Great new features. I have not used Audiate in the last few years of using Camtasia as I did my own narrations. But with these improvements I decided to go for it to see how it may help improve workflows, and add some different voices. Ok to start with it took a little time to get used to how best to place comma's etc so descriptions sound more natural, then a bit of time to find the right voice and adjust speed and pitch (English UK - Mia Speed 0.95 / Pitch 0.97). But after the initial effort, quite impressed. As others have said I can't wait to see how much more it improves, and potential for own voice generation.
Amazing features, I cannot belive! I was thinking this morning how can I record my new videos in different languages plus capitions including my native language (Portugue Brazil). Thank you so much! 🙂
Move captions and reformat? Thank you!! The "Roger" voice was a bit robotic, but when I tried some of the others, they sounded human. I can't wait it to dub my voice!!
That's definitely on the roadmap! 🎉 And the caption work is ALMOST complete but still considered 'coming soon.' It works in some instances, but not every workflow just yet. It'll be complete shortly though, but we just had to share!
I do my own voice work but would like to see how this works in other languages. The one thing I am nervous about is not knowing how good the translation is. In the past I had some auto generated translations and my native speakers of the target language said it was obviously not done by a native speaker because some words were incorrectly used. Like one time the script referenced a chicken (recipe) and the translation came out robot chicken. Not speaking the target language I would never have known that myself. Where does the translation come from? Is it checked for accuracy before or during training the AI?
where can we hear samples of the voices Audiate can use so that we can understand how good they sound? I currently use Speechelo and would be interested in moving over to your voices for when I don't want to use my own voice.

There is no maximum length for a transcript, though after a certain point there could be some performance issues depending on a users computer. We currently only test with files up to 2h long, but there are no technical limitations on duration. One thing to note though, there is a limit for recording duration. While you can import files of any length, you can only record for 30m at once. You could record as many times as you'd like in a single project, but only 30m at a time. If you'd like to create audiobooks, we would recommend reading less than 30m at a time, and then once you get to a point where it's starting to feel slow on your machine, create a new project. The 30m per-recording limit is something we have on our roadmap to eventually address.
When you send your narration or audio over to Camtasia, you can then use our assets to add b-roll footage over it if you like. Or import your own media. ua-cam.com/video/T0FnDcSSuAA/v-deo.html
That's only in the "Generate Script" workflow. If you are hoping to have AI generate a longer script we'd be interested in that use-case/feedback. But for now, you can always bring in a longer script, (copy/paste) and you can do that in the standard workflow.
Great that all this is in one place. The voices sound computer-generated and not as natural as I'd want for my work. Is there a way to train it to recreate my own voice by listening to a wav file of one of my own voice recordings? Interesting that it sounds more natural in a non-English voice.
Using your own voice is something that we're interested in looking into, but we're not quite there yet. That's actually not too surprising that other languages sound more natural, a lot of other languages have very predictable spelling to pronunciation rules, whereas English is all over the place, which makes it a more difficult language to synthesize.
Thank you. I hope you do work on this front. One of the things I'm also trying to do with Camtasia is an audio graham that uses the text that's automatically detected with the voice. @@miless2111sutube Currently batch translating isn't an option, so like you said, it's an admittedly easy process, but it would currently be a little manual to change the translation and re-export.
