Please continue tasting these varieties through the season... it would be interesting to see how their flavours change. Last year all my tomatoes (even my tried-and-tested favourites) were totally flavourless at the start of the season (I think due to a combination of too much water/rain and hot weather)... but right at the end of the season they had mind-blowing flavour (after I stopped watering them and the weather was cool). People on UA-cam don't always tell you about these flavour changes through a season, so it would be interesting to see if you find that with your varieties.
Our bodies crave foods and needs vitamins and minerals so I'm not sure if plants falvor change but the change might be our bodies resopnce once it has been forfilled for it's needed foods. Even a bear knows when it has enough. I'm agreeing lots of rain effects falvor.
I absolutely LOVE that you take the time to print out the variety! It’s so helpful! You’re the first person I’ve seen do it but I wish everyone would. 😃
I also taste test canning type verse slicers and just not fair as 2 different reasons to have. Midnight Snack Black Brandywine and Thornburg Terracotta is favorite in our circle.
Haha! Crucifix and Garlic! Thanks for the taste test! I'm wondering if the rain effected the taste? Or maybe they were just bummer tomatoes lol oh and we're Minnesota fans 🫥☺️ I do love how beautiful Wisconsin is! Looking forward to watching your other taste test video.
Ha! Spouse is a Packers fan. Jasper is one of those I initially did not like but for salads they are perfect. Not my top five but I'd grow again. I like the Black Strawberry. I do plan to try Juliet next year. Thanks for taking the time to make this vid!
I’m growing Juliet this year on suggestion from your past videos. I’m never going to be without it in my Mn garden!!! So flavorful and prolific and versatile!
Hi Sharon! This has been a strange year for gardening. It was very hot and when we got rain it was few and far between but rained long and hard when it did. My plants got blight so they didn't do too well and my zucchini would do great then the ends would start to rot. Oh well there's always next year! I always enjoy your taste tests. That one Russian tomato I've heard pronounced in three syllables like ah-zoych-kah. I've heard they are a great tomato and I hope to find some seeds for them for next year. See you next time 😊👍
Hi. I don't really grow that many bi-color tomatoes. My favorite would have to be Big Rainbow. I have tried the Pineapple one and if I remember (it's been a while) it was very good.
when you say fruity but not sweet.. what do you mean? because I associate fruitiness with sweetness.. so what is the fruity flavor?? By the way... I love your tomato reviews... you get right to it and don't dilly dally... I like that!
Hi. To me "fruity" has a citrus-like taste. It's different from tomato that is just sweet, like Sungold. Green Zebra is a good example of a sweet-citrus flavor. Thanks for watching!

Will do! I am really interested to see if their flavor changes, too.
