What a days work that was Tom, no one can get on until the plumbers been can they, used to drive me mad, you can only get done what you can, tidy as always, take care 👍🚽
Nice work Tom and good content, that’s the trouble with helping people out mate, it’s always you that ends up under pressure, something I’m very familiar with, I often say that I have a good knife to spread myself so thin!
Makita build solid tools, when I bought the Macrist drill I was told they are the best, It's not proving so but you don't always know until you try, thanks for watching mate
@@PlumbLikeTom always a pleasure in watching your content, as tradesman every day is a learning day, gives ideas tips and tricks etc , keep up the good work mate 👍🏻
Thanks for the support mate, to be honest I reckon that's the best way of flushing a really dirty system. On some combi conversions I connect washing machine hoses onto the boiler jig before I hang the boiler, one on the flow and one on the return and just open the fill loop, it washes all the crap out before hanging the boiler with the mains
@PlumbLikeTom I am a joiner by traid but I also do every other traid also ie plaster build tiling roofing ground works plumbing. I don't touch boiler or anything like that I just do bathroom kitchen and maybe the odd rad so nothing as good as the stuff u do mate keep up the good work mate you teach people like me that are self learned a lot of tips 👍
Very nice pipe work Tom,people are always pushing the job forward and they don’t stop to think person 👍have a good one see on your next notification cheers 👍👍👍👍👍🙋♂️
Makita tools for me all day. Got a multi tool and a small grinder. Both excellent. And two drills. The compatible batteries are not expensive either. Good work again tom👍👍
Thanks for the support as always mate, I do rate Makita stuff, I've had some stuff break but after years of solid use, you don't mind replacing stuff if it's been well used
Be steady tom pal I've been like you in the past and now slowed right down, remember stress levels are irreversible once you have health or heart issues not having a go just don't want it getting to you be careful my friend.
Hi Tom, looks like you are making some good progress on that job. I hate it when expensive tools let you down, when you pay for quality that’s what you should get. I hope the drill gets sorted for you. Have a great week and as always take care Tom. 👍👍👍
Thanks for the support as always Chris, I'm hopeful the drill will get sorted, I don't use it much but it is a time saver when it works, have a great week mate
Your still very busy Tom ..Well at least you have got that new boiler job finished 👍👍👍. Don't you just love those drop onto jobs .always a rush . Well at least you have made a good start on it 👍👍👍
Good one mate. My core drill also broken down middle of the the job, I had to use my sds unfortunately. Lasted 9 months luckily, sent back to marcrist let's whats happen. Thanks again for good work mate.
Thanks for the support as always mate, hopefully mine comes back soon, I don't use it alot but it is brilliant when it works and makes light work of coring
Good work, Tom. It’s no good when you’re so busy and your tools can’t keep up. I’m on my 2nd Marchrist now. I like the drill but have you looked inside one, the gears are tiny, not really strong enough for the job they have to do.
Thanks for the support Martin, it could well be the gears gone in mine, It hasn't had much use really, I don't use it every day but when It is working it does do a good job. Hopefully it gets fixed, I took it back to my supplier so we will wait and see
can't beat a makita! got an 18v battery saw from 97 had smoke coming out it so many times and its still going,. grab the makita stuff if you can thats made in japan, its next level. the swiss made bosch pro is pretty good...

Hi Tom enjoyed the video 👍🏼 after flushing the system so you make note on how the system was balanced before or do you start again ? Do you have a certain way you personally do it ?

The filter adaptors I got from adeys website, you can but them individually of in as a set, the ones that fit the micro filters have to bought separate though as these aren't included in the bigger set, thanks for watching

I always find myself irrationally disappointed that you don't do a double bend (e.g. at 12:20). I'm sure it's a complete waste of your time as a professional plumber since you'd have to solder a fitting either way, but it just feels like it would be more elegant with two bends instead of a bend and an elbow.
