That looks fantastic. I'd love to see a compilation of videos following a horse like this through the different treatments from beginning to end. It would be so satisfying to watch that crack get better and better.
Love these videos but wish they'd give more narrative information. Is the crack permanent because of the injury? Why is a band used vs shoe? Why only 1 band vs 2 or 3? I love learning about these things.
It will grow out, but if the hairline crack still remains at the hairline (coronary band) , then it will not heal, and it will have to be held together as before the trim, until the crack doesn't appear at the coronary band anymore.
that hoof crack will never get to normal again as you show. the hoof has to be gouged from above the hairline where the damage started. you need to grind that crack deep and all the way down and then stitch it. dub the toe to prevent pressure on the crack, clean it very well and keep the animal high and dry. this will take months to start getting back to normal. I used to use glue- on horseshoes. this is not a one-treatment cure.
I have a friend who has two horses, the hooves are not as bad as being cracked but they have not been trimmed or cleaned since she got them. She told me to beware of the male because he gets mean: that is when I looked down at his hooves, I would be mean too of my feet were like that. Is there anyone I should call to make her get those poor horses hooves checked?
Actually, you could. Go into any nail shop and ask for help! They will glue it for you. I don't get my nails "done" but I did go to my mom's nail shop and they used some kinda fake nail glue in a clear color to fix a crack I got while working in the wood shop
Not going to lie, you can tell you don't care about that animal at all. Rough as hell, and no kind of care taken in trying to fix that Crack. Looks more like you need to do that on a car, not a living animal. Put a shoe on it, make it where no pressure goes on that area. Put a place to clean it out, drain it. Then put your epoxy on it. Poor horse. Take time in your work, or don't put it on UA-cam

Hello Lara how’s the weather over there
@@steveanthony8653 It can't decide if it's spring or still winter! My poor flowers have come up and some nights they're shivering their petals off. 🥀
@@LaraRenee42 Oh I see the weather over here is okay so where are you from? I’m from Dallas Texas
What a great petição!
@@steveanthony8653 I hope in 2 years you've become less scummy.
Мне очень нравится, как эти руки обнимают копыто. Столько любви к лошади❤
God bless ur teacher who taught u to help these creatures in need

Now that is some great work, I would be happy to try this method on one of my clients
Makes it look like there's a whole new hoof.
Excelente trabalho,Deus lhe retribua com prosperidade 🙏
I'm not sure that the piece of wire will add any stability or strength over what the resin provides.
Such a terrific job on a difficult problem.
Спасибище за Вашу работу, Здоровья Вам мужики!
Very nice and strong fix.
New to the he channel. Will this crack eventually grow out or will this need to be done regularly? Would love to see a follow up. Thank you!

Hello Melissa how’s the weather over there
Man are you fast, you done in 5 minutes what would have taken any other farrier an hour or more to do. 🐎👍🇺🇸
It's because the clip is not real time, some parts are fast forwarded and heavily edited for time.

Does the wire come out easily when the hoof grows down and you need to trim around the area ofd the repair?
Have you tried fibreglass and epoxies resin over the interested crack
Excellent!
This is terribly sad. Such neglect. It's unbelievable. It makes me cry....
Great job 👍🧿
Wow!
What adhesive did you use? Is there a chance of the hoof growing out normally now?
Nice
Does anyone else think the toe is aweful long?
toe too long and heels underrun
Impressive
Phenomenal
👏👏👏
please in a few months. show how the hoof is growing out correctly.
doctor hoof lol 😆

طيب بالصاروخ اسهل واسرع.. من البرد باليد.
Rough it up and put fiberglass resin over it to hold it firm.
Will the hoof grow back

In this age of technology, there must be better ways than a petty piece of wire and some unknown glue.
Would jb weld work to
Why'd you speed that up? That's so hectic

Try talking to her a bit, maybe send her some videos with a hey these are interesting!!
What is the black stuff?
Resin epoxy
That must have hurt when it split
Можно было снаружи немного подравнять
Interesting video, too fast for my liking.
Its a waste that video is speeded up... It takes away from craftsmanship I think... No need for that at all
Wish I could fix my messed up thumb nail like this
