Thankfully she overrode her feelings and called the police.
YES
I can't help but think that it might be her maternal instinct that made her call the cops. However much she loved him, she must love her daughter more and want to protect her at all costs.
@lp they were only married because he proclaimed it in court taking advantage of some oddity in Florida law.
lp That was after the murders, he married her while in court. This woman was before that.
lp You do apparently. You said it was bs when it’s fact. I was just letting you know you had false information.
I don't understand why the RAPIST part seems to be minimized.
makeupphd Because he was a literal serial killer. I think we can all agree that rape is bad, but NOT worse than murder by any standard. Pretty sure all of those girls would have chosen rape over rape and DEATH.
@@mariamcandrew1041 How is rape not worse than murder? Rape victims usually have to live with that pain, meanwhile murder victims don't
Maria you really should generalize as you will never know what those girls would have felt as you don’t know them.
Most rape victims never seek justice, they never get help and people like you minimize pain rape victims feel.
Shouldn’t “
Maria he literally raped a few of his victims and also committed necrophilia with his victims bodies, rape and murder are two different things that shouldn’t be compared to each other they are both terrible.
She’s a national hero for reporting him! Sadly, a lot of girlfriends assume their boyfriends are innocent and don’t report them.
It’s probably incredibly difficult to imagine someone you love and believe you know well, a long term partner or even a family member, could be capable of such evil. I’m sure most can’t even comprehend the possibility their loved one could secretly be a monster of this level
“A lot” like who?
His last wife assumed his innocence even when He's was charged and convicted of many murders. She married him during trials and sneakily got pregnant for him and had his baby while he was on death row.

Yep, at least 6 out 10 bf's are guilty of being serial killers and and 5 of those guys gf's think they are innocent
"He had a spotless, clean record" Why do they always discount someone with no record? Everyone has a clean record before they begin a life of crime.
Bundy also may have committed murders he wasn't caught at.Some people think he killed a little girl that was murdered in his neighborhood when he was around 15.
Ex👏🏽act👏🏽ly!
Wasnt he old at the time? If you hadnt been caught by your 30s you probably have an extremely low chance to be suspected of committing a crime compared to someone like me who had offenses from before they were 18
@@miketrujillo3677 He was 29 when he was first apprehended. This is from wikepedia "During high school, he was arrested at least twice on suspicion of burglary and auto theft. When he reached age 18, the details of the incidents were expunged from his record, as is customary in Washington and many other states."

She’s so strong! The fact that she called the cops on her boyfriend shows how strong she is!
that’s not strength
giangamerboi 🙄 then what is?
giangamerboi To have a hunch, regardless of how much you love someone, and decide to inform the authorities for the safety of herself, child, and the people around him is pretty strong if you ask me. There are people who are abused and don’t contact the authorities.... so the fact that she picked up the phone and reported based on some of her findings is pretty strong to me.
Melody Fathi if I ate subway and posted it that’s not strength. In a literal sense that isn’t
giangamerboi lol ok. So eating at subway and reporting and figuring out your boyfriend is one of the most sensational serial killers of all time is the same? Lol ok troll.
She was so beautiful when she was young. She saved so many women by reporting him. And her daughter looks so young.
Lisa Marie I think she’s still a beautiful strong woman.
Lisa Marie I agree she did save many potential victims, and I hope she remembers her reporting him saved many lives.

She and her daughter look good for their age!
If she never would have turned him in I bet he would have gotten away with everything… he was smart, but clearly not smart enough. Thank god Liz followed her gut.. and thank god her and her daughter are safe.
she didn't turn him in. she had nothing to do with his being arrested. she's actually a retard
I hope she’s okay. It would be a lot to carry having a relationship with a serial killer. Not to mention the public backlash she received.
Wrong. She gets paid for interviews and photos. Best thing in the world to date a serial killer. Free money. And the bonus is that he won't target you since you are the GF.

