Can I ask a massive favour....? I have a charity soapbox race this Sunday and I could do with some votes on the cart for the style points, it's free to do and you don't have to register to anything or sign in. It's just a case of clicking the link and selecting cart number 25. PS, It is the least stylish in the picture because it doesn't have any body work, we built it on the day it needed to be in but it is all now done, thanks in advance www.votekrazy.co.uk/
Those gas meters have a neat time saving trick. If you press 0 (4 times) or until it says 'load' it'll give you an instant gas rate for your hob/boiler saving you 2 mins.
Its amazing how manky things become behind kitchen units Tom, seen any silver fish lately? Silverfish, a good name for the old soap box cart😂, good luck
Thanks for the support as always mate, I did one not so long ago where I found someone's teeth under the sink, I think I have the footage somewhere so might include it at some point
Thanks for the support as always mate, I might add a bit to the end of a video, we haven't tested it yet so it might end in complete disaster, have a great weekend 👍
Hope you enjoyed the hols tom.. i see so many people on yt using the tap kit. I suspace most get sent them free to do a free advert on theor channels...like your no nosense appraoch to getting stuff done...
Great content as per Tom, I bought the Nerrad kit, is it £160 good? Not really but all I know is there’s been occasions where it’s got me out of the 💩 and saved time and effort in the long run. One of those tools that’s not a necessity day to day but some days you’re glad you have it👍🏻
with the box spanners you can usually add one on top other, make them longer btw wish i'd known that tap trick years ago would saved me lot swearing. hope had nice hols tom
Tom, great vt as always, tip for you and alll your subscribers, when using flex tap cons on compression fittings ALWAYS file the thread flat, to save the washer....
Tom i noticed online that the big online company starting with A are selling a version of those spinning pipe cleaners you were talking about. I have no idea if they are good, but I believe the are a lot cheaper. Just search copper pipe cleaners.
I do have one but I get on better with a water gauge, on some jobs if there's been a smell of gas I will use the digital one and do a print out although there is no legal requirement to do this, thanks for watching

Those gas meters have a neat time saving trick. If you press 0 (4 times) or until it says 'load' it'll give you an instant gas rate for your hob/boiler saving you 2 mins.

with the box spanners you can usually add one on top other, make them longer btw wish i'd known that tap trick years ago would saved me lot swearing. hope had nice hols tom
You can do that, it is a very handy tip, thanks for watching as always Pete, it is greatly appreciated 👍
@@PlumbLikeTom voted, who's driving the soapbox?
My brothers are pilots and co pilot, my job is to push it off at the start
@@PlumbLikeTom ah got the best job lol. all that jogging practice should come in handy!
Tom, great vt as always, tip for you and alll your subscribers, when using flex tap cons on compression fittings ALWAYS file the thread flat, to save the washer....
Thanks for the support mate, like you say it is best to file the fitting flat to get the best seal, have a great weekend 👍
Just don't overtighten the fitting. No need to file down. Never had one leak yet.
I ordered a 15mm and 22mm set last week haven't come as of yet
You will have to let me know how you get on with them, a lot of plumbers say they are good, thanks for watching Andrew
Don't you just love customers that know you are coming to change a tap, yet leave the unit full, and draining board full of pots. 😏
I know, I see it as all part of the job now, thanks for the support as always mate
What? You don't do the dishes when clearing up...wonder why the country is in such a mess😂😂
Right arm swipe and smash the pots to bits 😂

Use rad valve tails much nicer and monument do a nice mono block tap spanner’s
I used to use them but got told off for them not being Wras approved, they do work well, thanks for watching Mark
Tom, what does the letters on your t-shirt stand for?
It's just the initials of me and my brothers first names, they are all electricians but we all work together in our business, thanks for watching mate
Them flues not much of a slip when an extension needed. Worcester 1000 little kick on gas inlet crazy cheap get around...pleasure again bud.
You need the digital gauge for electronic gas pressure unless you can’t in the UK
I do have one but I get on better with a water gauge, on some jobs if there's been a smell of gas I will use the digital one and do a print out although there is no legal requirement to do this, thanks for watching
The sink at 15 min is the greatest looking 👀 under sign 🙄
