Last 2 times they tried to run a diesel excursion to Cresco it broke down and didn't show up. That was last August. I never did hear what happened. Second time it was this year in July, I believe but it was cancelled at the last minute due to "technical difficulties." You can just image with it's like trying to run steam there.
Nice vid! Good ol' Steamtown... A mere shadow of its former self...
Beautiful video of Baldwin Locomotive Works 26.
Great work as always brotha! This locomotive actually fascinates me a lot!
Steamtown looks about as exciting as a trip to Pittsburgh....yippee🫤
Wonderful video I enjoyed it a lot👍 Thanks 🙏🌹
Great video man! I've got to get back to steamtown now that they're running trains again.

Can Baldwin #26 go further outside of Scranton? Maybe to Moosic, PA or Dalton, PA
It's done trips as far as Carbondale. They happen every now and then.
nice video, keep it up!
Fantastic Video you made I have an Idea for CN 6218.
Let me guess, is it something about the New York Central?

@@maxwellwalcher6420 so you're ripping off CPKC? Brilliant
@@ArkansasLocomotiveWorks Yes it was .
They need to let other organisations bring there locos in to run trains
@@RailPreserver2K They don't like other organizations.
It would be nice if they'd shut the bell off so we can hear the locomotive better.
more and more people getting irritated by safety device
she reminds me of detroit and makinac #8 :)
A steam whistle is a a warning not an apology. What is this, Disneyland?
Are you saying “Steamtown” only has ONE operating steam loco? You could hardly call that “Steamtown” could you?
No, I'm saying Steamtown has only one operational locomotive regardless. All of the other diesels that used to run need repair.

@@ArkansasLocomotiveWorks They have done a couple of nice cosmetic restorations of RDG T1 2124 and the UP Big Boy 4012.
That constant ringing of the bell got a bit irritating. Wanted to hear the sounds of the engine.
