Hi Adam, did some short trim flights from a small hill yesterday on my rudder elevator glider and used the trim buttons to get thing’s right and today used the sub trim to make things permanent, your video confirmed everything, thanks.
The fundamental fiference between trims and subtrims is that trims affects channel inputs (values from sticks), while subtrims are applied to putputs (channels values sent to receiver). Thus, trims affect mixers, while subtrims do not. This difference is usually subtle, but in some cases, becomes significant!
Awesome 👍👍 thank you very much Adam for making this video, and your explaining style is so good.I am new to rc and your videos helped me a lot .Thank you very much and keep it up👍
Adam, thank you for your video, always get so much from them, I am one of your subscribers. Quick question mate, I bind receiver Flysky FS-iA10B (R1) which came with Flysky transmitter and works fine. I would like to bind another Flysky FS-iA10B receiver (R2) to same Flysky transmitter, I would like to perform testing debugging without having to disconnecting/removing receiver (R1) mounted on Arduino ROBOT. Only one receiver will be operating at any given time. Cheers mate!
Hi I love your instruction videos, they always help me. Just finished watching trim and sub trim. It is very good. I would like your help if you can. I was given a FLYSKY FS i6 as a gift. Every this work except my trim. It beeps but servos do not move. Can you give me an idea what to look for? Thank you in advance John
If you use the trim in flysky during flight does it save it like that it does it go back after the radio is turned off? How do you know what trim button controls what?
Another reason for using subtrim is to adjust the servo arms to where you want them with no stick input. For example, if you want the servo arm a 90 deg to the servo body you may need to use trim to do it.
I'm building a rescue boat for my gas boats in event where I can't get a boat back to shore. Its construction is 3\4 in. PVC,pool noodles for floatation,2 electric motors,2 30 amp esc's, one 4s lipo, controlled by the flysky fsi6 and fsia6b receiver. I watched your video on setting up a two motor set up and put all the values you said to do on that episode but for some reason I cannot get the motors to spin regardless of any settings I try .I bought two new motors thinking of potential reasons for not working.I also replaced the receiver after the guy in the hobby shop noticed that it was very hot. What am I doing wrong please help!!
I set up some trim whilst flying. Trim not subtrim. When I made the switch for dual rates and expo, it adjusted the trim also. Why is this. This is not good when switching to dual rates. I have the same TX as in the video. Thanks.
My ia10b receiver started disconnecting itself and connecting back after some attempts of turning off and in again. Had problems binding it even when bind plug is plugged in. Is there a problem with the antenna???
Would this be applicable to tracked vehicles ? my dozer servo drives are running slightly out of trim, have to keep jogging the controls to keep it straight....
Love this vid! Quick question, does the RX battery level indicate the battery level of my zohd li-ion 3500mah battery or is that something else? Thanks
How to make the alieron and elevator mix ? For example when I turn left and right with the alieron I want the elavtor to move up aswell . instead when I turn to one side the elevator goes down and when I turn to the other side it goes up . how to make the elevator stay up when I turn both sides?
Trying to use my flysky FS-I6x on a sim on my PC but I am unable to match my channels through the setting on the Sim, is there a way on the flysky FS-I6x to change Channel 1 and 5 to fool the Sim to work as I need it? Thanks in advance.
Hi Adam.. May I know the receiver you're using with the flysky transmitter.. what about it's real-time range also which fs receiver is best for long range
@@RCwithAdam1 Thank u Adam! My quad recently failsafed out of RXLOSS though I had RSSI of 34% . I'm using Fli14+... also quite not sure about the best placement of receiver antennas for optimum signal strength
Hi Adam, once you correct with the sub trim is it correct to assume that you regain the same full stick and trim ranges in both directions? Cheers John
@Adam, what if you subtrim so that the control surface is straight, but the servo arm is not exactly perpedicular with the control rod? Then you won't have equal throw in both directions. How do you deal with this situation?
I am so desperate with my FS-i6X. Bought it right after my FS-T6B broke. In FS-i6X - my throttle is zeroed when the stick is in the middle. So I only have 50% forward thrust and 50% reverse thrust. And it's a plane, so this doesn't work with me. I need all 100% of thrust in a single direction of movement of the stick. Could somebody please help me out with an advice??:(
Oh no! Let's see if we can get you back in the air! Is the throttle spring-loaded to center? If so, this video might help: ua-cam.com/video/5LgzG7aE8IQ/v-deo.html

Hey! Glad I could help you. Unfortunately I have not encountered the problem you describe. Maybe it has to do with the type of servos you have?
How would you adjust the throttle? Jist built the drone and its saying to much throttle is applied even tho the stick is all the way down
If you use the trim in flysky during flight does it save it like that it does it go back after the radio is turned off? How do you know what trim button controls what?

You had me at the title. 😃😃👍

it is showing you receiver voltage which is provided voltage from esc

Hi Adam.. May I know the receiver you're using with the flysky transmitter.. what about it's real-time range also which fs receiver is best for long range
Hi! Usually, for airplanes I use FS-iA6B, and for quads I use XR-602TA, or Fli14+, or FS-X6B. Can't say positively which is best for range.

Oops, just noticed you already answered this before. And you regain full throws on the stick and the trims.
