Best vid. Only needed one settler and one level 3 bar. Filled up w crates, paintings, bare minimum defense water and food. 2 beds. The key was sleeping in 2 different beds for the 48 hr sleep cycle, and making sure your settler was working when you woke up. Sleep immediately after happiness ticks up and it goes quick
At 23:29 CST on November 9, 2015, I first fired up Fallout 4. (Hell yeah I have a pic of the screen. I was stoked. Even went to the GameStop midnight release). Over 1000 hours of gameplay and almost 9 years later, I got this achievement. Thanks a lot my dude.

hey, I'd like to thank you because it worked for me too - with one BUT... if anyone has a situation where despite meeting the building conditions, sleeping and waiting, popularity doesn't grow, go play again, mine was constantly at level 56 - no matter how much I didn't sleep for 48 hours and walked around the toilets.
I went on to spread order in the Community, finished the game with the Minutemen, noticed that popularity grew by itself without my presence in the settlement at level 96, I returned to the settlement, slept and waited, it grew to level 99, I went again to see the big nuclear hole of my actions and the trophy popped.
Best straightforward guide period. I was Dreading this achievement but you made it so much more simple. Thanks man!

Geez...this totally worked. I didnt just put random items to fill the size though, i figured if i had to fill the size meter might as well create the full settlement so that once i get the achievement I can recruit settlers. Not bad. Best guide.
This guid is by far the easiest guide I've found. I have been trying a tone of other guides but kept having the increase stop somewhere between 85-90 with every method. Then I found this. at 99 i saved and got the trophy on PS4 then uploaded that save and got the trophy right away on ps5 version. Done and done thanks to you man! Great guide. I just had to sub after this!
Just out of curiosity, how do you do the thing to get the trophy on ps5? I’m currently plating the ps4 version and want to plat ps5 next

@@JacobReid It's fairly easy, you save at 99 happiness, (or anywhere to pop easy trophy, you can do this with level up trophies as well by saving before you pop the next level), then you upload the save through the main menu on fallout 4 ps5 version, load it up wait for happiness to reach 100, or level up for level up trophies. I'm not sure if this works with bobbleheads and magazines and 50 lockpicks and 50 hacks though.
@@patg4670 for the level up trophies you dont need to save before leveling up, if you are over level 50 and you level up once you get all 3, also what the game counts as "hack", "lockpick" and so on is the exact moment that you do it and not the stats by itself, sometimes if you delete the game the progress restars, even if you had 49 hacks or so, you will start from 0 but the game wont tell you, however im not 100% sure about the magazines and bubbleheads, i guess its the same
700 hours on PC and 400 hours on Xbox and I FINALLY got this achievement following your guide! Thank you so much! Only thing I found was if I did my 2-4 mins waiting entirely in the build screen it wouldn't tick up a point. I had to go to build, wait a minute. Then close the build screen and run around maybe for a minute and open the build screen again, and then within a minute it would increase. Took me about 20 mins of real time to get this to work following your guide! :)
Yea this worked, and helped get this trophy. Making what was an 8 hour overnight hell. Into a breeze.

Anyways… I’m completely new to Fallout universe, Amazon Prime series lured me into this post-apocalyptic world and I totally love it! I started before next gen update on PS5 so I’m doing PS4 trophies atm. Right now while I’m writing this comment I’ve got 3 trophies left to go, which are: Mercenary ( Complete 50 Misc. Objectives ) and 2 more with Bobbleheads. I think I might come back to it after some time, just to do a PS5 platinum trophy speed run haha

Just FYI, I just got the trophy with only 3 people and also didn’t have to full the Happiness meter bar (it was approximately 80%) and achieved 100 Happiness anyway

I rarely like or comment, but this should be required viewing for any trophy/achievement hunter. I set this all up, completed quests, etc. Trophy popped while i wasn't even there. Just set this up as soon as you have the resources and this trophy is no problem. Thanks brother!!

This is THE way to get the trophy. This took me around 4 hours to get. I’ll add, once you get to around 96 happiness make a save because the game can be real buggy. If your happiness starts to go down for whatever reason or won’t climb reload the save & try again. You’ll get the trophy eventually.

