It would be really useful to have a teleprompter built into Camtasia. I find myself writing scripts in notepad but I have to have them on a different screen which means I'm not always looking at the camera.
you can create one on screen, then record yourself. Just add the text, add a custom animation, drag the text from down to up, and adjust the speed while rehearsing. You can then sync yourself to your video
@@R82-n2j but then the text would show on what I'm recording on the screen or I'd have to do the speech and video separately to the screen recording, which will cause all sorts of problems with timing. It needs to be in a pop-up window similar to the stop recording button which appears on top of the screen but isn't reorded.
I'd love Audiate to turn my script into scrolling-teleprompter mode. That way my eyes could stay at the right camera level while reading. I avoid scripts and use prompts because looking up and down at a script doesn't do a thing for my delivery. For now, I do better using notes and delivering extemporaneously, but it's not as good as I'd like it to be
You are using AI to write the script in Audiate, but I feel you didn't address the elephant in the room - how is this any different than asking ChatGPT to write it for you?
You can have whatever AI tool you want write a script for you if that's all you want. But with Audiate, you can automatically generate a narration from that script (in multiple languages), or read the script and narrate it yourself without ever leaving one piece of software.

Thanks, excellent video and content. Nice job, you're a natural at presenting 👍
In the next update, creating and editing videos with text prompts will be possible?
Not planned for the next update, no.
Nearly everyone else has completed this task. You mentioned that you haven't started planning yet; it's important to stay updated.@@techsmith