@Fluffy Fluff What's so sad is the reality that she wasn't able to save lives by calling the police on him, because the police either didn't work together to catch Ted Bundy, were too arrogant to listen, or just thought she was wrong. The docu-series is on Amazon Prime and makes it clear that she, and other women, were ignored over and over...meanwhile he was out looking for his next victims. :(
Molly looks a bit like Kristen Bell.
Omg yess 😂
I was thinking about this too!!!
Yea with make up to make her look that way. And the older lady looks very familiar tok. And a couple of the victims. Given time the names of the people they look like will come to me. It must be tribal. 6 degrees separation or they are playing sick jokes.
I was thinking the same thing!!!!!

She realized it was ODD that a man with a broken arm would be kayaking..... Her senses told her to RUN!! It was Bundy.... She said he was EXTREMELY good-looking and very good at his game.....
Her smarts saved her.
I heard from a forensic psychologist that serial killers often have sexual impulses and know that they can't do these things with the people they love which is why they seek out victims.
its fascinating how he looked over 40 when he was still in his 20s, must be all the evil eating him from inside
People aged faster back then. I know 'cause i was a kid in the 70s. Plus, he was a smoker, if I recall correctly. Look at some pictures of singer Jim Croce from the same era. He aged the same way.
Those people do not feel evil and do not feel guilt. Believe me. Good people who do bad things feel those things, but psychopaths and sociopaths do not.

By faith in Jesus Christ all of our sins can be forgiven and we can be reconciled to the Father. But anyone that doesn't believe in Jesus is condemned already.. Makes one question every relationship you have from that point on. Makes them try to guess why they were different. Then adding the guilt of knowing there was true love on your part for 5 years, and who is to say she still doesn't hold some form of love for the man she thought she knew. You can't say she doesn't have pain 40 years later just because pain is individualized and should not and can not be compared to another persons pain. Mental or physical.
Happy Girl if you watch the doc, she wasn’t just dating him. He was verbally awful to her and pushed her during a boating trip and she almost died. I hate how people make it black or white. ''Oh, he couldn't love them''. Why not? What makes you an expert on human mind? No two minds think alike. Even if the emotions for him were wired differently, it doesn't mean he didn't care in his own way. No one knows what he felt or was thinking. He didn't share that much before being fried either. Her best friend said Ted used to sneak up on her and her daughter all the time and scare the hell out of them. She also used to wake up middle of the night to him under the covers looking at her naked body with a flashlight. She's not telling this for some reason. The red flags were all around and she was collecting them. He also kept a big bag in the closet with earrings, hair pins, jewelry etc. all from his victims. She saw all of this. Her daughter was very young but should have been protected. Liz did not want to believe what she knew.
in 1974 forensics was crude by today's standards, and the first use of DNA was 12 years in the future. But the one thing that enabled Ted most was the lack of communication between the state police departments. Crossing state lines gave you a new lease on life. When Ted finally made it to Florida, the state police there had little info about him or his long string of crimes out west.
Even after all these years, this monster is still being spoken about.
Let’s just hope history doesn’t repeat itself, and we as a society can help change the amount of women being killed and protect innocent people from these type of monsters.
@@poppy-rae2795The 70's didn't have the technology we have today making it near impossible to catch Bundy. Today, we have advanced technology that makes it a lot easier to capture killers.
Maine Coon do you realize how many serial killers are out there lol why do you think they’re so many missing people or murders that can’t be explained it’s because of serial killers
@Jon Bones Jones Albert Fish, very interesting case most never hear of.
@Jon Bones Jones neat, Ted's been my inspiration for many years. you'll never meet such a charming ocean eyed cold blooded killer such as him. 😍
Not really related to the video but tell me that the daughter doesn’t look EXACTLY like Kristen Bell
Kori Bell I did so many double takes!!
Kori Bell yes a older Kristen Bell for sure that’s her in say 15 ish years
Ikr. That’s definitely her in 20-30 years.
No way!!!
Who TF is Kristen Bell?
Imagine how many people are going through this right now that have no idea.
I guess she and her daughter were his outlet to role play “normality” with. If she had ever began to truly question doubt or challenge something “about him” the facade probably would’ve fallen away. It was also probably another way he could throw off suspicions by being this “normal family guy”. This woman was so courageous to come forward. It would be such a mind blowing experience to find out the one person u thought u knew and loved was someone u didn’t know at all 😢
Ted was using her & her daughter as a person to appear to be that is a family man and also as a reason to reside in the area where Ted was hunting women.
Dennis Rader called his family *social contacts* they need a cover
This is the dumbest shit i've ever heard, not sure why people make him out to be some mastermind that plans every single move, it's cringe.
@@Just_Rusted He had a very average IQ and was a sexual deviant. I cannot believe they keep glorifying him either

