i love this kind of content bc i’m very much an overthinker so i like having everything i could possibly need. usually edc content is done from a male perspective and you’re one of the only women i’ve found that does this content! i love it so much and am super grateful. there’s only a couple other creators i’ve found but most of them only posted a couple videos years ago. so i’m so happy! thank you so much!!!
Thank you! I have noticed the same thing with EDC…mostly male. However, as women, we are almost always more prepared because we carry handbags and purses and diaper bags! I think that’s how it all started with me it was traveling with children. It was want to be prepared for anything with them. I truly appreciate your feedback and I will do more of the EDC content!

Great video! :) I subscribed to your channel! My one concern though is hanging your purse on the passenger seat. A thief can reach in or even break your window to get it if you're parked or at a light. When I learned how to drive, my instructor told me that & said to keep it on the floor either behind or in front of the passenger seat.
@@ShinbiBelldandy they could actually break into your back window and get it off the passenger seat you’d have a harder time grabbing it to keep it safe. Another option is if you’re living in an area where these types of things happen is to put a carabiner on your purse and carabiner it to the actual headrest post. This will make it nearly impossible for them to get it off and if they try you just gonna drive off and drag them along with you.😊

I do have another bag that I carry when I’m going further away from my home let’s say an hour or more away that has things like my titanium spoons in them as well as some miso soup. I’m always overprepared but I feel like it’s insurance…better to have it then not! Would love to know what you think is the weirdest thing you carry in your EDC!?!
@@TheoryofSimple Yeah, it feels good having the stuff in case you need them. It doesn't matter how much it is. I just try to bring small sizes of the stuff. :) My EDC bag is just a Moment 1L fanny sling. Which houses my phone, keys, titanium utensils, wallet, pepper spray, alcohol spray, mint, a rosary, a nano bag, a plastic bag and also that one weird thing that's in my EDC is a retractable tape measure!😄 Because I need to buy stuff that has to be in a specific size, like something for the kitchen, or a chair that should be of a certain seat height, etc. But, like you, I carry a different bag for work or long travel.😀
Just found your videos and enjoy them. I tried doing the same but got confused: too much stuff,. Almost like overpacking. I'm glad you included the seatbelt cutter/window breaker tool. The grand-daughter of a family friend drowned in her car: electronics shut down when a car is underwater. She couldn't get out of her seatbelt. I bought that tool for my husband, kids and friends.
How tragic to hear of your friends granddaughter. I made these videos showing what I packed but remember you have to do what’s good for you so you can make this your own and take out things or even add things if you want but it’s just to give people an idea of what I pack in my every day carry.🙏❤️😊
Really like your videos. I'd like to see a lot more on just regular car travel tips. We don't car camp, but we do travel a lot by car (sometimes pulling our travel trailer). I'm always looking for new products, food, recipes, and organization tips specifically for car travel.

You may not need it but you’re always glad you have it! @@unclemeat7310 yes they may demand the bag, so that’s why I always carry a little extra wallet with me in my pants or jacket. That will have my real ID and a credit card and some cash. That way I can at least have things to keep me going and they can have everything else in that purse/handbag💕😊
@@unclemeat7310 I generally keep 2 wallets. The one on me has my DL, main CC, health card and some cash. This is on me in a pocket. The other wallet has another CC, Costco card, Some cash, ands other non essential cards that I don’t use as often.

And I think at my age I’ve been through enough things that have been paying points and I’m trying to avoid relliving those and not only helping out myself is someone else who could end up in that situation. So for me it is very much like having flood insurance or fire insurance earthquake insurance, you pick and choose what makes you feel comfortable and hope that you never have to use it! really appreciate you watching and commenting and look forward to your feedback on my other videos!

@@TheoryofSimple Purses are great, men are only just now coming to terms with it. Call it a sling, a manbag, a satchel, or whatever you need to not hurt the male ego but the fact of the matter is that it's a purse. I'm a 40 year old man and I'm not ashamed to admit it.
@@lndtbs I think is great that you take ownership of your own stuff! it’s more common in Asia and Europe for men to carry a satchel. In this day and age when you need sunglasses a phone AirPods a wallet and any other thing that you want I want to have on you makes sense to just carry a little bag or backpack to keep your things in. It used to drive me crazy that my ex-husband would make fun of my purse and then asked me to carry the keys or his sunglasses. I finally just told him get your own bag and carry your stuff. I don’t have room for your stuff in my bag.