Just got this trophy thanks to you, this really is a no nonsense guide, easy to follow. Although i did it with one settler.
I cleared out red rocket and sent dogmeat to sanctuary. Set up a bar, 2 beds, 2 water pumps and loaded the work bench with water and mutfruit then set up a beacon, waited 1 day and 2 settlers turned up, i sent one to sanctuary and assisted 1 to the bar, happiness started at 80% and jumped up to 95% using a different method but after that it would bearly move and the time keeping was awkward, i used you sleep 48 hours in 2 beds then waited for a couple minutes and it was ticking up 1 by 1 everytime. Much appreciated video 👍

So you do not actually need a "large" settlement to get this trophy. My yellow bar was only half full and I got the trophy.
Also, you do not need all of the things you built. You just need a level 1 bar, a turret (5 defense), a water pump (3 water), 2 beds, a settler, and about 30 food items in the settlement storage - I had about 30 tatos. Assign the settler to the bar and wait.
When doing the waiting game all I did was sleep for 24 hours then wait on a bench that I also built for 24 hours then idled for about 3-4 minutes in real time. Making sure that the 24 hours ended around early afternoon (1pm), although I am not sure if that was necessary. As soon as the happiness rating went up, I repeated this process.
I brought my happiness from 60 to 100 in exactly an hour and about half of that time was set up.
I did exactly what u said with the 1 person and the bar and got the trophy last night . The happiness stopped at 95 and 99 % after some head scratching managed to get it going again . So pleased it’s done
this strategy worked great, i did everything the video said up until the build limit part, and then followed this comment and it took around 30-45 minutes of sleeping and waiting before i got the trophy. i would recommend doing this 100 percent

This really worked for me. Took a few hours but if you just sleep twice and come back 10 minutes later happiness will start climbing.
I'm at 94 right now. I probably need one more clinic and more stuff. I was keeping my size bar out of the yellow. I'll if it works tonight.

Followed exactly. Got to 97 and then happiness started going down! Tried placing more paintings, had to remove some crates for space. No luck so far. HELP!?
Dude, I could (almost) kiss you (not quite, obviously). I’ve been trying this since firing the game back up in March, with only a handful of trophies left from my first run, back in 2015. Managed all the others but the Benevolent Leader evaded me. I’d seen a few guides using the same place but only one person, however, I was constantly stuck on 99% with food being zero. Anyhoo, I used your method and it literally just pinged, so now I have the platinum. Thank you, for the guide.

This annoying achievement took me like 6 hours, but I was originally trying the single settler method where you station him to a bar, and you supply him food via the workshop…. Didn’t work, and I wasted so much time….
But then I saw this, started working on this, and it did take probably 3 hours at least, but it worked…. Thanks so much!!!!
Just remember this does cost like 9,000 coins tho, to build the 5 bars, I literally had just enough, left me with about 500 coins to spare ,

After 4 hours, What a dumb trophy.
6 S, 6 F, 21 W, P 9, D 80, Beds 8
6 Mutfruits, 5 Bars, 5 clinics, 12 turrets, 3 guardposts, 3 😀dogs, 1 cat, 1 pommel, 1 weights. I scrapped everything & filled it out with rugs & carpets that make 😀 & paintings. 2 sets of stairs onto the roof, 3 small generators a recruitment beacon & HR flames T60B power armor

I got it by maxing out Sanctuary Hills back in 2015. I have no idea how I did it. I always use Mutfruit. I rarely ever use anything other than the basic machine guns, I used a lot of restaurant food booths. I used a lot of statues , flags and posters to. There's more but I don't remember everything.
i did it with oberland station and had a lot of trouble. sometimes iit won't raise but was going down. so i had to redo things like removing my clinic and install a restaurant. Also sometimes add or remove aid in my workshop to make it stop decreasing happiness or to stat raising again.

