My multimeter has figure 1 showing when it's power is turned on in the buzzer position- should that be? When I did the test one probe on outside one probe up the middle - that number stayed in window?
The meter appeared to be working as the buzzer worked if I touch both on outside of lnb?
What should be the reading if the LNB is working ??

very confused show.
When you put the leads together it showed 0.02 basically a short circuit zero ohms. When you seperated the leads it showed the 1 open circuit or higher ohms, normally you would have to altar the ohms to a higher setting but as you were using the buzzer for continuity it showed the 1, open circuit. Couldn't hear if the buzzer was sounding because of the music. Thanks for your efforts. Keep safe you and yours. If I have made an error please put me right.
It is not a 1 (one) it is an I (capital i) and it stands for infinite meaning there is an infinite amount of ohms between the points of the two leads.
@@MrGoogelaar Nice one. Yes of course it is infinite, as I said open circuit, but you must admit it looks like a digital 1. Like when it reads 1216 at 51 secs the I is as the digital one. What do you think. Thanks for the reply. Keep safe you and yours.
@@Ilovetosingem People often ask me why the meter displays a one when it measures an open circuit so I am so used to explain what it really is when somebody mentions it, some meters display OL for open loop.

1 = zero ?, on a volt-ohm meter a reading down to .0 shows it conducts eletricity , I know what you meant , you said zero , i thought it reads 1 on left side of the volt ohm meter, so 1 = zero, its confusing ?