I carry mostly the same things that you do but with a few variations. I have got to get those card-size utensils though. The ones I carry are mini versions of regular cutlery so they're a bit heavy. Yeah, I don’t wear make up every day, but I do carry a small amount of make up in my tiny little toiletries bag, which is a separate video. But adding those is a great idea for those who need to touch up during the day.😊

I really like your EDC bag! I don't keep my car keys in my bag unless I'm at home. When I go out into the world I take my phone out, and it goes into a pants pocket, and my keys get secured to my belt loop. This way, if someone manages to take my bag, I have my keys so I can get home.

Re hand soap: you tried the seatosummit “soapsheets”? It is small, dry and I usually just carry a few sheets in a mini-jeweler bag (ziplock). Loadout! :)
Hi enrique, I have tried the Sea to Summit socks and I have their laundry, body, shampoo and conditioner too. I think my biggest issue was it was too hard to get One little sheet apart and if my hands were wet it just was a mess. Now I have never taken them out of that little packet and put them maybe in those little Ziploc bags that I have. What I like about the Ponds facial cloths is that they are dry, they set up really well, and I can use them for cleaning anywhere on my body. Truly appreciate your feedback and suggestion and I might give that a tribe just taking a few sheets out and putting one of those Zip bags! I look forward to your feedback on my other videos!🙂

But I really wanted to say that the Japanese culture has always seemed to excel at compartmentalizing, and miniaturizing and you are doing a great job at highlighting that! And so graciously, too!

My one concern though is hanging your purse on the passenger seat. A thief can reach in or even break your window to get it if you're parked or at a light. When I learned how to drive, my instructor told me that & said to keep it on the floor either behind or in front of the passenger seat.
@@ShinbiBelldandy they could actually break into your back window and get it off the passenger seat you’d have a harder time grabbing it to keep it safe. Another option is if you’re living in an area where these types of things happen is to put a carabiner on your purse and carabiner it to the actual headrest post. This will make it nearly impossible for them to get it off and if they try you just gonna drive off and drag them along with you.😊

Hi Cheryl! The backpack is by Steve Madden and unfortunately I have not been able to find it on Amazon. I did not check the Steve Madden site. I bought this one at TJ Maxx a couple months ago. I’m planning on doing a separate video on the multi tools that I have and how I use them and why I carry them so stay tune for that in the next couple months. I do have another bag that I carry when I’m going further away from my home let’s say an hour or more away that has things like my titanium spoons in them as well as some miso soup. I’m always overprepared but I feel like it’s insurance…better to have it then not! Would love to know what you think is the weirdest thing you carry in your EDC!?!
@@TheoryofSimple Yeah, it feels good having the stuff in case you need them. It doesn't matter how much it is. I just try to bring small sizes of the stuff. :) My EDC bag is just a Moment 1L fanny sling. Which houses my phone, keys, titanium utensils, wallet, pepper spray, alcohol spray, mint, a rosary, a nano bag, a plastic bag and also that one weird thing that's in my EDC is a retractable tape measure!😄 Because I need to buy stuff that has to be in a specific size, like something for the kitchen, or a chair that should be of a certain seat height, etc. But, like you, I carry a different bag for work or long travel.😀
Just found your videos and enjoy them. I tried doing the same but got confused: too much stuff,. Almost like overpacking. I'm glad you included the seatbelt cutter/window breaker tool. The grand-daughter of a family friend drowned in her car: electronics shut down when a car is underwater. She couldn't get out of her seatbelt. I bought that tool for my husband, kids and friends.
How tragic to hear of your friends granddaughter. I made these videos showing what I packed but remember you have to do what’s good for you so you can make this your own and take out things or even add things if you want but it’s just to give people an idea of what I pack in my every day carry.🙏❤️😊

Hi Von! Yes I am a bit of a prepper! My theory is it’s better to have it than not because you never know when you’re gonna need it! I think of it kinda like health or car or house insurance. You may not need it but you’re always glad you have it! I’ve also been in some situations in my life or it’s been a little painful and I have decided that I was going to alter things on my life so I didn’t have that pain again! @@unclemeat7310 yes they may demand the bag, so that’s why I always carry a little extra wallet with me in my pants or jacket. That will have my real ID and a credit card and some cash. That way I can at least have things to keep me going and they can have everything else in that purse/handbag💕😊

@@unclemeat7310 I generally keep 2 wallets. The one on me has my DL, main CC, health card and some cash. This is on me in a pocket. The other wallet has another CC, Costco card, Some cash, ands other non essential cards that I don’t use as often.

