ryan and it feels lightweight compared to Terminal List. TL gets right into it and didn't let up until the finale.
Check out "the old man" series. Action and more twists than a Clancy novel.
The way his family was handled all the folks responsible deserved every bit of retribution!

One of the big things for me is the bad guys were just spraying bullets everywhere... James just double taps them one by one... no wasted movement
Chris Pratt is a great comedic actor, and a terrific badass too. This dude is always a pleasure to watch.
If you all are fans of the show I recommend reading the books. You can even kinda skip the 1st book since this season was based on it. Book 2 and 3 fill you in on the changes made adapting the book. Although I don’t agree with the choices they made because if they go season 2 they will have to make even more changes from the book but I’m sure it’ll be entertaining.

Great direction in this scene. The Seal experience is intimidating even for the cockiest and most prepared of civilians. That's exactly how it should be.

I loved the fact that they chose to use Rezvani tanks as Steve horns convoy vehicles. Since Steve is a pseudo military guy, they could not have chosen a better vehicle to represent his character.

This is where i was torn if i should root for main character. Even with the fact, that i was able to feel his pain and understand his motives, taking other civilians into this, was little bit too risky. But that is not an complain, i actually liked the idea of main character flawed, not being perfect and doing questionable things.

@@gym_beam I am watching it properly. He still was risking random people around him to get his revenge. You cant never calculate if all bullets will land away from civilians and stuff, you cant even calculate how civilians will react when shootout and explosions are going off. I just don´t agree with what he had done here, he could have it done elsewhere but i am not complaining. Having main hero doing things i will not agree with, makes the writing way better.
Chris Pratt's acting in this is very underrated.