is not a sign of high intelligence.
Aäron but he was a smart man , if u look at his killings etc they show his iq
So many documentaries and books I’ve seen have talked about Liz, never had a face, so I’m glad we know who she is
Unrealated, but I appreciate your kubrick profile picture
Is something wrong with her neck? She never holds her head straight.
I remember reading this in a different video and I’ll never forget it. Ladies, never help a man with a car situation. If a man needs help, he will ask another man for help, not a woman.
Or call AAA for assistance
You can look in Ted Bundy eyes and see that that man is seriously disturb mentally.
There was a void in them.
Demon
Don't ever judge a book by it's cover.
He is the result of an insest - his Dad was also his grandfather
I feel like all these comments are because we know he's was a monster. I'm pretty sure none of us would have noticed those eyes if we hadn't seen it before he was exposed
This brave woman called the police twice, but they ignored her,
She was seriously lucky, her and her daughter, Glad they are both doing Ok
They both drink heavily now
I can not stand the disgusting individuals who fawn over Ted Bundy , people who romanticize serial killers need to be sectioned in my opinion and get serious help.
You're so right. Something is so wrong with our society. Even 50 Shades of Grey is about a mental controlling guy and women went crazy for that movie. It's like everyone says violence and emotional abuse is wrong but then romanticize it. I don't get it. Here we have the sickest man who took pleasure in hurting women and killing them and yet people are somehow intrigued by him and even paying him compliments instead of being disgusted by him. It's the same phenomenon with the news about R Kelly - his music sales went up when news broke that he was a sadistic sexual predator not that long ago. Seeing the pictures of Bundy's victims breaks my heart - they were beautiful young women who could have lived life and had so many experiences if it had not been for this sick bastard killing them. Hollywood is a sick place marketing pain and crime as something entertaining for a morally decrepit audience.
They’re most likely mentally ill.
Exactly they wouldn't be fawning if it were their family member or someone who was raped and murdered. This world is weird.
I think it’s satire.
Calling him handsome not fawning over him back then people thkigjt he was handsome and that’s a big reason he got what he wanted it’s all part of the story
Notice how they both have short, blonde hair after their horrific experience. I couldn't imagine what they have gone through, along with all of his other victims
Yea I thought that when I sall them I thought they dyed there hair blonde and short bc ted on liked long and brown hair girls
@@marandamartin5045 he killed 4 females with blonde hair and one or two had short brown hair
@@roshellethompson8384 Women*
It’s pretty common for women to dye their hair blonde and cut it short as they get older. Lots of women in my area do, and they never knew Ted. It’s easier to manage short, it looks better and blonde is easier to hide grey hair
Smart; didn’t think of that 😂. Good hair advice
It’s possible he used them as a cover to seem normal..
Why is her head tilted to the side like that? If it was explained in the video I missed it.
Every female should read “The Gift of Fear” by Gavin DeBecker, esp teenagers. . Trust your doubts about a person or a situation! Could save your life.
Situational awareness and carrying a gun helps too. Good book.
Bobbi Catalan very good book!
Love that book.

