Please don't trash good food away after opening it. You can still use the soy sauce and other groceries until they expire, they have dates on them. You can also watch your groceries to see if it is still good or not, when it is not throw it way.

The problem is, I never know how much more calories to eat in order to compensate for the burnt calories from cardio. I’m cutting atm and my maintenance is about 2.4K calories. I aim to do around 10k steps a day just generally not because of my cut. When I do a gym session I’ll do my workout then after I will do the step machine 5 times a week for about 20 minutes which burns around 400cals. Now you could see this as body recomposition however I eat 2400 calories a day or there about some days more some days less but the gym session + cardio and the added 10k steps from the day allow me to eat in even possibly a surplus to my maintenance because of how active I am. Thus meaning I am not under eating or haven’t experienced under eating. Another tip when cutting is to mainly prioritise protein. Check out Jeff Nippard who just released a video on the science behind how much you should eat on a cut. Hope this helps you out
Protein protein protein. Eat lean protein as you cut to keep you full, while tricking your body at the same time. When your body gets enough protein it will not think it is in starvation mode. No need to add calories for cardio if you are on a cut, just add lean protein until you are satiated.

Just don’t count the burnt calories from cardio. It’s easy to overcalculate and overeat. It’s very hard to accurately track