It's the joy of contemplating the overview of any situation, formulating a plan and then executing it whether it fits into a small, reusable, zippered pill pouch or having an earthquake preparedness kit and may I say, without any fear, anxiety or stress, in fact, it's so enjoyable!!

And I think at my age I’ve been through enough things that have been paying points and I’m trying to avoid relliving those and not only helping out myself is someone else who could end up in that situation. So for me it is very much like having flood insurance or fire insurance earthquake insurance, you pick and choose what makes you feel comfortable and hope that you never have to use it! really appreciate you watching and commenting and look forward to your feedback on my other videos!

@@lndtbs I think is great that you take ownership of your own stuff! it’s more common in Asia and Europe for men to carry a satchel. In this day and age when you need sunglasses a phone AirPods a wallet and any other thing that you want I want to have on you makes sense to just carry a little bag or backpack to keep your things in. It used to drive me crazy that my ex-husband would make fun of my purse and then asked me to carry the keys or his sunglasses. I finally just told him get your own bag and carry your stuff. I don’t have room for your stuff in my bag.

I've read all the comments and agree with everyone - your Steve Madden backpack sling purse is adorable and so practical! It's such a great size. It's remarkable to see everything you carry in your EDC! I am always trying to figure out how to lighten up my bag, and you have me wanting to add more lol. I carry mostly the same things that you do but with a few variations. I have got to get those card-size utensils though. The ones I carry are mini versions of regular cutlery so they're a bit heavy. Yeah, I don’t wear make up every day, but I do carry a small amount of make up in my tiny little toiletries bag, which is a separate video. But adding those is a great idea for those who need to touch up during the day.😊
I suggest the large HeroClip. I got the medium, and it isn't wide enough to hook on tables or doors here in Ireland. Very frustrating.
Yes! I have them at all sizes! I keep a smaller one for my purse, so I can either hook it onto the table or hook it onto the chair😊

I really like your EDC bag! I don't keep my car keys in my bag unless I'm at home. When I go out into the world I take my phone out, and it goes into a pants pocket, and my keys get secured to my belt loop. This way, if someone manages to take my bag, I have my keys so I can get home.

Hahaha...I thought EDC was Electric Daisy Carnival (3 day concert). They have them in different cities. Usually it's the 20 something crowd that goes but I've been twice. I went to the one in Las Vegas... Your bag reminds me of alot of the stuff that I brought.

After posting this, I learned that EDC can mean a few different things😂❤️ I know a lot of people have asked about that little backpack and I have not been able to find one but I have a couple of substitutes that I’m going to be doing a video on next week❤️😊🙏

Re hand soap: you tried the seatosummit “soapsheets”? It is small, dry and I usually just carry a few sheets in a mini-jeweler bag (ziplock). Loadout! :)
Hi enrique, I have tried the Sea to Summit socks and I have their laundry, body, shampoo and conditioner too. I think my biggest issue was it was too hard to get One little sheet apart and if my hands were wet it just was a mess. Now I have never taken them out of that little packet and put them maybe in those little Ziploc bags that I have. What I like about the Ponds facial cloths is that they are dry, they set up really well, and I can use them for cleaning anywhere on my body. Truly appreciate your feedback and suggestion and I might give that a tribe just taking a few sheets out and putting one of those Zip bags! I look forward to your feedback on my other videos!🙂
@@TheoryofSimple fair enough! Good ideas! Those sheets are totally useless if they get wet all together (kind of like tissue paper). I wonder if something lite dr Bronners soap in an empty visine container would work too. Thanks for the feedback too! I’m always looking for ideas.
