Thank you for continuing to create content centered around the FlySky i6/i6X. It's such a great radio for beginners, and I feel like too many content creators poo-poo the humble i6. I for one appreciate the FlySky love! It's pretty hard to beat for the price!
This is just what I needed. I've burned out two motors by running full throttle for too long. I've set my max power at 70% so I can't go full throttle even if I wanted to!
I was trying to do this with my DX6e and found this, it actually is a lot alike although the issues was I put it on a switch in accident lol. But now I know, thanks!
You need to calibrate your esc ( turn on with the throttle up...and bring down so you don't need to mess with the throttle endpoint for your throttle to start sooner You might affect movement values to be non linear and accurate by adjusting with endpoints First part of the video was very helpful .thanks
Fantastic video! Very helpful. May be useful for indoor flying. Did you notice longer flight times? Thanks again for doing such an amazing job for the Flysky enthusiasts out there! Happy Holidays!
Brilliant review Adam! just what I needed! I'm just starting with this radio too and what would the battery size be for the FS-iA10B 10CH Receiver as I'm seeing on RC forum sites that the battery size can fry the receiver! I'm hopefully getting into mini helicopters Blade MSRX size etc thanks David
Regarding the second part: If you decrease the lower endpoint, will you essentially have current running through the motor when the stick is at it's lowest position, but without the motor actually spinning? If that's the case it could be a short cirquit.
Adam, I have a FS-I6X. I am using a nitro engine. Pertaining to endpoints in the tx, is there a feature that will allow me to setup a kill switching feature beyond any given set endpoint that is in the I6X?
Hi, I love my FS-i6X I have a problem with flying with Nitro power... MY problem is the main Throttle trim on the front of the transmitter For some reason will not move a SERVO ( try it yourself) I think it has something to do with speed controllers verses a SERVO hooked into channel 3 .... All the other trims will move servos just fine but NOT channel 3 there is no info in the user guide... and I have a different FLYSKY transmitter too (FS-ST8) which the same problem exists... Any ideas for me... Robbie
Hi ,Adam - thanks for the video. Unfortunately , you didn't address the issue of motor running when the throttle is switched on. I've just bought a twin edf, and cannot get the motors to stop, even taking them down to 120% - they slow, but don't actully stop? I've done the 'stick up'/ connect battery, drop the throttle arm, but to no avail, except that the motors sound in synch! Any suggestions, please?
Hi! I have the same radiocontrol flysky and I used it for a boat control. Do you have any ideea how to set up the throttle for forward and backward controls?
Can I use 2200kv motor with 10 inch props ? I read that I need to use 1000 kv motors or they will burn out. So reducing throttle output can that allow me to use 2200 kv motors without burning out ?
i usually use a glider type plane which fly higher in cloud and once it reaches there i have set a switch designated which change the trottle curve from 90% to 50% (i never set my high to 100% EVER) for 90, 90/4 is 22.5 so my 4 values are 22, 45, 67 and 90. for 50, 50/4 is 12.5 so my 4 values are 12, 25, 37 and 50.
I have a question. I’m using the fly sky FS-i6X for my Tamiya grand hauler. When I’m reversing I have very little throttle. I get full throttle going forward but reverse is limited. My end points are all set to 100%. Thanks!
Hi, Marko. The ESC is used to control the power to the motor, as well as power the receiver. The ESC connects to the battery and has a BEC to power the receiver. Check out this video ua-cam.com/video/8-lqaNBlaDs/v-deo.html for a fuller explanation.
Hi, Sir I have a problem with flysky fsi6 transmitter when the throttle is moved to 75% the motor shut off and starts to beeps and after making throttle 0% it starts again and the same repeat, please help me out.
Hi Adam, Just a quick question for you about Fly Sky 6. Can one transmitter be used for two models?? Do you need separate receivers and do they have to be the same frequency, or does that matter? Can I get a second receiver that will match up to the transmitter? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks
RCwithAdam Great ! .... Have you seen that little $10 dollar device from Banggood : the iRangeX iRX6 Multiprotocol TX Module for Flysky FS-i6 i6x Transmitter , that lets you bind with many toy drones like Syma and Hubson ? Seems like a good add on for Flysky users . Cheers !
Hey there, I need a little help. Does anyone know what brand of Gyro/stabilizer that will work with Flysky fs-i6x transmitter ? (RC Plane) thanks in advanceBTW, great videos
Is there a way to set the throttle so that below mid throttle the motor will run in reverse? I’m trying to use this transmitter for an rc crawler so I’ve got to have a reverse on the throttle.
Hi! I think this www.banggood.com/custlink/DvmDbYCYyv might be what you're looking for--FS-BS6. Edit: Sorry, I just realized that is designed for a car. Hmmm, wonder if it would work at all for a plane?
there is so much delay in my throttle response that i crashed my machine twice because of uneven throttle it just shoots up suddenly and then gets to zero in the same manner the motor output is not at all balanced what should i do to avoid a third crash?
Hey Adam I'm having similar issue with an i6x a flite test 25 amp esc the nano goblin 4000 kv motor on 3 s worked perfectly with the radio link t8s but I lost the rx in an unfortunate electronics ejection stuck the flysky rx in brand new 3 of them to be exact and all of them go wompus at full throttle

