At first I thought these were a bunch of crappy diy items, until I heard you actually play them. Wow, they sound really cool and give an exotic vibe to the beat.
As a jazz drummer, I've been doing this for years, although my method is a little bit less glamorous :) Just get a stick, and tape a shaker on it and use it as the shaker stick from there on out. It's really nice in your ride hand :)
Use the shaker on the stick for covering strawberry fields by the beatles, because Ringo doesn't use the hi hats or anything in the begging but he uses a shaker, this would make it easier so that you don't have to hold and then go through the trouble of placing it somewhere
Wow these are so freaking cool! Just goes to show you how awesome drumming is! I’ve been drumming for only 6 months currently using a cheap Alesis E-Kit I love it and play all the time! Can’t wait to get my acoustic!! Awesome video rdavidr!
Can see these being extremely useful for pit players. One less thing they have to grab, and a lot less janky... which may be a good thing or a bad thing...
awesome explanations and playing to represent these products. WIll definitely be picking some of these up. love the stick sounds and the bass drum sounds even better than i could imagine. Love it keep the videos coming. one love
I tried hard to make something like the suction cup jingles, only I wasn’t that smart. I tried mounting to the rim and the lugs and it just didn’t work. Suction to the head is way smarter.
Nice stuff. Great idea. Used (still use) the Beatnicker shakers, jingles, etc. on the heels when playing a cajon, but this takes it a way lot further. Looks and sounds like a lot of fun. Hope it doesn't take too long to get to Europe. Thanks for the vid. Hear you from Portugal.
LOL at the end of the video! I like the products, I think the drum beater one should be a little louder, maybe more or bigger attachment pieces? Idk. Cool video.
Can you do an update video on the diy low volume cymbal you made but drill on the Bell or even re do it with a pattern like the l80 have. Would like to know if it's possible to recreate them and use the crappy cymbals I have now as practice ones.
I've been looking for something like this for yrs as I use an auxiliary remote hihat next to my regular hihat for tambs but I'd would like to attach a shaker and what nots. This would be perfect!♥️🤖⚡
Thanks. Suprisingly, in live circumstances the kick Fx tambourine cuts very good and can be clearly heard. May have been the softer beater used in the video
Hey you really make me happy when I am down I watch you and I feel happy I would like to say thank you and that I really love your channel and hope you would like or reply back to me
2:54 looks like you officially are a remo guy... what do you think of the head? I'm planning to change mine and I'm not sure if I should get this or an emad2. great video btw😀
I understand it may not be recommend but tons of drummer do it because they like using thick part of the stick for accurate and clean 2 and 4 pocket playing. Also when doing a side stick what if I what it to be clean without the added product? Just some things I’m thinking about as I was watching the video. 👍🏻🤘🏻
It is designed to be quick release, so you can remove attachment quickly to side stick clean. Just like any effect for drums. You want to be selective about what gear you choose for each song. If you really wanted to use the butt end with the same sticks, you could allways pull the whole assembly off or switch sticks without it.
Tru Tuner got you well that’s just stuff I was thinking about, I love the kit fx your coming with I would suggest to do more of that 👌🏻🤘🏻 keep up the creative 🥁🤓 #loveit

I love that sound when playing! So much extra depth and... Everything!
At first I thought these were a bunch of crappy diy items, until I heard you actually play them. Wow, they sound really cool and give an exotic vibe to the beat.
Dude all of those are sweet
Wow that kit sounds really good with these heads

That stuf so awesome
I really like this. All the possibilities for adding texture so quickly and easily
Mallet on the back of the stick would be useful, even if it already exists, but having the option to take off makes more sense
Vic Firth makes a swizzle stick but I think other mallet head options would be a great idea.
This is actually dope !
Will be definitely be buying and testing out

came for the review, stayed for your phat drum beats. you never fail to amaze

This is way more effective than I tought it would be
Days been going pretty bad 🙁 but this..... THIS turned my frown upside down🙃😀 love it!!
This tuned mine upside down
:)
They sounded way better than I expected.
Can see these being extremely useful for pit players. One less thing they have to grab, and a lot less janky... which may be a good thing or a bad thing...
Adds a lot more to the beat that would be put in after the fact and adds a lot of depth
Wow, I'm honestly blown away by the added texture
after a while you don't even notice they're there, it just sounds good
they sound nice and so do your drums
Cool accessories gives you unique sound!!
Much more subtle than I thought it would have been I like it
What?! That sounds so sick! Would totally buy this if I was a drummer. GENIUS!
If you could put anything at the end of a drum stick what would it be? 🤔
A condom
A PEZ dispenser
rdavidr A brush
Fleshlight
More drumstick. Have it regenerate as it wears.

