I prefer not to do the talkover style, but I’d shot most of the review footage already on Dickhead Survival. Hope you forgive the tinny-ness!

In all of my great many years of watching knife videos on UA-cam; that opening had to be one of the greatest, if not the greatest I have borne witness to. The rest of the video was great. It was insightful, and informative. This video definitely deserves a like for every view. Great Job, and Have a Great Weekend.

Best review of the SR1 I've seen yet, very fair and comprehensive. Great to see the knife in action from abusive wood processing to fine food slicing (and even its apple 'splitting' limitations). Also really like how you open it up for us to see the guts, which oddly so rare in video reviews. All way more informative than all those looonnnggg boring blathering reviews just watching a pair hands opening and closing a knife for 20mins.
One note on aggressive G10 and tight pocket clips - just remove the clip and use a piece of sandpaper to smooth the G10 under the clip's spoon - makes it a pleasure to use and will save your clothes. SR1 and Manix2XL both needed this - can't believe knife manufacturers haven't figured this out yet, flashlight manufacturer's have been smoothing the knurling under their clips for many years.

Well, poke a stick up me bum and call me a Paddle Pop! I paused at 4:25 to do a little test on my computer screen. I have an old X193HDL monitor (an Acer brand), 18" screen at 1366 x 768. Anyway, I put my open Delica up against the screen in standard view, not fullscreen and the Delicas are the exact same size. That may sound trivial, but for this geek, it was pretty cool. That's a pretty rare thing unless you have your monitors and set up for a specific size equivalence view in 3D or image editing software. I need a life...

I liked this knife BUT the first one I got had bad quality control, called Cold Steel and they were aware of the issue and told me to return to the distributor. The second one I got had better QC but not perfect for what they're msrp is. So I took it on a weekend camping trip and it couldn't cut anything around the campsite like make feather sticks and cut open a package of hot dogs, thankfully I also had a Spyderco military. When I got home and tried sharpening the thing the S35VN steel was to soft and wouldn't hold and edge. I sent it back to Cold Steel and questioned weather there was a heat treat issue. I've had to send back SOG, CRKT, Cold Steel, Emerson. ZT and Spyderco are the only folders I haven't had to send back for QC

Hey, I am from Germany an it would be interesting to me if you can convert this Folder into a 2hand opening blade by removing the Thumbstuds.
Because over here we are only allowed to carry a locking Blade if it is 2 hand opening.
Can you open the Blade one handed even if the Studs are removed?
If it is convertable I buy it immedeatly! :-)
Silly Laws in Germany, a locking bladed Spyderco with an opening hole would be illegal under every circumstance, can you imagine?
Keep up the good work, i like every Video I see!
    And those are many hehe...
Sorry if my English is not on par :-!

Very impressive that it's only iMovie and not even Final Cut Pro. I don't know a lot about Apple Products but I do know that everybody loves Final Cut Pro X. Any intentions to jump to that one at some point in the near future?

Hilarious knife. The lock looks a little better machined than some other cold steel knives. How was the action out of the box? My Lawman needed two hands to depress the lock 50% of the time before I took it apart and sanded and polished the contact areas.

Over priced smaller delicate thinner and with low material knives can cost more than sr1. Spyderco, benchmade, hogue Off grid etc have small knives with CPMs35vn twice expensive and 80% liner lock type Weaker. The only ones compared are the medfords and extrema ratio in thickness and are 5 time more $$$$$ the price. Work on farm and the sr1 have win my heart, no need too carry a fix blade when you have a SR1, AD10 or 4Max at much lower price.
Can any one have test medfords or extrema ratio or off grid vs cold steel SR1, AD10 or 4MAX