Red Rocket will be to small I believe, but yeah good choice if it works. You actualy need 1 settler in Red Rocket, doing a lvl 3 Bar. Adding a Guard dog makes it quicker. Run a suplyline from Sanctuary too, yeah Ad a bed some defence. and done you can choose all empty settlements to get 100% in notime this way. You can easily go do some missions or other building somewhere else while waiting. I have the trophy 3 times on different consoles. I have the trophy on pc too. All those times using this trick. After hitting the 100% in any settlement extract that settler(s) and it stays empty with100% happiness.
Hey i'm currently doing it, i noticed something, robots like cury or ada doesnt count in the settlement number but can be assign to shop. will it work if i have like 5 regular settler and one robot ?

U don't need any of this only thing you need to is get 3 companies to max appreciation settle them to one settlement have 3 beds and food and wait 5 mins and u get it I got I randomly by moving settlers

I did this about 2 days ago, and it popped randomly on my screen..
I was on Far harbor DLC, doing some quest from DiMa.. to launch nucleus key.
Lucky me, i don't have to do this entirely. When i checked on pipboy stats, the highest happiness are 69% on sanctuary hills.
Literally on 99% just need one more, got 20 settlers, 108 df, 30 water & food. What am I doing wrong?
Everything I’ve read is it’s next to impossible with that many settlers because it’s too difficult to control all the variables that negatively impact happiness. I would consider just sending away some settlers to see if a smaller group can get it done
No mention of provisioners, but assuming I should remove them right? Even if they’re coming from a different settlement?

So I used your great guide and it worked perfectly until 95. When I got to 95 the arrow disappeared completely and it’s just staying stuck. I’m confused how to get that up arrow back.
I did his method do 6 clinics instead of 5 it ends up working
Try to increase your defense if it’s not already closer to 100. Try saving and reloading in. If that doesn’t work, try an extra clinic, or try sending a settler away and sending a new one in. You could also try adding a bunch of mutfruit to the workbench. They can pull food from there, and food can sometimes be a glitchy limiting factor
Another thing you could try is sending your love interest, whoever it is, to the settlement as one of the 6 settlers. I’m not 100% sure if this does anything, but I did it just to be safe
This is a great guide except for 1 thing. I also built up red rocket, there were 12 settlers there. I got 10 to leave. 2 won't leave no matter what I do. I can find them both, I try sending them, but they don't leave. Any idea why?
I've left and come back, I've restarted the game. Nothing works. It's always the same 2, a woman with a hat and a ghoul looking man.
The woman used to always look like she's leaving, then sat in a chair at the edge of the property instead. I scrapped her chair and she still doesn't leave.
I've gotten rid of all beds, buildings, food, defense and water and they don't leave......

You all, even oxhorn over complicate this. I got the trophy the first time by accident in a settlement with 2 people on my steam game, reproduced it on the ps4, and more recently discovered it can be done with 1 settler.
I’ve tried the 1 settler method, but found it to be less reproducible than 6. 6 is perfect because you can have 1 dedicated settler on food harvesting for everyone
@JacobReid I still haven't gotten all the trophies yet, 2 years and I have made a few mistakes and had to start over. I got the Kingsport lighthouse as the railroad safe house this go around and left the caretaker there by himself. I felt bad and bought a wolf in far harbor to keep him company, but my happiness was dropping really low. I switched followers after maxing Deacon, sent Deacon to the lighthouse, had him produce food, and didn't think too much about it. 100% happiness was dumb luck in that case. I love building the settlements, but I'm focusing on less is more now because the main quest trophies are all I have left.
I watched so many videos on this topic but never had any luck, and I always stalled in the high 90s at best. I'll re-watch this video and give it another go. Thanks for the reply 🙌🙌

Update: not sure if it does, I had a mix of sleeping bags and different beds, but I still managed to get this trophy finally, thank you so much!!! I didn’t follow it exactly as the video says because I didn’t want to redo my whole truck stop, but I implemented some of the tips suggested and they 100% work. My biggest problem was that Nick Valentine kept randomly getting unassigned from his Surgery Center lol

I did not understand why you placed toilets and chairs. Can someone explain please?
@@not_def_shadow820 it’s about the “size” of the settlement. There’s a bar in the corner that fills up as you place more stuff. The description of the achievement requires you to have a “large” settlement. You do that by building more things and making the bar mostly full

You can, but it’s a real pain in the butt if you ask me. It’s also less consistent