Thank you!
pretty cool idea!
Seriously thought it was a butt plug from the preview image ha!
😉
You can use it as one if you really want to
Dude I thought the same thing
I use mine for anal stimulation from time to time
@@Klaus312 and drumming, of course

I know it is not special effects but it would be cool if they added a mallet attachment for people who play the glockenspiel on the side
Cybernetic Husky I think Vic firth already did
@@purnellknight5368 yep, they do

@@purnellknight5368 wouldn't be surprised by it. Few things are brand-exclusive when it comes to drumsticks.
Pj Magic still, that would be super cool to have the possibility to put different sort of mallet on any stick you want.
In another life Dave definitely played the tuba
Every Death-Metal band needs this!
Those thing are such a cool idea
Man do those toms sound good. The FX deals sound really cool too.
Dude nice! Also, thanks for your drum tips videos. The tips really come in handy!
YEAH!! DAVID!! Love you man, I've learned so much!!
I like that suction cup thing that’s clever
I like the attachments except the stick ones due to the feel of the stick after you add to it
I like the drum head and pedal ones.

We can ship direct to you from Trutuner.com and rdavidr code saves 15%
Thanks, will look into if it's worth it regarding European customs taxes. Cheers
That’s pretty sick dude
If he made the jingle suction cup thingy with like four jingles I'd be sold
Neat! I'll be honest, though: What stands out the most to me in this video is the great-sounding snare drum ;-))
LOL at the end of the video! I like the products, I think the drum beater one should be a little louder, maybe more or bigger attachment pieces? Idk. Cool video.
I just saw an ad before this video for meinl where the set had 8 count em 8 DARK SERIES CYMBALS. THAT'S LIKE 3 GRAND FOR CYMBALS
This creates a tribal beat sound
That sounds really cool and i dont know why
This is amazing! Thanks man!
Stepping up the christmas carol game
Best part of video was you raising both hands shaking to the gods above 😂
Might need to cop some
6:39 face change had me rollin'
I thought I wanted it but then I realized,
I needed it
Aw yeah. Thanks for making my evening bro
can u hit that snare again...I still have some hearing left.. :p
Those are awesome
Your low Tom sounds badass
Would be cool for some samba/Bossa nova grooves.
When i first saw your hats it looked like the bottom one was a china cymbal, could be a good video idea china hats
I like your videos dude. Keep it up🤗😃
Your drums sound better. ??? Super hilarious at the end, btw! haha
Love u bro keep it up and post more vids please

very interesting.🍻
NOTI SQUADD!!
love me some tuner mayo 👌👌👌
I would certainly buy one if it came in black

They should make a mallet attachment
Too good
Do you use 2B due to your marching background so you don't have to get used to different stick diameters?
When it was first being explained, I thought these would be fucking pointless. But all together, it actually sounds pretty sweet, nice little effects!
very nice thingies
how well do u think you could here them when you are playing a live gig??
Yes, they are definitely loud enough to hear on a live gig
Tru Tuner thanks!
Woah this seems like a really cool innovative idea
I’ll go buy some
Price: $30
Yeah no I don’t need them anyway
Make a mallet Attachment for the stick fx
He’s a good drummer :)
Nice ending at 6:22 haha
Clicked on this soon as i got the notification lol

It’s Me again, Frankenstein Vistalite Donor Guy
How can We get in touch?
The only one that isn't doing it for me was the kick fx. I love the idea but it doesn't really get heard.
Thanks. Suprisingly, in live circumstances the kick Fx tambourine cuts very good and can be clearly heard. May have been the softer beater used in the video
@@trutuner517 weird question...I manage a music store and we use big bang dist. To carry the tru tuner...will these be available through them as well?

rdavidr thanks! I am a great fan of yours!
I'm worred about the impact this invention will have upon my future career as a professional tamborine player.
Looks awesome, I would love to have them. But they are way to expensive for some effects. At least for me they are...
sick
Does the stick on fx work better on loose heads?
It works about the same on loose or tight heads. Depends on sound preference. We prefer lower tuned loose heads.
2:54 looks like you officially are a remo guy... what do you think of the head? I'm planning to change mine and I'm not sure if I should get this or an emad2. great video btw😀
April 1st already?
Should've played the Spoonman "solo"
Are these diffuser behind you ? DIY ?
Thats really coo
Can these go on marching sticks?
Most likely not, the fattest stick they fit is a 2b.
I see you have a Remo Powerstroke Pro bass drum head now. How do you like it?
So with the sticks what if I want to play with the butt of the stick while I’m playing?
It is not reccomended to play with but end of stick. May make a mallet end that could use the but end
I understand it may not be recommend but tons of drummer do it because they like using thick part of the stick for accurate and clean 2 and 4 pocket playing. Also when doing a side stick what if I what it to be clean without the added product?

Powerstroke Pro or EMAD?
sound way cooler for tom grooves imo
Imagine if they miced the sticks and the sound engineer says “Yeah, just shake that stick for me”