Awesome! I was using the right side for a remote lawn mower that I have built and needed to adjust the output! Thank you for us simple guys!
Excellent tutorial Adam. Thank you. I wish this channel existed 7 yrs ago!
Lol me too!😉
Super video's Adam, thank you. Really helps those of us who need a helping hand.
I was trying to do this with my DX6e and found this, it actually is a lot alike although the issues was I put it on a switch in accident lol. But now I know, thanks!
Thanks, nice job as usual. You are the go to guy on the Flysky FS I6X. Keep up the good work!
Wow thanks! I really appreciate that!
budget guy. appreciate this man
Yeah! 👍
Hey Adam Why are the end points on all channels set at 100% and 100% by default? Wouldn't 0% and 100% be more sensible?
Cheers Ken

Thanks so much! Good idea about indoor flying! I haven't really gotten to test it out.

Great vids on the Fs-i6x BTW.....learn so much from you
Happy New Year to Everyone, Thanks gor this Helpful Video Adam, Well Done Mate.
Great info do you know how to do the throttle hold help
Very clear and helpful advice and nicely demonstrated.
Glad it was helpful!

Similarly wondering about this

Can we change output value of other channels for servo?
Thanks for the straightforward advice and easy to understand, regards Alan, UK
You are so welcome!
Mr what is the advantage of this video i can use this method my rc plane
Hi, great videos. Gave you been using Flysky for things like tanks, dozers or excavators? Some videos about that would be appreciated

can i do this on ch2?
Hi! I have the same radiocontrol flysky and I used it for a boat control. Do you have any ideea how to set up the throttle for forward and backward controls?
Great stuff real well demonstrated
Is this necessary to do?
I learned again .thank you Adam
Glad to hear it! 👍👍

Hi what if I want to increase my throttle value instead? But however my High is already at 100%...
Hi Adams great video , my fs-i6 does not respond when I do what you show in the video about trimming the throttle. What is going on?
Plz i need help the horizontal line on his display tha was moving when he accalerated is always in the middle of my display and it causes trouble
Maybe do an ESC calibration first then the last step might not be needed?
Hello,
Hello Adam. Can you explain how did you connect RC receiver with motor. Is it a direct connection or did you use some sort of driver? Thank you
Hi, Marko. The ESC is used to control the power to the motor, as well as power the receiver. The ESC connects to the battery and has a BEC to power the receiver. Check out this video ua-cam.com/video/8-lqaNBlaDs/v-deo.html for a fuller explanation.

What is idle mode?
Good Lesson ! It will be handy for all my Builds and Models ! Thanks !
Hello @5:23 is that the reason why my drone disarms when have throttle down for freestyle?
Is there a way for beta flight to limit throttle or blhei32

Thank you so much, it's has been so helpful. Actually I was facing that the throttle issue now get resolved.
Thanks a lot
Have you done a Tutorial on how to use the i6 with a Flight Simulator ?
I haven't yet, but should!

Hi there.
Thanks for all the tips. Beside the throttle output is it possible to lower the output for other channels like 1,2 or 5,6?
Thanks
Tim
It is, on TX ATV function...
Great it worked!
Glad it helped!
Hai Adam, if i alter throttle end point in radio, so will i also have to alter in betaflight receiver tab too ?, .
, . .
.
,., .
Hi! I'm not sure. I'll have to test it out.
My home made dorne DJI Naza V2 not arming
Please help 🙏
Is there a way to set the throttle so that below mid throttle the motor will run in reverse? I’m trying to use this transmitter for an rc crawler so I’ve got to have a reverse on the throttle.
I don't think so, at least not in a normal way. But I will look into it!
Use a reversing motor controller, common for model boats.
Another awesome tutorial 👍
Thank you!!
No ideas? Gyro/stabilizer that will work with Flysky fs-i6x transmitter ??
Hi! I think this www.banggood.com/custlink/DvmDbYCYyv might be what you're looking for--FS-BS6.

How to can go return
there is so much delay in my throttle response that i crashed my machine twice because of uneven throttle it just shoots up suddenly and then gets to zero in the same manner the motor output is not at all balanced what should i do to avoid a third crash?
Hi! Are you flying a plane or quad?
@@RCwithAdam1 a quad
Thanks Adam👍🇬🇧
👍
What if my throttle's in the middle position for neutral, but I want it traditionally lowered all the way down for neutral? I have reverse there now.
My friend I have the same problem and I cannot find answer. Have you found how the neutral can be to the lowest position of the stick?
👍🏻👍🏻excellent excellent tutorial thank you....!!!
Thank you for this..
Good work
Thanx for this!
thanks for the reply
My receiver get disconnect after 50% of throttle can you help me to find out the problem ??
Hi! what electronics are you using? It could be a "brown out" where the motor and other electronics draw too much current away from the receiver.

Hmmmm, next project for Adam......find a gyro that works with flysky transmitter!
I think so!
Adam , I believe the NX3 and NX3 EVO may do the Job......but ur the expert buddy
Throtal 70%k bad Kam kar raha h kya karu plz
I cut my thumb trying to remove a propeller earlier lmao.
Good
i got that
But still facing a lot of issue rest of it.