RIP to all those women killed, they were all so gorgeous and did not deserve any of this. That man was truly a monster and always will be.
So if they were not so gorgeous it wouldn't be so tragic

Drives me insane to hear how the police kept ignoring her!!!
She’s actually lucky he actually liked her if not she would’ve been a victim
I don't think he actually liked her. This man was a monster. He was using her to make himself seem innocent.
She didn't fit the profile completely ( bundy targeted young collegean students with long haircuts ) but lizz kendall was older she already had a girl and a job !!
thats why he spared her !!!
Issy YourBoo I think he loved her he was just a monster if he didn’t love her I think she would be dead today
She had a child too...
I think he used her and her daughter to appear "normal"
Imagine how many serial killers you have met and don’t know😭😭😭
Zoey Martinez I read that the fbi estimates there are between 2,500 - 8,500 in the US alone. Unknown... just walking freely in our society. 😐😳

There was once an man, he was a little bit older & I was like 15 or 16, can’t remember. I was in a rush and didn’t had a bus, bc I had to go to an internship. I asked him about the way and he said. I can go with him, his workplace is in the same place. I didn’t wanted to go first but he was like. „I don’t harm you“ and then I stepped in his car. Thanks god he was really an nice man and didn’t used the situation but never ever I go to an stranger‘s car again.
Oh my dear, you actually believe that Bundy loved you? You may have loved him, but don't think for a second that he loved you. You and your daughter were useful to him...the cover he hid behind.
Like the Lucy Letby case. It's so dangerous that people can't believe normal looking and charming people can be sadistic serial killers. People need to be better educated, to trust gut feelings and to go to police sooner rather than later. And hopefully won't be dealing with incompetent police.
The daughter looks like an older Kristin Bell....they say there are people all around that look like you...but damn. Even her hairstyle is like Kristin Bell

I agree!! Nothing at all!
I also felt that his girlfriend turned him in not based on how the sketch looked like him, but that she simply had suspicions based on other reasons..
I’m glad they lived 🙏💖
Ted Bundy must have been so annoyed with himself for underestimating Elizabeth when he found out she rang the police and gave them photos of him. I hate to think how this changed the trajectory of their happy lives. Men do the most crap things to women.
I think she was supposed to be the first victim but he decided to keep her as a cover up. Maybe he was also hoping he can curb his urges by playing the normal guy. He’s a psychopath I’m sure he was fond of her for some utilitarian reason but it’s crazy to me that she still thinks he loved her. It could be that he chose her because of her willingness to be delusional and ignorant.
It’s crazy how someone could love someone so much and never see that side of him and he then turns around and murder countless women that he didn’t even know. It’s just sad. RIP to the women who lost their lives
@Eidis Fosstun and the police told her all the times that she called not to call anymore because he's not the killer.
He fooled alot of people. She was just one of many. He had many enablers and defenders and people rallying and raising money for his defense.

I don't know how this could be related to this, but I'll say it anyway
So a few days ago I was walking home from my stop, and this man who looked kinda attractive just stopped by with his car asking if I wanted a ride home. I said no and that my home is pretty close and he asked for my name, he then said that my hair was pretty. And since my hair is long the first thing I thought about was Ted Bundy, and I am still on the verge of crying. You’re correct! Nobody knew the monster, including them.
That One women are getting their panties wet over Zach Efron portraying him in the movie, not Ted Bundy himself. Disgusting right
That One you’re right and well the 70s had different beauty standards and Ted Bundy was charming. So charming that crime after crime he could convince people he wasn’t even guilty. With the kindness in my heart I want to say the women just didn’t believe he was a bad person and they saw him on tv and stuff and they just thought it was all a show. Liz had long hair parted in the middle: that was something she had in common with almost all Bundy's victims, so it would seem to be something that Bundy needed in his victims. I'm amazed she's still alive.
Me too. But Liz had also said that he did try to kill her one night.
maybe because it was such a giveaway, they'd suspect him then and there while random girls in different states are harder to track
He has to split it off, not as hard to understand.
Actually I don't think they all looked alike . I think that us bullshit. In Florida he attacked about 5 teenagers in one house. He wasn't hand picking individuals.
Parting your hair in the middle was the style back then.

A friend of mine was his sisters friend thru teenage years. They rode to church together and hung out many times. Creepy!! Said he was quiet but charismatic.
